Nothing for me here. Now, if only there was a sale from Ubisoft once in a while...
@stinky_t not sure if sarcasm, Ubisoft sales seem to happen at least monthly here.🤔
Alas, nothing for me either.
Nothing for me here except for Battle for Bikini Bottom. Though I'm still looking for a physical copy. If I cannot find it I'll go for the sale
@nhSnork yep. Not sure what the comments was about. I always see sales from them.
De Blob (wii game) on Switch? Didn't knew that... . @stinky_t ghehe
Might get Kingdoms of Amalur. Having it on a hybrid would be pretty cool.
@stinky_t they, Bamco and Capcom never discount their games on Switch. It's ridiculous!
@nhSnork I believe that was sarcasm based on the frequency of Ubisoft sales.
The de Blob series seriously owns and people should play it.
Already bought DeBlob 1 & 2, and Legend of Kay: Anniversary for $30 USD.
10 years huh. THQ Nordic has really changed the game...NOT! What? 2 new shoddy Darksiders games and Bio-Mutant?? Which still has performance issues. Then about 20 ports. It's time to step it up guys.
@nhSnork I was thinking about the possibility of a Capcom sale!
Also, sarcasm.
@Poodlestargenerica yeah, Mario + Rabbids and Crypt of the Necrodancer are two other games that never get discounted and both of them have been out forever. It's absurd!
Release the classic Timesplitters games, you ninnies.
A powerful list of 7/10 games there. Nobody does 7/10 quite as consistently as THQ Nordic
@SSGodLink Yep, totally agree. They pump out a ridiculous amount of games each year, so many thait it seems quality porting is the least of their concerns.
Just seeing their name attached to a game is enough to put me off.
A while back I bought Chronos physically, and I first hated it, then tried again on the easiest mode, loved it, did a second zero-death run, did a 5-ish-death run on medium, and a single death run on medium. It's a beautiful world, just scary enough to make advancing tense yet not want to stay in place, just nice enough to make me enjoy taking it all in and wondering what's next. The combat is fun (once you spend more time fighting and advancing than dying, loading, and doing it all over again), the puzzles and exploration are fun, all weapons are purely a choice within two classes, nothing is truly weaker or stronger, just different in use,... It just has terrible load times and you need to get the hang of combat without constantly dying. 'Easy' is a great way to do that. I'd say it's really underrated.
De Blob was an instant classic on Wii, that only needed a jump button instead of a jump motion, so I'd suppose it's great on Switch.
@Branovices Tecnically, it's their sister publisher, Deep Silver, that's responsible for Timesplitters.
@OorWullie And you know it's funny. I still always want to be excited about what they're doing. I hold out hopes that maybe there will be a breakthrough title or something. After a decade though, I think it's a moot point. Hey they have the Timesplitters IP rights so maybe, just maybe something positive will happen there.
Sphinx is awesome
It’s easy to brush by THQ Nordic stuff but Battlechasers: Nightwar was a really nice surprise.
Played the original Darksiders when it first came out. Remember enjoying for the most part, but skipped the sequels. This sale motivated me to buy and try Darksiders Genesis, and have been enjoying it. Maybe because I haven't played 100 similar games. The art is pretty amazing IMO. Played and enjoyed Battle Chasers: Nightwar a while back as well. Same developer Airship Syndicate.
I would get DAH but It hardly got a price cut so.
