Re: Percentage Of Female Managers At Nintendo Hasn't Improved, Despite Pledges

Strumpan

@Bablommebite Of course, so the whole issue is that studies show that males are favoured over women in cases of equal competence. If this is the case, then there is an argument to be made for favouring women in the recruitment process, to level the playfield. Now, IF the playfield is already level (which it typically isn't), then of course a low ratio of female executives is not a problem.

Re: Video: Overclocked Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Smooths Out Performance On Switch

@Link-Hero Performance issues are never the result of the system being too weak, but of developers making games that are too much to handle for the system they develop for. But yes, Switch games with bad performance will play flawlessly on more powerful hardware. But Nintendo's next, more powerful, system will have as many bad running games as the Switch, because developers will always bite off more than they can chew.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Bayonetta Origins: Cereza And The Lost Demon

I see there are some comments here suggesting other people are wrong to like something the commenter doesn't like. That's a moronic stance to take. To me, Platinum makes probably the best games around these days, but it's fine if other people don't like them. A whole other, and more interesting, discussion is what makes Platinum games special and why they are good and/or bad. As for this game, I wasn't completely sold on the demo, but haven't played the full game yet.

Re: Poll: Six Years On, Which Was Nintendo Switch's Best Year So Far?

Strumpan

It was difficult to choose between 2021:s No More Heroes 3, Monster Hunter Rise, Shin Megami Tensei V, Metroid Dread and Warioware, and 2022:s Bayonetta 3, Kirby, Nier and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Had to go with 2021 in the end, but man, those two years have been fantastic!

In total, I'd rank them 2021, 2022, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023 (so far), 2020.
