@Mario-Man-Child If he feels that way he can. A growing number of people are growing frustrated with him, especially for, as @Yorumi mentioned, generic and gimmicky games. If you admire Miyamoto, then good for you - someone can still be a Nintendo fan regardless of liking Miyamoto, however.
Whew, the reactions to this... wow. The most negative I've seen in a while. Honestly, if Nintendo really do 'listen to their fans', as they say they do, they would quickly be reversing this decision.
I doubt that the NX is going to kill Nintendo (I mean, they are still making a profit, remember) — however, they will be damn close to killing themselves if the continue like this.
This year, at least for attendees on the show floor, is gonna suck for Nintendo fans. Not everybody is interested in Zelda, especially with the open-world style being adopted in this iteration. What about the 3DS? The console has some great games coming out this year - and it's being totally ignored?!
I was starting to grow concerned about Mini Mario and Friends, given the complete silence by Nintendo of Europe on it. Glad to see it arriving on the 28th.
Also, didn't Epic Dumpster Bear just come out? Why is it already getting a permanent price drop? Seems a bit unfair to anyone who paid full price for it...
One thing concerns me about this, which is the idea that a new system for first party games has been put in place, to make releasing games quicker; sure, that sounds great in concept, but will that affect the quality of the games themselves? Only time will tell.
I try to support RCMADIAX, but when you plan to release a slot machine game, I give up. This isn't what the Wii U is for; it's for iOS and Android. This is just plain insulting for Nintendo; sure, the Wii U hasn't been a success, but that doesn't mean those few of us that have a Wii U should be treated to this garbage.
If you are going to get some fun out of this games, I wish you the best. Me, not so much. I'm tired of this. SUPER ROBO MOUSE isn't even that good - it's missing the most basic thing; sound effects. Come on now!
@Vegaphil Because Nintendo is part of the global gaming market; any big things that occur in the market we have a right to know about too. Besides, this is 1 article - how many do you see that are solely about the PS4? We can talk about what we want - there isn't a "NINTENDO ONLY" rule now, is there?
@TheRealThanos Even if they did purchase in bulk, they wouldn't be too much cheaper, or the graphics card manufacturer would be getting ripped-off. I can see a $500-$700 price tag, but not a $300 one.
The 'temporary marker' seems like a handy addition.
Apart from that, they really need to shake this series up soon, or people will literally stop buying them. Micross/Mega Picross were nice ideas; what else can Jupiter come up with?
Besides that, I like the background picture that's used on the top screen. Looks really cool.
"In any case, the home console market is set to get a whole lot more complicated."
Succinctly put.
I don't see the point in a PS4K, since the PS4 is a pretty powerful machine as it stands. Further proves my theory that people are shifting towards a 'graphics are what matters' mentality. Besides, if this thing can play 4K, it's gonna be SUPER expensive; how many people will be willing to pay up?
I predict this is gonna be a big flop. My other concern is storage space - games designed to work with 4K are gonna have higher texture quality, et al - these games will be massive! 500 gigabytes may not suffice (not that it ever has if you go only digital) in terms of space.
@manu0 Of course I think that. But it's still weird why Nintendo of Europe hasn't even acknowledged the game at all. Well, we'll just have to wait for the next Nintendo Download and see if it appears there or not.
With all the suspense due to a lack of many concrete details about the NX, E3 is going to be one of the most tense and engaging events this year for a Nintendo fan. What direction will the NX go in? What will the games be like? We'll just have to wait and see.
I'm not so much concerned about the current lineup of Wii U games (I think they're fine); more so the lineup for the future. If the NX is announced at E3, clearly the company would shift their interests towards marketing (ahem, yes, MARKETING) the console and ensuring the games are of a high quality. What happens to Wii U then?
Paper Mario, Mario & Sonic and Super Meat Boy. Honorable mention goes to amiibo Challenge, only because there's been no info from Nintendo of Europe on the game at all.
CAN YOU FEEL THE SUNSHINE
DOES IT BRIGHTEN UP YOUR DAY?
I really do hope Sonic regains it's mass popularity with all ages soon. Nobody wants Sonic to die, especially the poor man behind the official Twitter account for Sonic!
Quite a shame really. This entry could've had a lot going for it, given the fact the Olympics is quite a big event, regardless of where it is hosted and you would think, given the Rio setting, they would've done more with the series. I have some hope for the Wii U version, but I doubt it'll do much better. Regardless, I intend to pick up the Wii U version no matter how mediocre it actually is.
It's not weird for a grown man to enjoy these things; you're being really narrow-minded about this. I get that's your opinion, but the way you phrase it comes off as really condescending. I know Miitomo isn't for everyone; but for those it is for, they have a multitude of reasons for enjoying it. Just leave those people be, jeez.
I tried this on my Android tablet yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Someone needs to set up a campaign to get this over to the west; it's really quite fun!

How strangely cool.

@InfernapeKing97 Any version of Mario will work; to answer your question, yes.

Re: Review: Draw 2 Survive (Wii U eShop)
What a shame, I guess. Will the game be re-reviewed after the local multiplayer/story mode arrive, or not?

Re: Nintendo Download: 21st April (North America)
I'm somewhat shocked by the lack of MP2 this week for NA, but EU get it so I'm not concerned!
My personal recommendation is either Star Fox Zero/Guard or the Pocket Card Jockey demo.

Re: Review: Star Fox Zero (Wii U)
'Star Fox Sixty More'
Exactly. It's a shame Star Fox Zero ended up being somewhat generic and gimmicky. I really hope it sells, however.

@TheRealThanos That seems too low for something capable of 4K. Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see for official pricing details.

Re: Nintendo's Official UK Store Opens Kirby: Planet Robobot Pre-Orders
For £5 extra this seems like a steal. Myself personally, I'll probably just get one of the amiibo, since I don't really play 3DS games any more.

Still waiting for a European release date Nintendo... still waiting.
Re: Review: Chompy Chomp Chomp Party (Wii U eShop)
Is it just me, or does this review ignore talking about the music and visuals? Or did I just not read this right or something?
Re: Video: Slippy Gets Scary in Our Star Fox Guard Trailer
What's more scary; the fact FNaF was referenced or the game itself? xD
Very funny video regardless!
Re: Video: Flashy New Trailer Showcases The Four Combat Styles in Monster Hunter Generations
Glad to see this is shaping up to be a good entry in the series, even if I don't care for it that much at all.

The 'Super Famicom hoodie' is the only one I'm considering right now. I like the look of it.

Wonder how much they're being paid for this.

Re: Random: How to Turn Your Old NES Into an Electric Guitar
I would pay to see a band perform with Nintendo systems/peripherals. I would pay real, hard cash to make that come true.
Re: Review: Lovely Planet (Wii U eShop)
I remember playing the Nindies@Home (which I REALLY hope they do again this year) demo of this; needless to say, I won't be buying this. Why?
The. Bloody. Controls.
Re: Here's How Much Space Star Fox Zero And Star Fox Guard Will Consume On Your Wii U
6GB! Jeez.
Re: Yo-Kai and Dragon Quest Still Lead for 3DS in Japan Following Modest Disney Art Academy Launch
Of course Yo-Kai is leading; it's like the new Pokemon over there. Meanwhile, Europe doesn't even have the first game yet!

Paper Mario, Mario & Sonic and Super Meat Boy. Honorable mention goes to amiibo Challenge, only because there's been no info from Nintendo of Europe on the game at all.

Re: Review: Yoshi's Story (Wii U eShop / N64)

Re: Minecraft: Wii U Edition Update Adds Achievements, Wii Classic Controller Support and More
Nice to see they got achievements in the game finally. I may be tempted to buy this when a retail version launches.

Re: Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge
Really glad to hear this is being released in the West! Looks really fun, if a bit gimmicky. I'm sure with my 6 amiibo I'll have a fun time.
(Who knows, it may even persuade me to buy the remaining Mario series amiibo...)
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th February (Europe)
"6180 the moon" seems fairly interesting. I'll probably pick it up. Nice to see a wide variety this week for Europe.

Re: Guide: Setup and Key Facts for Nintendo Account and Miitomo Preregistration
Done. I wonder what that Platinum Point can earn you with My Nintendo. Still, Miitomo doesn't seems especially interesting.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)
Did anyone NOT expect this to score highly?
@Soren Just because it isn't what YOU wanted doesn't mean it isn't a Fire Emblem game.
Re: Cult SNES Hero Plok Stars In Another Action-Packed Comic Book
Plok himself looks cool. I'll have to check the game out, I guess.
