At this rate we'll probably just get Metroid Prime Echoes on NSO GameCube in the foreseeable future and Metroid Prime 3 on NSO Wii in at least a couple of years.
To this day still the best controller ever if you ask me. I would have apricated it if they made the ZL button the same format as the Z (ZR) button on the controller, but I digress.
So many useless additions to the character roaster feels like wasted development time. I miss my boy Link, but it won't be a surprise to me if he's added by DLC in the (near) future.
The number of characters thrown into the roster is getting out of hand. There's nothing wrong with the main and secondary characters, so why throw in so many minor characters such as Goomba? It would be more fun to see more cross over characters, because I am starting to realise I have to race without Link and he was really happy, because he deserved to be there.
I want to know why GameCube NSO is not available for Switch 1. We have seen many cube games run just fine on the device. I simply can't comprehend why we're only getting it for Switch 2. (Yes, I can think of a lot of reasons why Nintendo would push this narrative, but I don't find those reasons valid)
That was kinda expected, right? I find it quite a shame that the new wireless GameCube controller is not available for Switch 1. Or can somebody please proof me wrong?
That's great and all, but is this really news? Isn't this just stating the obvious in the search why we should be happy with old games, we've been playing for years, coming out on a new system?
That's it... I was considering buying a Switch 2 just for Metroid Prime 4 alone, but that awful box art is not something I want to display on my shelves here.
We talk about games that need a Switch 2 Edition, or we could talk about games that don't need one, but will happen. I am looking at you Bethesda rereleasing Skyrim for the fourteenth time.
Absolutely hot garbage. It's clear Nintendo is just scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Sure, Metroid Prime 4 was there, but I find the new trailer quite underwhelming. They better bring their A-game next week.
This game will probably be awesome, but this trailer is really underwhelming. Makes me wonder if Nintendo is able to carry the Switch 2's launch on just this title alone...
Truth be told this is the first time in a long while that I am actually excited for a Direct. As long as Nintendo keeps out the padding and focuses on the heavy hitters they can't go wrong with this Direct.
I still like to know why Nintendo decided to remaster this game instead of bringing Wind Waker and/or Twilight Princess to the Switch. I would have happily paid 60 bones for a Zelda remake (yes, I know I am part of the problem and you are welcome), but HD returns is a game I will never get at this price point.
Sure, get this one out of your system, Nintendo, and focus on the remasters/rereleases that matter. Such as Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for example.
Probably not... Nintendo has some games to get out of there system first: I am looking at you Mario & Luigi Brothership. Nintendo probably still have Metroid Prime Echoes Remastered and with Echoes of Wisdom released, it's highly probable they'll have Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD up there sleeve.
I have this glorious build right here on the shelve and I love it. There was a piece missing though, but LEGO dispatched one right away after I filled for a missing piece. Good service on their part.
Just release Remake 3 + 4 and get it over with. We all know a new mainline in the series ain't gonna cut it. Nostalgia isn't delicate, it's extremely potent.
Loved it on Xbox, never finished it, thought. Definitely gonna give this game another go on Switch. (P.S. I don't care what the graphics enthusiasts say)
A "Nintendo Selects" range for Switch? Don't make me laugh. The Big N is keeping all their gems ready for a HD/4k re-release on the Switch's successor.
I believe everyone saying that the Switch is old is deadly wrong. The fact that so many people own this device and it being a portable will grant it a longer life longer than other portables before it. With the Switch Nintendo proofed once again that graphics are not top priority and if the Switch's successor is another portable device, but with better graphics, the adaptation to it's successor will be far less. Maybe if another pandemic comes along, but I digress.
Not sure if I really wanted a new Zelda game with Zelda as the playable character. For a second I though I was looking at a remake of the Oracle games... and I think I rather had those.
Poor visual quality but runs well? I must say that's the best news you will read about this game. Gameplay is good, but also very dull. Story is lack lustering, but also has some charm to it. Gave this game a try on Xbox and I hope people will give it a try on Switch. Not that the game deserves praise, but it should get some love for what the developers did or tried to do.

@AG_Awesome Eternal Darkness should eventually drip feed into a special GameCube 18+ app, right?

Re: Poll: Did You Get A Switch 2 Purchase Invite From Nintendo Yet? (Europe)
Got an invite so naturally I decided against my better judgement to buy both a Mario Kart bundle and two Gamecube controllers.

The question I really want answered is: will the new wireless GameCube controller work on Switch 1?

Re: Mailbox: Switch 2 FOMO, Spark Games, Pancakes & BOTW - Nintendo Life Letters
My Spark Birt is and always will be Super Mario Bros. on NES. Funny how nowadays I find it actually quite boring.

Re: Reaction: A Direct That Delivered, And Shows That Switch Still Has Plenty Of Pep
New Zelda, new Mario & Luigi and finally Metroid Prime 4, makes this a absolute Great Direct. All the other stuff was... lackluster at best.
Re: New 2D Adventure 'The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom' Announced For This September
