@SLIGEACH_EIRE I don't like the flappy design of the ds/sp, it feels ugly in the hands! The perfect gameboy to hold is the original advance imo. That's why I spend loads of time/money retrofitting them with better features rather than get newer hardware o_0
All a matter of preference I guess but carts like these give allot of possible options quite easily....

Wave race, pikmin 4, metroid prime,f zero and I spla2n I in that order.
I still think pikmin 4 should be a Wii u game TBH, the hardware worked perfectly and I'd miss the wiimote and of screen map combo allot!!

I've no interest in pinball at all but I'll grab a couple of tables to try out at a pound-ish!?! Any recommendations people? Was just gonna pick up the walking dead one and another I think....

I don't even play this game but this annoys me! Sets a horrible president imo that games can just be 'switched off' because there isn't enough $$ in it anymore for them regardless of demands.

Why is Nintendo always so boom or bust!?!

OK then.....strange review overall. I was curious to find out about levels/accomplishment information and if there is any sense of progression over time!?!
I've learned that the graphics are basic and the gameplay simple but we all knew that looking at the screen shots already.
If the game is nice and cheap I'll buy to try it but my expectations were never high enough to be disappointed with the negative things mentioned in the review. This is not meant to be anything other than cheap fun imo. It looks like it will meet my expectations in that sense, especially after the updates promised.

@Shiryu I have the second darksiders from the humble bundle but also a huge backlog. Since I have time on my side, is it worth playing the first game(story wise etc.) Before I play the second?

@rjc-32 I was always under the impression that the lag on retro Vc/re-release games was kept the same as the original? ie - so players of the original would have the exact same experience!?!

I don't have a nes in my collection so I'll buy one but I'm not on any rush TBH. It's really not something I'd play much. I already have most of the classics on the vc!

Great week!! I'll get all the Wii u curve digital games I don't have at that price. I don't even need new games but they're a steal at that price!

@RainbowGazelle yeah the whole Mario 2d thing feels a bit plain and bland now compared to other platform games. I got allot more out of dk:tf and Rayman in terms of sheer fun and gameplay value, they were better in every other way too TBH.
The 3d ones always grab my attention but rarely have depth these days except for the endless bonus world's!
I've never had a problem with the controls in a Mario game though to be fair, are they just a bit floaty for you or something?

Looks cool, the puzzle elements looked more appealing than the combat so I hope there is more of the former! I like robot's

Well it's a other week of 'not much happening' but that won't bother me. I've just started xenoblade x and I'm still in the middle of starfox zero (finally starting to click after 10-20hrs of play, I'm giving it a thumbs up for originality and different gameplay angles but it's VERY inaccessible and it SHOULD have a 'simple' controls mode imo) so I really can't complain. My backlog still includes the last half of project zero, splinter cell:blacklist,child of light, Thomas was alone and loads more I forget.........
Too many games to play and loads of football is leaving me ready for the pre NX drought

Dude you just made my day....."I can't believe people would give up control of their country (laws, borders etc.) for free trade. No other country does this."......honestly is the stupidest thing I've read in ages. You do realise there are many other member countries in the eu right? It's not like England and Europe shake hands. Otherwise read up on politics before you post. The world is filled with trade agreements, border responsibility sharing and greater governing. This was just one of many world governing bodies which now won't feature our tiny island, nothing unique there......

Man that REALLY sucks!! I haven't gotten the game yet but I'm genuinely interested in trying out the game at some point. I've got about 2 or 3 backlogged games then I'm free to experiment with the quirky games with mixed reviews like this and rodea:sky soldier for example. I know this game bombed in many ways but I never thought I'd have completely missed the boat only a year later!!!

I was curious, if your collection is mostly cartridge based was it just boxes and packaging that was damaged? In other words, did the hardware etc survive the water physically?
