I just finished RDR2 a month or so ago on PS4. I wouldn’t mind playing the original, so long as it avoids the same performance issues that the GTA Trilogy had.

My partner and I played the first game while recovering from Covid and we really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the sequel.

Call it nostalgia, but the DX version wins for me. I did enjoy the remake, but not enough to do repeat playthroughs like I did with the DX version.

I always believed BotW and TotK took place during the Child Link timeline, because Zelda makes reference to the Twilight event in Breath of the Wild in one of the flashbacks, but I could also be wrong.

I’ve only played it a handful of times and it wasn’t a bad game. I just don’t know if I’ll miss it when it’s gone (definitely not like Super Mario Bros. 35).

So long as these evergreen games keep selling well, Nintendo has no incentive to lower prices.

With the limit on Remote Raids and bumping up the prices of their Remote Raid Passes, I'm thinking I might take another break from Pokemon Go soon. It's becoming less enjoyable and more of a daily chore. I feel like I'm primarily playing to get steps and earn XL candies for my 4* characters (I don't really battle other players, so there's that too).

I know many Star Wars games are on sale on the eShop and I was tempted to splurge...until I realized I have nearly all of them on GOG.

My partner and I saw the movie last weekend and we both really enjoyed ourselves. I wouldn't mind if a sequel came out.

Here's hoping for a console re-release of "Star Wars: Rogue Squadron."

FF9 was my first (and my favorite).

It’s fixable. When “The Flintstones” (1994) first came out, Mel Blanc’s name was left out of the credits despite providing the voice of Dino. His name was put in and can be seen in the home release.

I hope Illumination gives credit where credit is due to Mr. Kirkhope.

Super Mario Run was fun in short bursts for about a month.

I played this a lot for the GB emulator built in (could only play Pokémon games though). If you beat Mewtwo the second time around in Pokémon Stadium, you unlocked Dodrio mode (x3 speed). This was particularly welcome for grinding out levels quickly on your GB cartridge.

We buy DVD & Blu-Ray discs from time to time. Streaming is nice and convenient, but there are also those films that are rotated off the platforms from time to time, so having the disc available is handy.

To be fair, I don’t think the Pokémon games ever left the 3DS VC Top Charts.

I remember renting Burger Time for the NES way back in the day. I absolutely loved it! I’m really glad to have that opportunity to play a version of it again.

On one hand, the deals are fantastic and I’m very tempted. On the other, I rarely play my 3DS and Wii U anymore and I’m saving money for Tears of the Kingdom.

I’m suddenly reminded when Nintendo did its million seller program here in the US for the N64. Mario Kart 64, Star Wars, and others dropped to $40. As much as I dismiss the 33% off discount nowadays, I’m just mindful now that, when I was a kid who earned allowance, it made ALL the difference.

I’ve played it and it reminds me of the Agetec series in the PSOne, low-budget, low-cost, low-frills simple games. They’re not bad if you completely understand what you’re getting for the money you pay.

I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t tempting, but I’ve already played my fill of it on the Wii U and I’m currently between Red Dead II and Sky: Children of Light (on top of work, theater, and graduate school).

@Bluelink45 That’s great, actually! I know Costco sells eShop cards. It’s something like $100 in credit for $80 or $90 (can’t remember off hand).

Silly question: Can you buy vouchers with eShop cards?

I’m open to buying more amiibo if there’s a figure I really like (realizing that meaningful support for the platform has been inconsistent at best or just non-existent), but I also haven’t bought one in years because nothing has really jumped out from for me (my last one was either the Link from “Link’s Awakening” figure or the giant Detective Pikachu. We did buy a few Animal Crossing cards a year or so back though). There are a few I wouldn’t mind picking up if I found them for cheap, but that’s about it.

I might just have to hook up my Wii U again.

My partner and I fell off the Pokemon main series bandwagon a long time ago, so we picked up Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee & Pokemon Shield for really cheap yesterday. Meantime, we're also playing Miitopia.

I played the freeware version when I was into the Dreamcast home brew scene. I can’t tell you how many times I played through it and loved it. I bought the full version on GOG a few years ago, but it’s cool to see the game get some love and a rerelease on the Switch. If the price is right, I might get it.

IGN pronounced it tears (crying) and Nintendo hasn’t corrected them as of yet.
