@Cathalm Idk if it is true that they are actually indeed going after the designs or not if they just said its patent infringement. If it was indeed that they are going after designs, then well it is more understandable. But we're not too sure if they are going after the designs.

I like the art-style of this game and the gameplay. I hope it runs well on Switch because I MIGHT be tempted to buy the digital deluxe edition. Maybe they will release a demo for this to try out eventually.

We got 3 ninja games this year. And 2 of them are coming to Switch.

Shinobi is coming to Switch as well.

The rumors say that Switch 2 will probably be aiming a bit more than PS4 performance and more close to Series S in power. If it runs well on Series S, then maybe it could come to Switch 2 .

However that being said, it’s also possible the game won’t come to Switch 2. The game is really demanding on PS5 and they even had to roll back the PC requirements a bit.

It most likely will come to Switch 2. Whether day and date with other platforms remains to be seen. Okami HD actually sold the most on Switch 1 I think. Plus the art style and stuff shouldn’t be too demanding for Switch 2.

That said, can we get an Okamiden port to Switch?

Well there is a 150 million plus Switch 1 users so you gotta do something. I say maybe start porting the 3DS library soon.

Never played Castlevania but I will start trying to play it IF SOTN comes to Nintendo Switch.

And if the new one comes to Switch 2, I'll give it a shot.

@Scarmucci it probably won’t unless they go directly from PRC. Because Nintendo also has a factory in Vietnam iirc. So if the Switch 2’s do get manufactured in Vietnam, then it can bypass the tariffs most likely.

It’s a great name. Also a very genius name. Now majority of the people won’t think it’s an add-on, rather it will be a new console. Similar to what PlayStation did, Nintendo did the same .

@konicstar I doubt Capcom's got anything to show for the original Switch. They're probably planning on showing more things for the Switch 2.

That being said my hope of a Resident Evil PS1 trilogy will continue to remain.

@solarwolf07 No they did not. They announced a Switch 2 Direct for April though.

Nintendo usually does have a Direct of SOME KIND in February so I think there is a 60-70% of that happening. Its just when will it happen is the question.

EDIT: But I will say one thing about this presentation if it does happen, Silksong will not be there.

@MrCarlos46 maybe who knows. Maybe Panic Button might find a way to fit it on Switch 2 while making sure it’s still fun to play.

@rvcolem1 Forza Motorsport will be much closer to Gran Turismo in terms of similarity. Forza Horizon is open world and arcade racing. Gran Turismo doesn't have anything like Horizon.

@Bigmanfan Lets wait and see first if the game is coming to Switch 2 since it ain't confirmed because Nintendo probably forbid developers from announcing games for Switch 2 until April. I give it a 70-80% chance of coming to Switch 2. If Panic Button is handling the port to Switch 2, then maybe they will figure out a way to make it fit for Switch 2. But yeah maybe Microsoft will link Xbox controllers to PS5 and Switch 2 consoles or maybe make Switch 2 compatible controllers (PS5 doesn't need one personally)

@rvcolem1 Forza Horizon 5 is arcade-racing.

@Bigmanfan Mario Kart 8 also has tilt controls iirc. And I tried with Asphalt 9 and it isn't horrible. Its pretty okay for the most part.

The GameCube controller for Nintendo Switch has 2 analogue triggers so you could use that. For regular Switch controllers, idk. Maybe hopefully one day we could sync up Xbox controllers to Nintendo Switch 2. Also if Panic Button is porting this to Switch 2, they may have something in mind to make it work.

@Bigmanfan I doubt it will have analogue triggers. Other racing games are on Switch and like its playable with digital triggers but I agree that it isn't ideal.

Unless there is some other way we haven't taught of, I got nothing. Maybe tilt controls like they did for Asphalt 9?

Xbox should eventually go 3rd party at this point. Forza was a staple and they're giving it away to competitors. I expect FH5 to come to Switch 2.

Still waiting to see if there are other indie games that interest me.

Haven't played Hollow Knight and all but I sympathize with Silksong fans. I do hope you don't need to play Hollow Knight in order to play Silksong.

Say whatever you want about Ubisoft, but they are pretty enthusiastic when it comes to supporting new systems. And it seems they will support the Switch 2 quite nicely. After all, they were one of the best 3rd party developers on Switch 1.
