I plopped 5k hours (2001-2003) in D2 and 1k into D3 and wish I was able to use a controller during those times as I found the game easier to control on my cousin's PS4 copy. I do not like using the mouse to move and spam in these types of games unless its a 3rd person view (which I hope the 4th entry switches to for more of an MMO style hybrid experience like D3 was originally going to be).

Eh, I like the plastic cases (and flashier art) more tbh.

Unless that controller has an improved dpad, then there really isn't a good reason for me to care about that as well.

I actually liked all of the corny FMV games I owned (still do, just with no cases or console to play them on) on my Sega-CD/PSX from 1993-1998. I want an remastered version of Braindead 13 and all of the Taito (Time Gal, Ninja Hayate, and Road Avenger) arcade FMV games.

I have it digital on my 3DS but been waiting for a physical Switch version. I'll be a patient a bit longer and snag it when it finally releases. If it doesn't include the last bit of DLC on the cart though, I'll just get a Steam sale version.

Well, I'm glad they went with the random foxgirl tbh. I like her design and it fits with the game. Having the magical job-changing FFX-2 girls would be cool though too though.

I hope its the superior Sega Saturn version since they can't (unless they got permission) use Sony's localization from the 1999 version.

Still a damn good game and my top jrpg of all time behind Skies of Arcadia, Lunar 1/2, Chrono Trigger, and Phantasy Star IV.

Also, RIP the vocal OST that came with my Dreamcast copy of Grandia 2. It got caught in a fire in the break room at Kroger in late 2001.

That's what Mario Odyssey is for. If a 3D platformer can't run at 60fps on Switch and I can play it at 4k/60fps on my PC, then its not worth my time or money else where.

I only play my Switch docked (on my 2nd monitor) or on the toilet as it is, so multiplats on Switch are kinda worthless to me.

Yeah, I already have a sizeable Amazon (and 300+ titles on various Japanese ebook sites) manga collection and my physical collection in digital form as it is.

A netflix or crunchyroll app would have tickled my fancy more.

Great game for those who haven't played it yet! I'll be sticking with my PC copy unless they can get the Switch version running at 60fps and a physical copy.

Yeah, its essentially a spiritual sequel to that excellent little game (it, Last Blade, and MotM were my favorite fighters on that handheld).

lol, all of the serious bidness hot takes up in here acting like there will be no skill factor to the game because of its simplified input system.

Fine, go back to KoFXIV and enjoy your "real" fighting game. Meanwhile I'll be playing and enjoying both for what they each are/do.

Button mashing won't get you far in these games still. Its not like Soul Calibur 2/Dead or Alive 2/3 days.

This is fine for me since I play my more serious fighters on Steam with my custom/retrofitted arcade sticks and I rather play this with just the joy cons for light-hearted online.

Eh, I don't play these types (or FPS genre) on consoles anyway. Only Nintendo and Japanese quirky/2D 3rd party/indie games for me on Switch.

This looks excellent, and I'm loving the old school Sega-CD/TurboDuo-style fullscreen sprite animations.

Urusei Yatsura on Sega-CD was the game that used that animation style to its full extent (plus got around the color limitations of the Genesis) IMO.

LOL, yup, only wireless for me. I remember the 1989 incident when my step dad ran to the front living room window to watch the cops arrest someone and he tripped on my NES wires and sent the BES crashing into the wall and the TV fell off the entertainment center.

It was pretty damn amusing at the time but man, no NES and cable TV for a month until he got replacements.

Until Nintendo releases an official full featured d-pad joy-con and improved pro controller, I'm sticking with my joy-cons.

Going by the complaints I've read about this controller and its nit pickiness to operate correctly at that, I'll be sticking with the motion controls (which honestly, aren't no where near as bad as people have said going by what I've seen). I can't be bothering other people in the house anyway.

Well yeah, its the same plot as the comics used nearly two years ago.

I was going to get the $120 edition, but I realized all of that extra tat will just sit around and do nothing for me and the extra $70 nets me Blade Strangers, Shenmue 1&2 HD, and some pizza.

Last ones I bought were the two released on PS2 and its going to stay that way. I do love the OSTs though!

Yeah, I went with the 4k/60fps pc version instead. My Switch mostly stays docked to my extra monitor next to my pc, so buying inferior versions is a no go for me.

I used your link and preordered the Eevee version. Also guys, the Prime savings will probably kick in later. That happens a lot and they'll change your order to reflect the price update.

As previously stated, I have the Diamond Dream Edition preordered! I normally pass on LEs like this but it has enough unique goodies and fan stuff to get me to splurge.

They could do a decent downgraded port but took the lazy/cheap (which is par for course with them on Switch thus far) way out it seems. Luckily I already own the excellent PC version and can avoid this train wreck.

Yeah, I'll be upgrading my current PC copy for $20 instead and playing it in 4k. Portable Souls at 30fps is still pretty impressive though tbh.

lol, no, I'd rather pick up a Samsung 1tb Evo SSD than that. My two 128g SDs will be more than enough for the next 5-7 years as I will always buy physical whenever.

The simple controls are perfect for playing casual matches on Joy-Cons. Hopefully a PC version (double-dip ahoy) comes out later so I can use my arcade sticks.

I'm still happy that this is somewhat of a sequel to the best fighter (Capcom vs SNK and Last Blade as well, gosh) I owned on my NGPC back in early 2000. I kinda hope they have that on there as an hidden unlock.

Just make them full featured FFS. I'm not touching this at all because I switch back and forth in modes a lot. Yeah, not touching this thing at all.

I have this on Steam and it was a very pleasant and chill game to play tbh. A sense of adventure and wonder are all that's needed to enjoy simple games like this sometimes.

This goes both ways as well because women love their eye candy and over the top stuff like this too. I don't even get aroused by this kinda stuff I just like skimpy (and fully armored for my MMO characters) dressed female characters in anime and rpgs/fighting games.

The original Xbox and Gamecube were also very close in power. Up until 5 years ago, Nvidia and AMD were equal in power for both gpus and while Nvidia has the advantage for now, AMDs current gpus (especially their low to mid range cards which vastly outsell Nvidias in the same category) are selling quite well and their high end Vega cards are better or just below the 1070 and 1080ti respectively.

AMD's new Ryzen cpus (I have three systems, using a 1600, 1700X, and 1500X respectively) are very cheap and very powerful for what they do as well and they took back a sizeable portion of that market away from Intel last year. Once AMD uses their same multi-core cpu tech on their gpus in the new Navi architecture for 2019/20, they will be a force to be reckoned with possibly. The next Sony and Microsoft systems will be very powerful with these new powerful and low voltage AMD apus in them compared to the 2013 apus.

I'm not an AMD fanboy btw (I have a 1070, 1080, and and Vega 56 in my three systems), I just hate it when people cheer for one company and crap on the other hoping they go out of business. You do not want AMD leaving the market, nor does Nvidia and Intel and they know it.

Also, there will not be a Tegra X2, it doesn't exist. Expect a newer chip with the new Amphere tech instead at some point.

Already got these on PC but if they can improve everything though, that'll be great. Just hope that the Sakura games stay far away as those are the lowest of the low for effort and non-interactivity. I've been gifted every single one of those garbage games as gags.

Long live the Queen and the Princess Maker games would be great on Switch as well. Hatoful Boyfriend as well (lol).

Yup, spin-offs would be fine on Switch because there is no way the Switch can handle world without serious downgrades in visuals.

Yes please! 60fps (30fps 3DS Returns was very playable but I'll always prefer smoother 60fps) and on the Switch is all that I ask for.
