Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Team Open To More DLC: "Tell Us What You Want"

Zacattack99

  • Voices for DLC racers, even if it’s generic interactions that can apply to any character.
  • Upgrade the Crossworlds into full-on Tracks (even if they are abruptly edited to make a full lap)
  • More tracks from the earlier Sonic Racing titles:
    • Green Hill (based on Sonic Drift)
    • Rainy Savannah (based on Sonic Drift 2)
    • Metal City/Night Chase (from Sonic Riders)
    • Gigan Rocks/Gigan Device (from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity)

Re: EVO Reveals Its Fighting Roster For 2024

Zacattack99

@Azami likely because of the partnership with PANDA Global at the time, as well as the general disgust surrounding competive Smash and EVO in general post-2020. (you know, the scandals that came out about abuse and the like) That's also in addition to Tournaments playing a game of tug o' war with Nintendo over the use of mods and emulators with Melee (AKA The Big House 2020 and SaveMelee)

Recently the GM of EVO has praised Nintendo's new licensing program, so maybe there's a sliver of a chance Ultimate might make a comeback in 2025.

Re: Gotham Knights Has Been Rated For Nintendo Switch

Zacattack99

I’m going to be shocked if it is indeed possible that Gotham Knights got optimized to heck and back on Switch.

@anoyonmus’s claims check out about this NOT being a cloud release. This might also contain all the DLC as well; because the same listing also states the following:

“In-Game Purchases (PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5)”

Re: Sonic Origins Plus Officially Announced For June, Adds Amy And 12 Game Gear Games

Zacattack99

I feel like they should of done more with this, perhaps will see this added to an "Sonic Origins Ultimate" (hypothetically)

  • Sonic Spinball (Genesis)
  • Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis/Saturn)
  • Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis)
  • Sonic Championship/The Fighters (Arcade)
  • SegaSonic The Hedgehog (Arcade)
  • Knuckles Chaotix (Genesis 32X)
  • Playable Mighty The Armadillo, Ray The Flying Squirrel, Vector The Crocodile, Espio The Chamilion, Charmy Bee, and Metal Sonic in addition to Amy
  • The Entirety of Sonic Mania Plus

Re: Poll: Is The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Good Enough Value Yet?

Zacattack99

What I hope for this service:

  • TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine - Nintendo Switch Online for Expansion Pack subscribers
  • includes DLC for TETRIS 99, Luigi’s Mansion 3, PAC-MAN 99, and Splatoon 3
  • Game Boy | Game Boy Color - Nintendo Switch Online for Base NSO subscribers
  • Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online
    for Base NSO subscribers
  • Nintendo GameCube - Nintendo Switch Online for Expansion Pack subscribers

would leave a list of games: but that made this too long to be posted all at once; so I opted for a Twitlonger instead:

Re: Poll: What’s Your Favourite New Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Track In Wave 2?

Zacattack99

Tour Sydney Sprint, Tour New York Minute & N64 Kalamari Desert are the standouts to me in terms of how they utilized their layouts.

GBA Snow Land is a good track to bring back.

Mario Circuit 3 is OK.

Sky High Sundae is fine, at least it used Anti-Gravity.

Wii Mushroom Gorge does nothing new.

DS Waluigi Pinball not only breaks tradition of not reusing music from DS Wario Stadium, but fails to utilize anti-gravity to add to the chaos, thus is the worst of the bunch and is totally overrated.

Sydney Sprint is the best.

Re: Soapbox: Why Can't Nintendo Offer Both Virtual Console And Switch Online?

Zacattack99

I kinda need to share this article by Seafoam Gaming about the death of the Virtual Console as we knew it

https://seafoamgaming.com/2021/10/19/virtual-chronicle-the-death-of-piecemeal-and-the-rise-of-retro-compilations/

Simply put; it was also a dripfeed, only it’s a dripfeed that is made up of multiple piecemeal purchases, back when third parties didn’t realize the profit that came from compilations and their own standalone eShop releases. Heck, you can thank SEGA for the $50 annual price for the Expansion Pack, considering they weren’t satisfied with their own investment in Virtual Console on Wii & 3DS.

Fundamentally speaking; I think NSO (Expansion Pack and all) is a overall better value, considering games like Banjo-Kazooie, Star Fox, and Stunt Race FX are all now available to a wider Nintendo audience. Not to mention there’s at least an effort to make these games more readily available.

Re: The Pokémon Creative Team Has Been "Through A Lot" With Angry Fan Feedback

Zacattack99

I hardly got into Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, X, Y, Moon, Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee, Sword & Shield because of RPGs in general with me.

Now it’s difficult to go into, and play Pokémon more than ever because fans constantly an aneurism because expectations for said game weren’t met when a new game is announced.

Even back then; I knew dexxit was overblown.

I insert a quote from Lockstin about “ Suck and Mega Suck” but I forget what is was exactly…

Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 100 Classic Games

Zacattack99

@Papichulo, Capcom already released the Mega Man games via the Legacy collections, Sonic & Bonk aren’t even on the SNES, Konami already released Castlevania Anniversary collection, and it’s only a matter of time before Square-Enix rereleases the older Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games in a overpriced manner.

It isn’t Nintendo’s memory that’s at fault. Blame that on licensing and license holders finding supposedly better offers.
