Mine is Mushroom Gorge for nostalgia reasons, but Waluigi Pinball is also stellar
Honestly I’m really impressed by Sydney Sprint, Tour is the only Mario Kart game I’ve not played, so it’s brand new to me. Way more fun and interesting than Tokyo Blur & New York Minute.
Snow Land music is stuck in my head please send help
1. snow land
2. sky high sundae
3. waluigi pinball
4. sydney
5. mario circuit 3
6. mushroom gorge
7. new york
8. kalamari desert
Great to see my country [Australia] included in this one. I have never played Mario Kart Tour but am looking forward to playing the Sydney track - my home city! I had to vote for this one. 🇦🇺
Waluigi Pinball and Sky High FTW. I love the seizure inducing color blurs they turn into on 200CC
Sydney Sprint as that 2nd lap is a marathon! It’s still not as good as Ninja Hideaway imo
Also Vancouver Velocity was datamined as well so Ninja Hideaway might be knocked off the podium of my favourite track in the Pass
Sky-high Sundae is a thrilling roller coaster of a course, and I love all its ups and downs!
Honestly, New York Minute looks cool and is actually pretty fun! I especially love the music, it’s like Cuphead meets racing game
@xavieruniverse SAAAME, that one’s music goes hard
Definitely Kd, waluigis pinball, and sky high.
Sky high is definitely up there on my favorite stage list, sure the colors are bright as hell, but I just love the flow of the whole thing.
sydney has some of the best music Ive ever heard in a game
3rd. Sydney Sprint. 2nd lap marathon.
2nd: Kalahari Desert. Music with the wild west horns and going inside the tunnel with the train in the second and last lap.
1st. Snow Land. Music, penguins, no more Camera shake, penguins, tricky course to handle but with the right handling you'll have fun. And of course, the toads are dressed for the occasion! Took the worst course to the best course.
Very rare that I like an ice stage, but dang if Snow Land doesn’t rock my socks. The ambiance is surprisingly strong. I think it caught me off guard because it was a GBA remake and those tend to be tame.
Voted Sydney Sprint, even though Waluigi Pinball is the best. Sydney is a new track for me, so that tips it over. Mario Circuit 3 would be my third choice.
Sydney Sprint for me, because it's just a fun track and the music is actually really great. And hey, you know me, I can't help but love the Yoshi signage the course has. Sky High Sundae has those too but that track and music isn't quite as good. Still decent though.
I liked what they did with Kalimari desert, how they make you take the train tracks, but the new remix they did is awful.
Mushroom Gorge is a classic and probably what I'd cite as my favorite out of these.
Snow Land! I always love to see the 2D tracks brought to life with creative freedom. To me it feels the most like a track that could have been in Mario Kart 8 all along.
If Waluigi Pinball weren't in this I'd say Sydney Sprint. I really love the music of this track, the setting (kinda weird to call a real world city a setting), and the track itself is pretty fun too especially round 2
I can't select any of the bottom 4 tracks. NL has rigged this 😉
In my opinion,
1st: mushroom gorge
2nd: waluigi pinball
3rd: Sydney sprint
4th: Mario circuit 3
5th: New York minute
6th: sky high sundae
7th: Kalamari desert
8th: snow land
I'm shocked by how much I love New York Minute. Mushroom City/Moonview Highway are two of my favorite tracks, and New York Minute surprisingly fills that void in my heart for a fun nighttime city course. (Sorry, Toad's Turnpike--I don't like you.)
I can't believe I'm part of only 1 percent that voted for New York Minute, lol. Maybe the honeymoon period will wear off and I'll just think it's average or something. But it's the only real-world city track so far that really resonates with me. Paris was okay, and Tokyo kinda sucked, to be honest. Honestly, Sundae Speedway is probably my least favorite of the bunch. It's not bad, though.
Not sure how I feel about the changes to Kalamari Desert just yet. Mushroom Gorge also feels a little off, but it could just be me. Mushroom Gorge has always been one of my favorites though, and of course Waluigi Pinball is really good. Snow Land is beautiful. SNES circuits give me a lot of nostalgia, so I'm glad to see the original Mario Circuit theme finally represented. Pretty solid package all around. Graphics are a step up.
Mario Circuit 3. And because it comes right after NY, a track with changing routes immediately followed up by the wonderful simplicity of MC3, it just works for me.
Kalimari Desert by far. I also love all the ways people misspell it 😂
I like Kalimari Desert, that Sydney track and Waluigi Pinball.
I'm a bit disappointed with Sky-High Sundae. First off all I'm not fond of food-based OR sky-themed levels in video games so it wasn't off a good start in my book. Then I think the verticality of the track could have been so much more spectacular. Take for instance Shy Guy Falls, Mount Wario or Big Blue. In Sky-High Sundae you just jump off ramps for most of the track and never get to have an open view of the course, which feels so little when it could have been epic. The only thing that would make be go back to it (willingly) is the all-antigravity track.
Waluigi Pinball is as fun as ever, and still looks pretty slick even with the DLC’s not-so-great graphics.
Mario circuit and Waluigi pinball are the 2 standout tracks. I was (let me emphasize, WAS!!!) excited for the "sundae" track, it is a jumbled mess that shows that the "designers" at Nintendo forgot how to make a descent track. Maybe next time.
My favorite is Sydney Sprint, but all of them are great!
@BASEDSAKRI Snow Land first?! I see, a person of culture is among us!
Kalimari Desert. Now the train tracks are part of the race.
Tour Sydney Sprint, Tour New York Minute & N64 Kalamari Desert are the standouts to me in terms of how they utilized their layouts.
GBA Snow Land is a good track to bring back.
Mario Circuit 3 is OK.
Sky High Sundae is fine, at least it used Anti-Gravity.
Wii Mushroom Gorge does nothing new.
DS Waluigi Pinball not only breaks tradition of not reusing music from DS Wario Stadium, but fails to utilize anti-gravity to add to the chaos, thus is the worst of the bunch and is totally overrated.
Sydney Sprint is the best.
@Gumbo1995 I know the track is on the basic side but the atmosphere and graphics r so cozy, reminds me of those stair climbing penguin toys from the 90s
Waluigi Pinball, followed closely by New York Minute. Sky High Sundae in 3rd
Pinball. Nothing else is close.
@RobotReptile Ribbon Road wants to have a word…
Sidney sprint for me and waluigi second, but i find all the tracks superb
Question? Why is it that when I am playing the VS mode and I select random tracks and the # of tracks does the game select only things from the old/original track. I cannot seem to get it to pick any of the new ones.
@Big_Fudge I have to agree.
Woah, I'm in the minority here. I really liked the New York track. And Waluigi pinball in close second.
Best music should be part of the poll too. Mine goes to Sydney Sprint and then ofcourse Waluigi pinball
