The superb puzzle platformer where you essentially take Samus' Morph Ball for a roll, Glyph, is currently 90% off on the Switch eShop. What an absolute steal. You can grab this chill, ambient puzzle-platformer for just £1.79 / $1.99 on the eShop from now until 20th October. So get on rolling!
In Glyph, you need to move the titular ball across over 80 different levels, rolling, jumping, and gliding. It's an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master adventure with some ridiculously creative level designs and addictive challenges.
We were full of praise for the game in our review, where we called Glyph "a joy to play." You can't ask for much more than that.
Have you played Glyph? Will you be picking it up on sale? Roll on down to the comments.

I really enjoyed this one. Towards the end I did feel it got a little samey and challenging in tedious ways, but I found it to be a wholly satisfying game.
Definitely pick this up, heck it even deserves a physical release.
Super Metroid Monkey Ball?
@RupeeClock completely agree. Some of the exploration levels were a chore by the end. But for 2 bucks? Worth it.
Metroid Primate Ball?
I played the demo of this one.
For $2 this is an absolute steal! Hours of entertainment and fun awaits. Along with many moments of close calls and sandy explosions XD. The music is gorgeous! It will carry you through the levels with veritable intensities, from a calm collect-athon to adrenaline pumping speedrun! It will be a Great addition to your Switch List!
Check out the demo if you don't want to spend any money, it definitely convinced me.
This is still one of my favorite Switch games. Some of the speed-run levels are bad but they are optional and there are a ton of super fun exploration levels. Even the final boss was actually fun for once. The platforming is just sooo good in an unusual but extremely satisfying way.
I was always surprised and sad this game didn't do better; it's not quite as polished as e.g. a Mario game but it's still one of the top few platformers I've ever played. I think there are a couple reasons beyond lack of name recognition. It's a little hard to define its subgenre--no, it's nothing like super monkey ball, but yes it has some crazy ricochet physics. A lot of it feels like a precision platformer where the jumps are like half a mile long which shouldn't work but it does. It's also not really a collect-a-thon game; there is a ton to collect but going for 100% honestly wouldn't be fun and is probably not the dev's intention. Collect enough to get an avatar you want and open all the levels and otherwise just go for the ones where the challenge seems really fun to you personally. The one wish I had of the game is to make clearer how much is optional; it's more fun after you realize you can skip the parts which don't interest you — get 20 hours of fun, not 40 of painful grinding. Relatedly, it does take a couple hours until full control of the magical platforming really sinks in; this isn't technically bad but since the game isn't a well-known franchise I'm afraid a lot of people gave up before being hooked.
I rarely pay full price for a game besides my favorite Nintendo exclusives or the occasional cheap game but I'm glad I grabbed this one immediately. It would honestly be silly not to buy it on the current sale.
I just got Limbo AND Inside, my wallet won't be able to take this!
I'm very interested in grabbing this one though, especially at such a low price. Momentum-based platforming is my absolute jam and this looks like it could be a great time. We'll see what happens by the 20th I suppose!
@citizenerased Thanks for the heads-up! I wasn't aware this had a demo myself, definitely downloading it for the weekend!
Lots of great classic platforming in this one, along with some crazy architecture. :v
It reminds me of that scarab thing Jafar used to find the Cave of Wonders in the Disney Aladdin movie (the animated one, AKA the only one that matters, hahah).
Grabbed it, enjoyed the demo
A whole article for a sale? Weird. There's been other massive sales that didn't get even a mention.
I might grab this though..I mean it's the price of some nasty fast food.
Oooh I liked the demo for this one and it's been on my wish list for a while. Guess I'll grab it.
It's a really fun game and get very hard (at least for me).
Looks really nice, I have impulse-bought MUCH worse games than this for a couple of bucks on the e-shop.
As a PSA, stay away from these like the plague:
Super Clown
Funny Truck
Lawnmower Mortal Race
Sky Ride
Animals Transport Simulator (this one doesn't even support buttons in the menus, you need to use the touch screen even in docked mode!)
@RupeeClock @3Khezu @SkyD
How are the undocked visuals please - are they sharp of blurry?
@brunojenso
I remember them being pretty sharp and the frame rate being pretty solid.
But you can download the demo and look for yourself, it's quite nice on the Switch OLED.
@RupeeClock Thanks
a 21st century love letter to KulaWorld
This is one of my favorite platforming games. (period) I hope more people get this!
