It is in fact confirmed that the events of Isolation happened 5 years prior to the events of Romulus.

Both Isolation and Romulus are canon to the Alien universe. You can look it up yourself. Romulus itself references Alien Isolation too.

And the movie ALIENS references Amanda Ripley (protagonist in Alien Isolation), Ellen Ripley's daughter

So canonically,

2122 — Alien

2137 — Alien: Isolation

2142 — Alien: Romulus

2179 — Aliens

@BaldB3lper78 It's because the first game came out on Switch so even if the sequel may or may not appear on Switch 2, it is still something noteworthy to right about. Z

Also there aren't any confirmed platforms announced by them although PS5, PC and Xbox Series is a safe bet ofc.

If Amanda Ripley (Ripley Jr) is the protagonist, then it should be set right before Aliens as Amanda Ripley is dead by the time the events of Aliens occur.

How is Digimon in general? Is it good? I never played a Digimon game.

Honestly don't know if this will come to Switch 2 but glad we're finally getting a sequel to this game.

@johnedwin Idk about that but they adapted the book Battle Royale into a classic, legendary masterpiece that released in 2000. I love that movie when I first watched it (last year actually)

80 USD is somewhat not as surprising as I thought. It kinda made sense. You get the base game + the expansion pack + some other goodies into one.

@rockyourownium Except Elden Ring is indeed a port and was never launched on the original Switch.

Fromsoft games aren't well optimized in general but the Tarnished Edition is looking to be much better these days. Hope we get a release date.

My too high unrealistic expectations:

1. Okami sequel full reveal and trailer with platforms announced at least (hopefully Switch 2 is one which I think it MIGHT be)

2. Okami HD getting a Switch 2 update (doesn't really need it per say but it would be a lot more nicer in handheld mode natively)

3. Okamiden HD port

@hcfwesker there weren’t any updates to it but I was thinking that it would have still improved resolution and frame rate somewhat.

@RenanLK Saw a tech breakdown of it. Yeah the hair does look a lot better. As for performance, it mostly is the same or it got a little better. Hopefully they add a frame cap eventually.

@JaxonH Pretty much their current portfolio basically. The new Onimusha game is bound to come to Switch 2 eventually (the game still doesn't have a release date).

I do expect RE2, RE3, and RE4 remakes to come to Switch 2 as well along with the Okami sequel as well (I feel that one is pretty much a given considering how well the Okami HD port sold on the original Switch)

@Anachronism pretty sure Fromsoft games have technical issues in general. Elden Ring is no exception.

@Diaclone_Dad I think its because you played it after the PC version. PC version is more smoother than Switch 2 version.

They're BOTH playable, just one is a little bit more better

@the_beaver You know I did the same exact thing as you except I wrote in "locked frame rate option" 2 to 3 times in that one survey.

@Diaclone_Dad There were frame drops way before the update so idk how you didn't notice it before hand.

All the update did was fix some bugs and improve some areas in performance. Doesn't mean its 100% done.

The PS5 version also had the film grain issue. Not sure if it got fixed. The problem wasn’t there in the Switch 2 demo.

But seriously, Koei Tecmo seems to be pretty bad at optimizing games.

@Dang_69 nah you’re not crazy, I saw a tech video and it did say there are frame rate issues in handheld mode in some places.

Still playable mind you but it’s noticeable.

I played it. It looks great.

As for performance wise, I feel like during cutscenes it does dip a bit. Gameplay wise it runs pretty ok.

@Megas75 it will come eventually. Later this year or next year but they’re definitely going to be on Switch 2.
