@Zeldafan79 When it comes to action games like Bayonetta, 60fps is much better than 30. Which is why the Bayonetta games on Wii U and Switch run at 60fps, of course.

@Zag_Man If technical fighters isn't your jam, you can probably spend your precious game time on another game. But if you are willing to learn, my tips are to learn one or two "bread and butter" combos first and use them most of the time until you get the hang of it. And evade often, take a couple of fights where you only evade, just to nail the timing. Anyway, if you are like me, you would probably want to play the first game first to understand and appreciate the improvements in gameplay of the second game. It's not that long of a game anyway.

@KiraMoonvalley Thanks. I didn't like Dragon's Crown and visual novels are normally not for me (Doki doki literature club was great, but that's American). I have P4G which is great in many ways, I should have mentioned that. And most games I play are Japanese, that's the good thing about the Switch, it has Astral Chain, No more heroes, Monster Hunter, Shin Megami Tensei and so on. Anyway, glad you have found so many games you like on the Vita, I have also modded mine so I have a large pile of PS1 and PSP games to plough through before its time is up.

@KiraMoonvalley I have a Vita, but I haven't found many great games for it, apart from the obvious choices like Muramasa, Soul Sacrifice, Freedom Wars, a handful of JRPGs and a few collections of PS2 ports. Do you have any suggestions for games to look for while I can still buy games for it?

@MailerBen So the joke is that some people thought Nintendo would release a new system with upgraded performance instead of an upgraded screen?

I used to voice chat in MH3U on the Wii U, but there were already lots of other data streaming between the gamepad and the system, so adding audio didn't make much difference.

@InJeffable The point with a gameboy styled controller would be to use it in handheld mode.

The NES remix games were absolutely brilliant! Please, Nintendo, do the same with GB, GBC, GBA and N64!

Too many games this year! But yes, I got it. My only complaint is that Wario's voice acting is mysteriously missing in the English version! It was so good in the Japanese version!

@RasandeRose To me, the short length was not much of a negative. And I think being lightweight is partly what made it feel fresh. But yeah, it should be easy to find on sale.

@Vexx234 Well, the OLED screen is the whole point of this upgrade, that's why it's called that and not the "Super Switch" or something similar.

@mr_somewhere Yes, and busted amps is admittedly a better analogy than saxophone solos. I also think this game is much better than NMH2, partly because of the inclusion of an open world. Not to mention FU is one of the best villains in a video game ever!

It's a wonderful game. As someone said, complaining about the framerate in the open world sections of a NMH game is a bit like complaining about too many saxophone solos at a jazz gig. Maybe jazz just isn't your thing, right?

@VIIIAxel RER2 is really good in coop, but I agree when it comes to solo play.

@TaterSlap69 It's a really good game, also on Switch. It's not a goood-looking game as it was on the PS4, and sometime jus it looks a bit like a PS2 game (well... a good-looking PS2 game at least). But yeah, it's the same game, just a little uglier.

Yes, this is one of the best games on the Switch! And finishing the extra missions after the ending is a really fun challenge. Regarding the story, it's really crazy and a lot of fun, with maaaybe one too many plot holes.

There are hundreds of fun little GB titles outside of the well known classics. The scheme they are following with the NES/SNES online, of releasing games nobody asked for, would work much better with GB.

I'm getting heavy Space Quest vibes from this. Roger Wilco as an NPC?

@ItsjustAnotherGamer The similarities are obvious, and the way you put it makes it even more so. But still, they do have different psyches and motivations. If you would put a Deadpool skin on Travis in the game, would it be a believable Deadpool game? Actually... kind of. Ah well, maybe it's mostly their appearance and style that sets them apart?

@TheFrenchiestFry All right, but he is still a different kind of loser. Travis doesn't have that type of traumatic background. I'd say Travis is less sympathetic and more of a creep. Maybe that's not the right way to put it, but I would definitely object to them being the same character.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo are the ones keeping the lid on Bayo3. It's an important title for Nintendo's image and to cover an important customer group, and they want to make sure it gets the attention when they decide to show it off.

@FargusPelagius Sure, sales of the Switch will drop when the games cease. I still believe it has a couple of years left.

@FargusPelagius The games releasing? You mean games in absolutely wonderful franchises such as Monster Hunter, No more heroes, Metroid and Shin Megami Tensei? The Switch is still selling like crazy, so Nintendo won't retire it any time soon. As for future hardware, whenever that might be, you might be right, Nvidia could be the right partner. Time will tell. But I'm pretty sure they'll make a hybrid handheld/console to replace the Switch, that concept is too good to abandon.

@FargusPelagius Yes, well, that's not going to happen, and the best graphics to be found on a Nintendo system now is on the Switch. So I'd still want that. They can release X3 on their next system.

Hopefully a sequel to X! Such a fantastic game, and it ended on massive cliffhanger. And I hope they're capable of making a game that good-looking again.

@steely_pete It's not a problem for the company, except It's more difficult to raise capital by emitting more stock, and they become more vulnerable to a hostile takeover (not much of a risk in this case). It is a problem for the owners of the company, however. It is a common situation that the interests of a company clash with the interests of its owners.

@Ralizah I think the people who associate these graphics with PS2 games have just not seen much of this artstyle since the PS2 era, so in their heads it's natural to make the quick "looks like a PS2 game" connection. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, the game looks fantastic!
