@Ryu_Niiyama Capcom is prioritizing Wilds for the time being. By the time the next MH expansion comes, then they will shift focus to possibly another portable entry.

@Ralizah It also has to do with the engine. The RE engine isn't well optimized and isn't a great engine for open-world games. If you remember, Dragon's Dogma 2 also suffered this same issue.

I am starting to doubt that MH Wilds can even run on Switch 2. I think a new portable MH for Switch 2 is the best option instead.

@Moonlessky I mean they did do digital sale last time. Maybe they will do it this time this year hopefully.

@Enigk MY EXCUSE is that I am waiting for that new Mario Kart game they announced for Switch 2.

Also I'm probably planning on getting Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. I have been holding out on that for some time.

Nintendo is different from Xbox and PlayStation. Xbox and PlayStation are all subsidiaries of two bigger companies (Microsoft and Sony) and those 2 companies have other businesses as well as gaming. For Nintendo it is only gaming and entertainment. They're pure entertainment.

Sony has to port their games to PC because their games cost way too much money to make so they're trying to recuperate the money lost that they spent on ONE game hence the PC ports. Spider-Man 2 came to PC much earlier than usual. Only like a year later.

This looks really good ngl. I hope it runs well on Switch because I want to get it. Along with Shinobi ofc which also looks AMAZING.

Personally for me just bring Forza to Switch 2 and I'll be happy. Its all I really want from Xbox for now.

@Don Could be false, could be real who knows. I think its a 50-50 since TPC will make a lot of money of a Pokémon Classics Compilation of Gen 1-3 if they charge full price for it and THEY KNOW that people want it. So I say 50-50. Could happen, could not happen.

If it does happen, then maybe next year would make sense since its Pokémon's 30th anniversary next year.

@spottedleaf Pretty much yeah. Personally for me this Pokémon Presents, I'm not expecting much on the Switch front really apart from Legends ZA and idk maybe some classics coming to Switch (But Idk about that one).

Probably just ZA realistically for Switch. I would like a classic collection released on Switch but honestly I don’t know.

Well seems no Nintendo Direct after all. But tbh, I do wonder what to care for the Pokémon presents thing.

I do want to get into a Pokémon game but the Switch doesn’t have any good options. Apart from Let’s Go Pikachu which iirc has some control mechanism which I hope I can play in handheld and docked. Also Legends ZA looks interesting but I do hope of ports of like older games but will never happen.

@Ralizah Well hope it runs well on Switch because I am tempted on buying this game just to support the developers. Also I liked the first Danganronpa game so this seems right up my alley.

Yeah remastered games are important. Especially when it’s something thats really old so you bring it over to modern audiences to try it out. But then ofc there is something like Days Gone Remastered.

Well can we get a port of Okamiden to Switch?

Nintendo started off with hanafuda so I am not surprised too much. Glad they still have it.

@Zeebor15 also its spelled "Hanafuda" not "Hanaduda" (first paragraph). Also I believe there is only Mario Hanafuda because since its their main mascot but I agree there should be a Zelda, FE, Metroid, AC, etc hanafuda cards.

@Cathalm Idk if it is true that they are actually indeed going after the designs or not if they just said its patent infringement. If it was indeed that they are going after designs, then well it is more understandable. But we're not too sure if they are going after the designs.

I like the art-style of this game and the gameplay. I hope it runs well on Switch because I MIGHT be tempted to buy the digital deluxe edition. Maybe they will release a demo for this to try out eventually.

We got 3 ninja games this year. And 2 of them are coming to Switch.

Shinobi is coming to Switch as well.

The rumors say that Switch 2 will probably be aiming a bit more than PS4 performance and more close to Series S in power. If it runs well on Series S, then maybe it could come to Switch 2 .

However that being said, it’s also possible the game won’t come to Switch 2. The game is really demanding on PS5 and they even had to roll back the PC requirements a bit.

It most likely will come to Switch 2. Whether day and date with other platforms remains to be seen. Okami HD actually sold the most on Switch 1 I think. Plus the art style and stuff shouldn’t be too demanding for Switch 2.

That said, can we get an Okamiden port to Switch?

Well there is a 150 million plus Switch 1 users so you gotta do something. I say maybe start porting the 3DS library soon.

Never played Castlevania but I will start trying to play it IF SOTN comes to Nintendo Switch.

And if the new one comes to Switch 2, I'll give it a shot.
