Re: Nintendo Unveils Two New 3DS Colours for Japan

ULTRA-64

The word colour is spelt wrong numerous times in this article. The poster is Japanese so that's fine but the spelling of colour by a UK website should not be without the u. It's just plain bad grammar!!
Just seen the edit, thanks but you missed one at the bottom

Re: Interview: Humble Bundle Co-Founder John Graham Reflects on the Successful Friends of Nintendo Promotion

The humble bundle was simply amazing all-round!!
Great games,.amazing prices , great community support and sharing galore nothing but positive. I'm made up!!
The only thing I can criticize is the lack of Nintendo games, vc or e shop in general, involved in this bundle. If this becomes a more regular thing then shame on Nintendo if they don't add one of their own!!

Wow, it would be really weird to watch myself as a child playing games. I used to to bounce around the room playing games like Mario 64 or how excited I was when I'd achieve something new in goldeneye like a new cheat unlock. I remember distinctly winning the 'international cup' on ISS-64 at about 2 in the morning staying at my best friends house on a school night and celebrating like Hero's but in mute so his mum didn't tell us of.....hard to sleep when you're buzzing from a big win.....and you're like 9 years old

@MadAussieBloke I'm surprised he's still got room after eating so many statements about "no game droughts this year folks" . I've been Nintendo only for years until I got a PS3 for Christmas of the missus to catch up on some of the games I've missed. Man I've learned allot since then!! Nintendo still make my favourite games but as a business I don't know what the hell they are doing most off the time......

Re: Star Fox Zero's Arcade Mode Is Aimed At "Advanced Users", Claims Shigeru Miyamoto

ULTRA-64

@Freeon-Leon I wouldn't disagree with that statement but it shouldn't work as an absolute rule. As series evolve, why should the most recently released game be limited by how the first one was designed? In this instance the game is touted as based around starfox 64, which featured a slew of local vs mode options. It's pretty rare to get a AAA release game without online on any other platform so the market has shown an obvious demand and the series has multi-player pedigree enough to warrant some investment in expanding online options. In my opinion at least

@smashbrolink I see where you're coming from but that point doesn't really wash. All those franchises, like starfox, have had a single player campaign and local multi-player but added online options later due to demand with the exception of splatoon which was built around the massive demand in the market for online multi-player. Like @SLIGEACH_EIRE was stating, there IS a demand for this game to offer online gaming options but they have chosen to ignore those requests in this franchise. The same as with pikmin and Nintendo land for example, which also could have had online if they wanted. The bottom line, imo, is that if you don't give an option to do something it will never gain popularity but it can't be ignored in the first place and expected to get ANY momentum. Nintendo have no online strategy or consistency which can be frustrating at times.

Time for me to get with the times and try a beta game for free, hope it's worth my time and not a buggy mess!!
Otherwise lots of variety for people with money, unlike me:( I'm considering selling my physical copy of Luigi Bros u to buy the selects combo pack as I sold Mario Bros u to buy it when released to get me that pretty green box.....one of those collector vs gamer arguments ......hmmmmm......
