After a surprise update in September, Nintendo has today rolled out Version 4.0.1 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

This update, as you might have already worked out, is a lot less exciting. It basically addresses some issues with multiple fixes. If anything else significant about this latest update is discovered, we'll provide an update.

For now, here's the full rundown, courtesy of Nintendo's official support page:

If you didn't catch the previous update (Version 4.0.0) for this Switch title, it includes enhanced and "sharper visuals" for the Switch 2 display. Along with this, are improved load times and the ability to play with up to eight players on one system. CameraPlay support was also added in this update.
