Woot, too expensive for me but more options is nice.
Just to clarify, I'm cheap when it comes to controllers, I don't have an issue with this controller's price personally.
That is very pretty.
@Kalmaro While it may seem expensive, it's actually cheap when compared to HORI's Nintendo Switch Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa Fight Stick. It's almost half the price.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE no doubt, but I'm poor so it's expensive for me, lol
I wonder if they will have one in all black oar at least in the colors of the Switch... will have to think about this for a while, its gonna be between this or Hori's eventually.
The couple of European Amazon sites that are selling this are asking for ~€107 plus postage. $80 is ~€67. A €40 increase even after taxes isn't fair.
I was looking at the Hori Arcade stick today and was tempted but at 5500 baht / $165 it's just too expensive for me to justify. This 8Bitdo one though is certainly do-able.I actually like the look of it better too.It might not match the Hori one in quality but it'll be close enough.I'll wait for a review first though.
Do like the way the controller itself is double the size of the console
Sheer awesomeness. Might have gone with a bigger hand model to not make the unit look so massive. I suppose Costanza's modeling career really is over.....
As good as this is, the only game I'd use it for on Switch is USF2, which I'm already very iffy about the price.
@Kalmaro Arcade sticks aren't cheap, I'm afraid.
Pretty good price for an arcade stick. I could see myself getting one of these down the line and really digging into some of those NG shmups and fighting games.
@Captain_Toad Yep, which is why I don't have one.
I love the NES color scheme and am very tempted to buy it but I know I'd only end up using it for a couple hours before putting it away to collect dust.
Looks like a nice alternative to the expensive Hori stick. May need to wait on reviews for both.
Looks great, reminds me of the NES Advantage, AKA God's Joystick. I doubt it'll be as heavy though, but hopefully just as good.
Yep. I definitely need this.
Surprised it can accept Sanwa sticks. The wirelessness of this makes me almost like it more than the HRAP. But....meh, I want the tighter build...that's half the fun.
If it can take a Seimitsu joystick, I might go in with this instead of the HRAP for roughly $50 less (factoring the cost of the LS-40 stick I'd get for it). But the HRAP is so sleek and sexy, though....
Love it! But I already have the Fc30 Arcade Stick. Don't need this.
When will the orders go live for the new SNES with thumb sticks?
Still waiting for a fight pad...
Pretty cheap compared to the Hori sticks.
Already an arcade stick for Switch and PC? Nice...though I'm curious about the claim that it "works on Steam". Does that mean the Steam Controller software works with it the same way it does with a DualShock 4, or is it just that it works like any ol' PC pad therefore works on games in Steam?
Still waitin on that snes 30 pro controller thingy.
Too bad to connect it to your Nintendo system, you'll likely have to jump through hoops on fire backwards with your fingers crossed, arms tied behind you, and blindfolded.
Their track record of Nintendo "support" has never really panned out in the past. Very difficult to pair up their devices to allegedly supported modern Nintendo hardware. And when you actually accomplish it, it often doesn't work 100%.
Hopefully this breaks that pattern, but I'd caution those considering preordering it with their Nintendo Switch primarily in mind to wait until the verdict is in.
looks cool but all my systems individually take up the same or less amount of space!
This is cool but its merely a rebadged usb stick that you can get on Amazon. I think it woulf of been better if they had made a modern Switch style rather than NES themed.
