I want a pikmin dig game from image & form games😁

I was really hoping for some pikmin 4 DLC. The extra missions on pikmin 3 were great!

A set of bookcases and a huge IKEA display stand houses the majority of my retro stuff like my funtastic N64's , with a draw for all the carts under my bed.
All my modern stuff is on a tea trolley of all things (wife loves it and hates seeing my gaming stuff, we compromised) under my TV. I'm allowed a maximum of 3 pads visible or she kicks off😆

This type of extra content should just be free for online subscription ownership. An additional perk for the hardcore Nintendo fans that will probably buy the dlc packs on offer regardless. Let's face it, it's purely novelty fan service!

So torn on this. I've been waiting to upgrade to the OLED model, wanting a nice looking ltd edition version and had Zelda in mind.....but I'm not sure I like the look of it, too much white. Actually think I prefer the Splatoon edition overall, need to make a decision on this, fast!

I don't agree with the sentiment of this article at all. I appreciate nobody deserves hateful back lashes it unjustified criticism...... gaming is an art form that can be put out or received in a subjective manner by anyone. If songwriting can be lazy, art can be basic or design can be too simplistic..... gaming can judged the same in my opinion.
Saying you can't be critical is the same as saying you can't be complimentary remember. If you heap praise on a studio is there not a lazy worker in their office that is the recipient of undue praise they don't deserve. Should we stop giving people praise too to be truly fair and equal?

@NEStalgia I might have a go to be honest, I've done a done of handheld restorations and Ive reconditioned about 50 N64 pads and sticks.....but the screws and wires were much bigger from 90's tech 😉

I have 6 pairs of joy cons ( I like to have all the colours) and thought all the drift issues were down to heavy handling from kids and clumsy people...until one by one over the last 6-12 months I've had sticks start going wrong. On my last pair of working ones now so should send them for repair but I'm all honesty... Might buy the parts third party as I no longer trust Nintendo and their hardware quality. I own a total of 76 Nintendo controllers across various systems and the joy cons are the only ones I've ever had issues with so they clearly have dropped the ball in terms of design or build quality this time.

So what do Nintendo suggest you do if your “anti-scattering adhesive film” gets scratched up and needs replacing? Replace with a screen protector!?!

Wow, didn't know you could check the percentage! I'll have to dust off the Wii U and check out my stats. Remember being a few shrines off Complete and over 300 hours in.

I collect controllers and joy cons. I love the colours of these. HOWEVER, that white is horrible and will be grubby in hours. I could have handled the 'grip' being white but why not the back in the same blue/green as the front 😒

You can't post links to out of stock items like they are available to buy at the price you stated. That xenoblade pro controller had been sold out for over 6 months and the Amazon price is close to £200 now from other sellers. You got me all excited for nothing then Nintendolife, shame on you😔

Still don't have splatoon 2 but it's next on my list. Nice to know that there will be more to play if I get into it like I did the first one 😁

No surprises here for me, still bitter that botw was gimped on Wii u to make the switch version appear superior though. The best Zelda ever could have been 5% better 😤😤😤

Strange how this community seemed more united when the Wii u was struggling compared to this purple patch the switch it going through!

I have fond but painful memories of mastering this game on Wii U. Fantastic title and the combat is sublimely crafted but it takes so much patience to master to a decent level. Very rewarding game when you start to click with it. I'll buy the 3rd one for sure but it would be hell to play game the game with those tiny analogue sticks on the joy cons so I'll play with a real pad I think 🤔

Played this through on Wii U, good game but nothing special. Definitely not a game I'd play through again!

Really want to play the dlc soon but did the game on Wii U and now have a switch. So sad that I can't transfer my save across 😞

Curious to see how this plays out gameplay wise. And of course how it's priced by ubisoft 🤔

Well it looks like they have listened to fan feedback about ultra smash which was an abysmal space filler in launches and an insult to replayability imo. I'm interested but nervous to see how much they have put right 🤔

I think in all honesty the Wii u involved far more invention and progression as a concept but was woefully handled. Nintendo did everything wrong at nearly every stage of its management except make great games.
The switch, for me, does less as I don't take it out of the house and yet cant play 2 screen multiplayer, use as a TV remote, browse the web, watch YouTube or switch screens without walking to the TV. My girlfriend was the one who pointed out when I was getting up to dock the switch and go to the big screen that it seems like a backstep from the convenience of the Wii u and I had no reply tbh.
The biggest thing I miss is the gamepad. I loved it as a pad, using the big screen, inventory management, interactive maps, objective management, no HUD, player 2 screen.....all these things are why the Wii u is firmly my favourite Nintendo console despite my love of the switch.

Nice to see the farcry series back on Nintendo hardware.
Also I'd be keen on a remaster or 2 of older games.bioshock would be fantastic. Red dead 1 would be a great pull if the remaster was exclusive to switch, obviously paving the way for the sequel to appear later possibly.
It has to be franchise's that will make money for the publisher so wont be anything that is already saturated on current options and probably something that hasn't featured on Nintendo hardware previously. Which is an awful lot tbh

I think the Wii U was a better console in almost every way in comparison to he Switch. It's the handling of the console, it's launch, marketing games and support that is different. The Wii u as a concept offered far more to gaming than the switch does. Had Nintendo delivered on what it was aiming to do of course. For example longer WiFi range and multiple gamepad Support WERE supposed to happen and didn't.
The switch is a marketing success but I don't feel its actuality added anything to the market except portability which means zero to me personally......

With a £20 budget on the secret Santa on my gaming group I'm tempted to check this out. Could give me an excuse to add another to my collection 😉

Can you transfer any data from your Wii uto a switch??

Not much for me this week as I don't have a switch yet but bought a ps4 last week so few games to try there before I take the plunge. Still hoping for a bigger memory variant tbh. Or at least a better ltd edition model.

I used to mod and refurbish game boy advance's with backlit screen's. They used to manufacture backlit screen's ready for fitting, I'd buy them online. Then they dried up or got shut down or something and the only way to get the screens was to strip an so 101 screen, which ramped the price up on that model. That's when I stopped, just cost too much🙁

Hope it still makes it to Wii u aswell but doubt it🤔

I like these but I'd have to be pretty flush to add to the cost of a switch when I pick one up. I still wince when I look at the accessory price's 😱😱

Well I like the look of that splatoon pro controller. Not really the pink but I'll live with that as I love the detailing of the splats!!
I might actually start buying accessories now before the console so when I finally get a switch it's less costly and stressful. Spread the pain😂😂

It seems that some people are simply not happy unless they are surrounded by similar views and are not willing to take the time to think of the oppositions right to an opinion. Its a simple matter of human decency to respect another view no matter the comparison to others. The world seems very quick to judge and not so quick to understand at the moment, such a shame🙁

On the Zelda DLC front.....not too bothered by costumes and whilst the hard mode is needed as the game is VERY EASY imo, im unlikely to play the whole thing again in any hurry. I'll wait for more DLC info before I buy. Plus I've not even finished the game on my Wii u yet so no rush😁

I stopped coming on so regular because I was sick of the switch hype train bullying people who weren't on it. I , like many others have an opinion and not a switch which is apparently a BAD thing. Please think before you post. Negative opinions are as valid as any other and Should be respected. Opinion sniping is just disrespectful and shows you don't respect others right to their own opinion, it's just childish.
This community has been very respectful in the past and a pleasure to contribute to but I'm not sure how many times I will return just to see the likes of @SLIGEACH_EIRE get bullied for no reason other than having a different opinion to the 'average' fan. Sad times.

Well it's about bloody time. I've been waiting for news on this for ages. All I needed to know was that it existed and was coming at some point. When this releases, I'll buy a switch 😁

@RainbowGazelle I'm with you on this, they've done nothing special compared to the Wii u launch except market the thing better. I guess they have created enough 'consumer hype' somehow!?!

@gcunit I'm pretty much the same on this exactly. Bought it, played it and really liked the art and feel of the title. Got lost/confused and it got a little frustrating. I've tried to go back to it but hard to refind my enthusiasm now🤔
