It's 14th October, which means that many of you will be diving into the world of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse in just one measly day. It also means that quite a few reviews have already gone live for Konami and Evil Empire's new entry, and it sounds like it's going to be rather good.

But hold on, where the heck is Nintendo Life's review? We're very conscious that many of you will have questions when you've seen other outlets' reviews go live. Well, the unfortunate reality is that we simply don't have a code for it yet.

Our friends over at Push Square enjoyed their time with the PS5 version, calling it "a good Metroidvania and a valiant effort to resuscitate Castlevania," although "there's little new to see for anyone who's been keeping up with the genre over the last decade."

If you're waiting for the NL verdict, please sit tight. We'll have a review for Belmont's Curse in due course, it just won't be live until after the game's launch.

Rest assured, we'll be working to get the review out in as timely a manner as possible, but we also want to make sure we spend enough time with the game to provide a thorough evaluation. So, bear with us. Please understand!
