I think Gen AI can be useful but there are obviously pros and cons. I personally think that there should be little usage of Gen AI. Doesn’t mean they should not use Gen AI, but shouldn’t be dependent on it either.

@fersama all I said was it shouldn’t be surprising if it was at 30 FPS. Never said it couldn’t run at 60.

@MARl0 it’s only in the US though. Australia version remains uncensored. Sony tends to censor games all over regions while Nintendo censors it in certain regions.

@OorWullie I saw a video regarding input lag on the Switch version of it. I am not sure if that has been fixed or what not. Hopefully a Switch 2 edition would fix that.

I might wait on this for a sale and to see if this runs really well. If it doesn't run well, I'll stick to Autosport.

@OorWullie Speaking of which, a Switch 2 version of Alien Isolation and maybe Grid Autosport would be SWEET as well.

So Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem (made by Capcom) are both graphically intensive games and are both coming to Switch 2 at launch. But a LEGO game which isn't as graphically intensive is coming later to Switch 2 and not at launch????

@fersama In the case of Persona 3 Reload, it is using Unreal Engine iirc (which is usually pretty problematic) and the fact that it is a 9th gen game, it shouldn't be surprising if that game is 30 FPS on Switch 2 (which is essentially a 8.5 gen console which is a slightly more powerful than a PS4).

Skyrim tho? Yeah you're right. This should have been 60 but either the developer is too lazy to optimize it or it's an engine issue (Creation Engine is used for Skyrim and the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6) OR it's both.

@libersolis I think in a lot of cases like this, it is usually the developer. Bethesda is notorious for optimization issues on their games. Same with Fromsoftware with ER: Tarnished edition.

That being said CDPR managed a decent port of Cyberpunk and Ubisoft also managed to deliver Outlaws and Shadows in a decent standard.

@DTfearTheBEARD I mean Fallout 4 is a PS4 era game so.. it wouldn't be shocking if it was 30 FPS on Switch 2.

I think they picked Grace Ashcroft one mainly because the Switch 2 box art size is way smaller than the PS and Xbox one.

THIS IS A XBOX 360 AND PS3 GAME. It should run well on Switch 1 and 2.

Rise of the Tomb Raider should run well too on Switch 1 and 2.

Shadow is the problem though. I think that one will be Switch 2 only.

@somnambulance I mean Brie wanted to be in a Metroid movie and play as Samus. But since that isn't happening afaik, she got the Rosalina role. Either way they're both from Nintendo and she loves Nintendo a lot.

@OldManAdrius Rosalina is being voiced by Brie Larson and she loves Nintendo so her being in a Nintendo movie makes so much sense.

It could be a horror game exclusively for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 but considering it is coming to Switch 1, it may either not be a graphically demanding one or its not a horror game at all.

@OldManHermit That makes no sense. There are zombies in Requiem and also the Umbrella Corporation has some involvement (probably old Umbrella). And from the trailers, it doesn't look like there is any mention about the events in 7 and 8.

Plus its taking place in Raccoon City iirc. So I don't think the megamycete has much relevance. If this was a direct sequel, then the protagonist will probably be Chris Redfield.

@Spider-Kev Just saying but I don't think 7 and 8 are relevant to RE9UIEM much. Seems to me RE9UIEM is a standalone sequel more or less.

But yeah, its up to you if you want to play 7 and 8 before.
