I played it on the Dreamcast back in the day. I think I paid a whole dollar for it. Anyway, I got to the very end, beat the boss, and the game froze before the story could progress. I didn't feel the urge to play it again to [try and] see the ending. Overall, it was a competently average mech-shooter, neither awful nor great. Just kind of "meh".

Color me intrigued...

This might be my first purchase from Limited Run Games.

Reminds me of Sega doing something similar with the Dreamcast back in the day. From 2001 onward, MIL-CD support was dropped, making consoles incompatible with CD-ROM discs. However, this happened only months before support for the system was ultimately pulled, being WAY too late.

If I play anything this weekend, it's probably going to be Fallout: New Vegas (GOG).

Shovel Knight for Wii U and 3DS are 75% off. I'll probably be doing that this weekend.

If a delayed game is eventually good (ignoring Duke Nukem for a second), can the same be said about a delayed movie...?

Kung Fu was one of my favorite games on the NES back in the day. Kind of disappointed it didn't make it to the Wii VC, but I'd love to see it on the Switch one day.

I made a group for all those free games I got during those December advent calendar promotions where you get a free game if you already own another by the same publisher...and that's about it.

I gotta say, every single time NintendoLife makes a post about a game being "Pokemon-style", "Zelda-style", or whatnot, I have to wonder if they're admitting (consciously or not) just how much first party titles overshadow most everything else on Nintendo platforms.

Such a nice gesture on Shin'en's part. I hope other companies follow suit (I know Capcom is on 3DS).

Makes me wonder what the state of "Silver Falls White Inside Its Umbra" for the Wii U is now.

I bought mine on Craigslist about a year in. I've only had to send the Joy Cons in twice for drift, but it runs great otherwise (fun fact: even though it was used, Nintendo started my year-long warranty the month I bought it).

Gotta say, I was actually surprised to see a few third party games make the top ten.

I've already triple dipped (Wii U, Steam, PS4), so I may pass. However, it's still a great game that's worth playing.

Hoping for a physical release, but I'm really excited for this, all the same.

I could never figure out how to get MAME working for myself (maybe one day...). All the same, I'm happy for what it's been able to accomplish over its lifespan and would continue to support it in the future.

My knee jerk reaction would be "Nintendo buys Sega"...but setting aside armchair corporatism, I'm not sure what will happen next, nor if I'm necessarily looking forward to any of it.

I'd really love to see the data UbiSoft has that says NFTs are safe for the environment or even remotely ethical, because the whole thing smells like a huge grift that's destroying our already fragile planet.

It was...okay...-ish (I enjoyed the original 1995 film more, but I also grew up during that time, so maybe it's merely rose-tinted nostalgia?). Wouldn't mind watching the new sequel on a lazy weekend afternoon.

Or...Nintendo pushes it back to coincide with their next-gen console release (like with Twilight Princess for GCN/Wii and Breath of the Wild for Wii U/Switch).

It reminds me of when PC gaming companies would do little holiday themed levels or sprites back in the day. This is really cool.

I just got the Trilogy on the Wii U's eShop, but this would be cool, all the same.

Each time I see RE4 on sale, I'm initially tempted. Then I remember motion controls were removed and look at maybe getting the Wii version again.

My partner and I found the Sanrio pack at a Target here in North America yesterday. We picked up two, one for us and one for a Christmas gift. We're really glad to see a reprint happen, especially after the mess when they were initially released here.

We pre-ordered yesterday. My partner is really excited.

That's a shame. I was kind of holding out for the Hylian Shield phone ring (saw it on Japan's My Nintendo page). But I gotta say though, I don't think I'll miss the physical rewards. Most of the stuff there didn't pique my interest and what actually did (even marginally) was gone in no time.

The premise reminds me of Pinball Quest for the NES, pinball with RPG elements. I'll definitely put this one on my wishlist.

I was more into Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories than the main games, but this is still cool, all the same.
