This is actually quite a fun little app. Shame it'll be dismissed by many as being pointless.

I loved Megamix, so I'm quite inclined to pick this up to see what earlier entries were like. Perhaps DS will come to VC, if it hasn't already?

No problems for me. Pre-ordered with the Official UK Store, received it a day before launch, and I've had fun since.

I like this game a lot; I decided to join the hype and buy 10 plays, netting myself the Mario Kart 8 theme!

Given that the packaging explicitly states that the device only comes with 1 controller, I expect this was just a review bundle in normal packaging to save time.

It's too open for my tastes. It just feels boring not running into many enemies. The physics are great and the visuals/music are fantastic. Perhaps making the game slightly more linear may actually help it in the long run.

Strangely enough, it's one of only 5 games that sold over 10,000 units. I think the gaming industry is really slowing in Japan, however, I don't think this chart include digital sales, which is where a lot of sales could've come from.

It'll probably do better towards Christmas. It is a strange entry in the series, though one I like.

The title says enough. Don't turn into TheBitBlock and end up disappointed by being hyped by fantastical concepts.

That's all I can think of. They'll definitely make money from Super Mario Run, and Pokemon Sun and Moon will definitely drive sales. Mario Maker 3DS will probably have a modest number of sales and Picross 3D: Round 2... well, it'll probably sell poorly, even though I love the original.

Who cares about the investors? The general consensus is that it seems neat, so, it's all good. It's been the #1 Trending video on YouTube for well over 24 hours, it's amassed a large number of views, and it has an excellent like-dislike bar - it's been a great reveal, all things considered!

Seems like a neat bundle. I like the shade of green and the box art. Asides from that, there's not much else I can say; hopefully it comes to Europe.

@YouSeemFRAZZLED Nintendo have actually been pushing for third-parties to announce their titles first, as Nintendo won't be talking about their own works until 2017.

@A01 I'd guess it's in one of the Joy Con controllers, since you'll almost always be using them.

Nice to hear about the amiibo - I would've been shocked if they dropped one of their most successful ventures as of late.

Still, it's nice to see the game get the remaster it deserves. Based on screenshots I've seen, the game looks gorgeous. Pair that with a great soundtrack, engaging plot and you've got a great game, even if many consider it one of the weaker entries in the series.

Nope. It's a livestream to merely show people the console in action for the first time; it's not revealing anything new about it, since we now already know all about the thing anyway.

Nothing for me right now, but I'll probably pick up both Star Rush and Color Splash in the near future (probably some time around Christmas). That My Nintendo discount for Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories is tempting, but I'd have to confirm if I can buy the game this month before getting the discount.

Not a bad week overall though, with two big releases, a nice bunch of Nindie games and a nice set of discounts. Shame this'll probably be one of the last good weeks in the year (the only weeks that'll gain any attention will be those with Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Picross 3D Round 2 and Super Mario Maker for 3DS).

The emulation looks fantastic, the UI looks fabulous, and the inclusion of the filters are great. Well worth my £49.99 pre-order.

Nice. I'll get around to picking up Heist, since I really enjoyed Dig. Hopefully they can make another great instalment or some DLC, whether it's for Wii U, 3DS or NX.

I know people will claim that the emulator can be used for homebrew, but honestly, can you name any homebrew N64 games? I can't.

Still, hopefully this gets removed. Go spend the 10 bucks on a well-emulated alternative — the eShop.

Whilst I believe that FAST Racing NEO is a great game that everyone should pick up, I found it too frustrating to truly enjoy. Still, I might pick up the DLC, only because I want to support the company.

Good week overall. Phoenix Wright DLC for me, since I've been waiting for Turnabout Time Traveller for quite some time.

Meh. Couldn't care less for any of these except WarioWare. Whilst I still love Game & Wario (especially Gamer, since it's super unique and most resembles the classic titles, and the Miiverse-enabled mode, they make for a good time no matter what), I do believe that a more classic entry is overdue.

Nice. I really like this game, so it's really good to hear that it's available for more people to get. Even if you're not a Zelda fan, this is still one entry you shouldn't miss; if you're new to Picross entirely, this is a nice entry to start on, even if it does get challenging quickly.

Picross has always worked better on handhelds than on consoles because of the pick-up-and-play nature of the series. You might do one on the train, then one during a lunch break, or in between long gaming sessions.

On consoles, the SNES Mario Picross games aren't even that good, as they suffer from awkward controls and the numbers were often too small to see.
