It’s a real shame, especially as so many characters from other Paper Mario games had such great designs and personality. I mean, even my avatar is Doopliss from TTYD.

19/21, got a little mixed up with the 2 Oracle games and 2 DS games... but nice quiz! Would like to see a Mario version (although could be a lot harder/impossible for some later games).

14/25, most players definitely get less exposure to the various characters in the games than say, Pokémon. I got Tank wrong which was annoying though as his image from a recent game made him look so happy and he always looked grumpy in the GC version where he was in my village, aha.

I wish these had been made using creepy face paint instead of bowing with a hat.

7/15. I did not know a single one of these games. My correct answers were purely logic guesses based on it not being a titles I know and knowing the style of box art for different generations, or pure, dumb luck.

4/10, not the biggest arcade game fan but good quiz!

7/10 Ooo, this was a hard one. First quiz I didn’t get 10/10. Got the sales hardware question wrong, thought it was Gameboy but of course it was DS. I had no idea who sorted the North American redesign of the SNES. I’m just an idiot for not remembering the Wii U launch date though...

I usually buy about 3-4max inventory's full and put them in my 'nip farm until myself or a friend has a decent price. I don't particularly need the money for anything anymore, but it's nice not to worry about bells.

@StuTwo I was being semi-serious, the premise and the voice over made me laugh out loud.

But of course, there are many features here that were revolutionary for Nintendo, the camera control of course, but more advanced polygon manipulation seen in the start screen and a greater ability than before to use real voice clips.

I got two pairs of excellent Pokémon boxers in Japan from Don Quixote. My girlfriend got some Pikachu pyjama shorts too so there’s already some of this stuff out there.

Ooo, I did not know they were re-recording the soundtrack for this version. It sounds amazing though! Can a triple dip though? It’s getting more and more tempting...

Really enjoying playing this and trying to 100% (might try for all the art if I have the patience...) camera is still not the best but the lighting and character models look nice. The frame rate is also super smooth and I enjoy the haptic feedback upgrades. Still wish some of the environment textures had been improved though.

This is scary stuff, that’s for sure.

Of course enjoying more Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but also taking breaks to play and reminisce over the newly released Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD on Switch.

Been playing lots of Animal Crossing in preparation for next week. Specifically New Leaf and also どうぶつの森　(Animal Forest) on the N64.

That explains why nothing was happening at the Pokémon Centre today in Shibuya... I assumed something would happen as it’s Pokémon Day. Next year is the 25th anniversary so I’m sure they’ll be something then.

Seems like a nice little bonus for those that already have NSO, but definitely no incentive to buy it. Nice if you’re a younger player who got the game for Christmas/recently perhaps.

I would definitely be interested in staying there next time I’m in Kyoto.

Up to an hour if you’re lucky. I went 2 weeks after opening and had to wait an hour and 45 minutes. Worth it though.

It’s a shame they’re charging extra depending on your options. In Japan it was a fixed price for any shirt I believe.

These are really nice. I also appreciate the time the artist obviously took to study Japanese roads and locations to incorporate into these pieces.

@Ryu_Niiyama the feel of the material is just okay. Kind of standard cotton, but the stitching seems to be really well done and overall it seems durable enough. I washed my shirt in the washing machine the other day and it came out looking just as good as when I bought it, so that’s something.

So, there really shouldn’t be an issue with incorrect sizing unless you measure yourself incorrectly. When you buy the shirt on the Japanese website it asks you for several measurements, including arm length and neck width etc. Plus the size guides for the main body are all pretty detailed so there should be little surprise with the finished product.

I (finally) received my two shirts last week after ordering in February as the demand was so high. The more casual shirt with Porygon body and Ditto cuffs, neck, pocket and placket fits perfectly. I’ve yet to try the formal dress shirt that is plain white except for an Articuno Placket but seeing as I used the same measurements I don’t see it being an issue. It’s expensive, yeah, but these ARE custom tailored shirts. And they look awesome (as long as you like the design).

@Luffymcduck I have a huge Porygon plush I won on a UFO machine in Tokyo, I definitely recommend it if you see it for sale anywhere.

FINALLY, I can get a Porygon2 plush. My life will be complete.

The website says the paid work day is from 7.45am - 5.30pm so this is where that average comes from. I am almost certain that the actual average work day is much higher.

I’ve been diving back into Animal Crossing: New Leaf in preparation for Toy Day, my Animal Crossing Christmas Eve tradition for the last decade at least. I’ll also continue to play Smash solo and with friends as well as hopefully some Super Mario Party and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe time.

It looks like something I’d be interested in if I was in a situation to play more multiplayer games, hopefully in the future. Also that ‘Ultimate multiplayer-friendly console’ pun was awful, haha.

I had a go with the Resi 7 Cloud Version trial and found it to be perfect. No lag or anything on my connection in Japan. I’ll give this a go if there’s a free trial. Hopefully this takes off and they bring it to the west.

I had a gaming night yesterday and we played some Wii U Smash Bros. And Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Still working through the virtual console Pokémon Gold and Stardew Valley too!

I would have liked to go but I'm on holiday in the U.K. during that time... at least I will still be able to get a Mr Mime.
