I saw the movie yesterday. I like it way better than the first one. Not as overstuffed. It is more focused, imo. They rushed some stories though or they didn't give enough time to flesh out. The story of Rosalina and Peach makes more sense than the games. I give it a solid 8. The first movie was like 6 to me.

While I respect each other's opinions, some were just close-minded they prefer only the games because they either hate the movie or they hate Illumination (and Disney/Hollywood designs in general). I think they did a great job, especially with Shigeru Miyamoto and co. being hands-on in/with the movie production.

On the designs between the movies and and the games: I'm 50-50 like the results of the poll at 1,000 to 1,200+ votes. Most of the main characters and the big ones looks better in the movie. On the other hand, most of the side characters are still better on the games. The exception is for the post credit character. Maybe we need to see more on the 3rd film.

I'll probably get it when it's 40 or 50 just like I did on all Nintendo Switch Editions and sell my Switch 1 versions.

I agree. Just like the first movie. Too much stuff, too much characters. It's not like they'll only make 3 movies total they have to fit all Mario characters in it.

It would be funny if Microsoft will stop bringing all their games from their different studios to Playstation when HexBox releases.

I couldn't agree more. Either get the generation pack now if you want all 3 or wait 3 years to get it waaay cheaper. Waiting a year from now would only save you around 10 bucks. The Generation Pack is just such a good deal.

Holy heck. I did not expect this to be getting 9s and 10s reviews elsewhere. I might get it down the line when it's cheaper (around 50 bucks or less).

Also I don't mind this on GKC. It's a game that continues to be updated, right?

Same. My kids and I played NSBU and 3DWorld to death but Wonder didn't hold our interests/attention for long. But I'll still get the Switch 2 physical edition when it's 50 bucks.

Just like many Switch 2 editions I already have, I'll wait until I can get it for 50 bucks or less and get rid of my Switch 1 edition for 30-40.

I'm not really a fan of Capcom-made amiibos. They look cheap. I skipped the MH ones. I might skip this as well unless I can get them cheaper (less than 20 bucks).

I think you're right. I've watched in my phone earlier. Now I just watched in an OLED TV and it's almost the same as Fallout 4 and ES4 in terms of animations but has only better scenery.

I lost my Switch 1 physical copy. I might get this one if it gets released physically in non-GKC cartridge. Else I'll just go digital when it's 50% off and never lose it again.

How is this better looking than Fallout 4 and Oblivion? 😅

I'll check the prices and graphical differences between NS1 and NS2 versions if it's worth going NS2 this time.

But I got DQ 1&2 on Switch 1 because of DQ 3 being on Switch 1 and is on cartridge.

I was tempted to get one set. But I skimmed through the games list and only found BotW and TotK to be worth it. Everything else I want, I got them cheaper physical versions. Also I already got both Zelda games on Switch 1 and on Switch 2 so I don't really need them digitally.

I'll surely buy this on Game Key Card. Less hassle lending it to my kids later on than getting it digitally. I'm glad this is a good port.

What I understood in the previous article, Furukawa said they are monitoring the situation and theey don't want to increase the price as much as possible because they don't want to "derail" the launch momentum.

I think we may get a price increase on the next revision or after the console hits 1 year.

Why are some upset if they're not gonna buy it it anyway. If you wanted it, you had half a year to do so. And haters are gonna be upset for others' sake and not for them, lol.

I bought the bundle for 480 so the game is well worth it. MKWorld is something my family will play for the rest of the Switch 2's life cycle. It will be continuously updated, patched, will receive future DLCs, etc. so I might as well get it digitally.

Best thing about the TGA this year! I can't wait! Now we'll see if I'll get it on Switch 2 or PS5 (or PS6!).

So it's going to be free for those who have the programmable NFC amiibo gadgets? Amiibos at this point are just collectible figurines with bonus in-game unlocks. I don't even use them unless it unlocks permanent costumes.

Disappointed. Won't be getting until there's Splatoon or Metroid-like gyro aiming.

I want them all but I can live without. So I'll just get them when they're 33-50% off.

It's teased in the post credit credits scene of the first movie so I'm not really surprised. And the design is @Yosher -approved so it shouldn't be a concern. 😅

They crammed too many things in the first movie though with very little characters buildup or growth so I'm worried they will make the same mistake again on the sequel.

Galaxy is too soon imo it should be on the 4th movie. I wish the first movie is on "Mario Land" at first. Expand with the koopalings and more characters in the mushroom Kingdom on the second movie. Then with DK characters, Daisy, Wario Waluigi, Pauline, and more in the Mario World on the third movie with all the Mario Karting.

I've been lurking since 2013 under another account when I was deciding to go back again to console gaming. I've played G&W, FamiCom, MegaDrive, SNES, GameBoy, & PS1 during the 80s & 90s before going full PC in my college days.

I eventually got the Wii U on November 2013 over the then releasing PS4 thanks to infos from you NL and from your sister sites PS & PX. The gyro aiming (I'm bad with analog sticks), my first born old enough to hold a controller, and the Nintendo catalog were the deciding factors for me to get the Wii U. Here's to more years together! 😁

Great! There was a bug on my ARMS play activity since I sent one of my 2017 Switch console which had a blue screen for repairs. When I migrated to a new console, the "time played" remained 50+ hours and it has never changed since then. Glad to see the comprehensive stats in the new app.
