The community is still very active! I love to dip in and out every other weekend. Another big update should drop in February or March. People are still hoping to get a Joker league with more hybrid tracks and a Deuce league with more BS F-Zero tracks.

My vote would have gone to LouisF for the daedalianly composed Balatro soundtrack.

In the meantime, Balatro should be wearing this PEGI18 like a badge of honour, the same way the "parental advisory explicit lyrics" labels made kids feel cool in the 90s.

As someone working in the film and animation industry, this is the norm. The general audience has no idea the attention to detail that goes into every frame of every shot.
You just have to hope that the one giving you feedback is someone with a good artistic eye and not some old executive producer, or even worse, a marketing guy.

This would confirm backwards compatibility. I can't imagine F-Zero GC or Kid Icarus Uprising being released on Switch 1 and not on Switch 2.

Yamauchi was a genius, in the original sense of the term.
Despite being orphaned at 5 and having to take over his grandfather's company at 21, he turned the card making business into one of best companies in the world. He recognized the genius of Gunpei Yoko and his makeshift Ultrahand just by walking through the factory, which launched the business into games.
He realised he needed to expand into US territory if he wanted to prosper.
He had an excellent intuition for recognising potential in people and ideas.
And all of that without ever having played a single videogame.
