With the majority of Nintendo Switch games aiming to get their moment in the limelight before the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December, it's raised questions about when exactly the Diablo III Eternal Collection will arrive.

Blizzard has previously stated it should be released "on or before" 21st December and a new listing by Target now suggests the game could be arriving as soon as 2nd November. According to a Reddit thread via GoNintendo, this release date aligns with the first day of BlizzCon 2018. If the game was made available then, it would certainly be a nice way of kicking-off the annual Blizzard event. This specific date also goes against existing retailer listings using the placeholder date of 21st December.

What do you think, can you see Blizzard releasing Diablo III Eternal Collection on Switch well before December 21st? Would you make time for this game once Smash has arrived? Tell us in the comments.
