As a fan of low-budget ecchi/hentai games and an advocator against all forms of censorship, this really was just a weird bug for a "mostly" non-perverted series.
Assault Android Cactus is amazing if you're fans of fun twinstick shmups with an early to mid 90s US manga aesthetic (I know it sounds cringey but it works well, trust me).
Its one of those games I've owned on Steam for years and put 100+ hours in and still go back to it for the daily challenges.
I will probably buy that one just to have a physical of it and just play my PC copy. That's how much I like that game and dev. I'd probably play it on the toilet tbh.
Mechstermination Force was fine but not worth buying again on the same console. I'd rather get a PC digital copy.
I took a chance on this with the LR physical edition but it should be alright. I've wasted more on crappy games over the years and took chances on potential gems such as this.
Normally not and I have no problem playing a 30fps game even though I have a 1440p/144hz capable pc
Daemon X Machina gave me a headache though. Metroid 2 remake on 3DS also hurt my eyes (no 2D game should ever be 30 fps) along with that Mercury Steam Castlevania game.
Couldn't finish any of them and I'm still hoping Samus Returns gets a Switch 60fps release.
Watch, I'll get labeled a pirate or something when I'm ready to buy these games again for Switch if they they remaster them properly in HD (and not the lazy Nintendo way of just tossing an overpriced SD rom in the shop with barely any improvements, i.e. various N64 ports on WiiU).
I'm sure Nintendo is very appreciative of a kind and caring soul such as yourself that deprives themselves of a superior gaming experience to stop the evil piracy of irrelevant hardware and its associated software.
Such stalwart bravery! Bravo!
Meanwhile I'll keep playing my Wii games (and the $1300 in eshop/VC games that were downloaded and lost when my machine died) with superior resolutions, textures, controls, and framerates.
I'm just buying the standard edition because LRG has the most annoying system for procuring them and I'm usually sleeping or at work when the damn things go live. That and I missed out on too many I cared about (Shantae, Freedom Planet, etc)
Also, I don't like that only the vinyl OSTs are offered outside of the LEs. I got over my vinyl phase back in the mid 80s when CDs came out.
Now NISA makes the perfect size LEs and I can't wait for my copies of their two Psikyo Shooting Stars collections.
Yeah, lol. Console gaming how it used to be is a thing of the past and will only get worse for these people the longer they claw grip onto their old ideals.
I don;t like some of it but I'm just one person. Time and tech will move on regardless.
Except its a $300 console and not that expensive tbh. No normal person shells out $2000 every two years for a PC btw. I've spent about that much over the course of the past 5 years on mine plus a budget build for a buddy.
Also, thanks for the reminder on how console gaming works, I've only been buying consoles since 1987. Nothing wrong with mid life refreshes at all.
Man, some people really want to play on the same old hardware for 4-5+ years, huh? lol
Reminds me of when some people kept playing World of Warcraft on old hardware (like really old, like asinine 2004-08 tech you should have upgraded already its not expensive) and then Blizzard finally decided it was time to shove those people aside for the betterment of the game going forward. Things shouldn't stay static to appease those unwilling to move on, especially ehwn they're most likely the minority.
I'm a PC gamer alongside a Nintendo one and welcome paying for appropriate power/premium increases for my favorite console.
I'm a 39yo male and I love Senran Kagura (and even bought the anime BDs of it) and don't find any of it sexually arousing. Its just stupid silly fun with overly endowed girls with a semi-decent story.
Bon Apetit and Pinball has me feeling like a hyper pervert when I play them though, lol.
@Kriven They'll never get total control, and it'll take another 15-20 years before they get close. I'll be 60+ by that time and will just stick with my rebuilt up physical library of Nintendo and backed up PC games.
The amount of people in here that think a fully fleshed out and beautiful looking Wonder Boy sequel should sell at rock bottom indie game prices is astounding. You got the game at half off and some of you still complain its too much. Seriously, ya that broke or something?
Utterly Ridiculous.....
I bought a launch copy at full price and two of the $15 digital copies on Steam for friends. Now a couple more people can enjoy the game, and they won't complain about it.
Not a Broly or Vic fan per say but other dumb crap Funimation has done to some of my favorite titles has assured that I'll never buy any of their BDs new ever again.
That being said, people readily lauding known two-faced VAs just because they're women is pretty funny as well.
Lots of resetera users use this site so some of the comments don't surprise me. Luckily their type only make up an extremely minuscule percentage of liberals and us normal ones can ignore their insanity.
Definitely a damn good game with an awesome OST. Might double dip on this one just to have it physical to compliment my PC copy.
They can keep Read Only Memories though.
Also, I really wish they would just leave open preorders for the LEs up and only do the one run and that's it. Fighting people for 1-2 minutes at oddly specific times is extremely annoying and off-putting.
Sucks to have to wait so long for the PC and Switch versions to btw. Gonna get it on Switch first (only if its physical) because it'll probably have a more robust online player base.
Dunno but I expected Nintendo DS and 3DS collections of their best games for YEARS to no avail. The NGPC had an ungodly amount of quality/quantity titles and I owned a complete collection of all US/UK carts at one point (plastic clam shell UK Cotton being my favorite rare title).
Why there isn't a proper collection yet still confuses me. I want to play Metal Slug 1st and 2nd Mission along with Cardfighter's Clash and Biomotor Unitron (I enjoyed this title way too much during that gaming bliss period of Fall 1999).
Sakurai was definitely taking jabs at CERO and that's fine by me. Mai has been one of my favorite fighting game girls (Felicia being #1 and a custom stick dedicated to her https://i.imgur.com/WbqXtrP.jpg ) and I'm fine with this.
If Chunners ever gets added in though, I'm calling foul.

Re: Review: SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo 2 - A Fun But Ultimately Forgettable Puzzler
I put insane hours into the NGPC port of this game back in late 1999.
Great game still IMO.

Re: WayForward's Shantae Is Getting Her Very Own Funko Pop
this will be the first (an probably only) Funko Pop I ever order just because its Shantae and looks decent.
Re: The Wonderful 101: Remastered Targeting 1080p/60fps On Switch

Will buy digital on Steam later on.

Great, no more getting a headache trying to play this at 30fps. Should have targeted 60fps at the start with lesser visuals.
Re: The Kunio-kun World Classics Collection Appears To Finally Be Coming To The West
In for a potential Switch physical and Steam digital.
Re: Random: This Mod Turns The Virtual Boy Into A Proper Console You Can Play On Your Television
I still can't believe I got one of these for Xmas back in 1995 along with Telero Boxer, Galactic Pinball, and Wario Land.
Didn't think my aunt would get it or the PSX and I got a proper surprise that morning. lol
I still loved it and it became the first game system I completed a library for the following year.
Playing Tetris 3D for 4 hours straight on a very warm July afternoon the following summer in my hot attic room was idiotic on my part though.
Re: Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Producer Opens Up About Delay, Thanks Fans For Support
Least I can finally buy a MM collection on Switch that is complete with no BS drawbacks.
Also glad I always skipped that DS copy at Wally World over the years (and it sat there for 5 years).
Now about that recolored GB collection, Capcom?

Eh, I only commented because it was cringe and replied in kind.

Re: Random: Poor Junichi Masuda Can't Even Enjoy His Birthday Without Someone Moaning About Missing Pokémon
If you can't handle social media after releasing a game with many unpopular changes, then get off it.
The man needs no one's sympathy points.
That being said, its pretty bad taste to bother someone like that during a birthday post.

That's pretty authentic, yo!

And other people want upgrades over time too. You don;t get to just hand wave away customers like me.
Also lol at the "other hobbies". That's just tough, one's varying hobbies shouldn't stagnant because people decide to do other things as well.
Also, I'll save you some time here; I'm never ever going to agree with you on this.

Grats man! It must have been amazing being able to interact with an artifact such as that.
Re: The Nintendo PlayStation Prototype Is Being Auctioned Off Early Next Year
Meh, I don't blame him. I'd sell it too if I were to come across it.
1. People would eventually find out where I live and probably try to steal it.
2. Fringe collectors are stupid with money and might as well bank off it.
Re: PS4's Untitled Goose Game Theme Makes Us Want Switch Themes More Than Ever

Re: Random: Senran Kagura Was Almost Named 'Ninjugs' Here In The West
While that is pretty funny (as are the names being tossed around in here), I think I vastly prefer its given name.
Re: Solatorobo Developer Open To The Idea Of Remaking Nintendo DS Exclusive
@Seanmyster6
I snagged mine when I was transferring my launch 3DS info to my new 3DSXL while at gamestop and saw it sitting on the shelf next to me. Yoink!
I would prefer a remake to Tail Concerto first. That was one of the few PSX games I purchased 2-3 times before ultimately selling it again.

Got myself a copy of Umihara Kawase: Fresh for $20 too.
Re: Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 Switch Bundle Dominated This Year's Black Friday Sales
Yup, snagged one of the MK8 bundles (along with an extra set of joycons, Crash Trilogy, and Tetris 99) for my nephews for Xmas.
