@Monsti Perhaps as the current generation of kids grows up, they'll replace those who currently are into video games and this whole difficulty gap problem will burn itself out. The problem occurs with the difference between people growing up with this level of tech and those not, I think.
@Artwark Super Mario Bros. X? Perhaps, because it copied not a few features from there. And there's another one, Super Mario Flash 2 (google it) which is renowned for it's level editing which has the ability (easter egg) to control Mario in the title screen.
That's interesting, because there was an error in Runbow caused by having the game installed on an external hard drive, too. Plus, this game proves that square wheels work, since Alex was perfectly able to move around in the minecart
The funniest bit was when Miyamoto-san was talking about the Goomba being added because it was easier, and then him getting killed by the "easy" Goomba.
I don't personally think this game was all that bad. There were a lot of cool features in this game included for multiplayer, but the multiplayer is difficult tom work with unless you are all very competent players. If a family of differing skill levels tried to play this it wouldn't work. I say this out of personal experience.
@Zubei Today, I was raging at some Splatlings on Triggerfish. They kept getting me... again and again... and that splash wall gets on my nervous system
My first MK game(I'm young ). This was what got me into the MK series in the first place. I preferred MK7 though, with it's shinier interfaces and custom karts.
Are those Yarn Yoshi amiibo actually woolen? I thought they were but Alex described them as being "Plastic toys" in this vid so thought I'd check. Haven't really been in touch with amiibo in terms of Yoshi's Wooly World.
I tried the Bamboozler. It reminds me of rifles from WW1 kind of thing, it's pretty weird being the only charger which doesn't 1-hit-kill. Not my kind of thing.
@TheDavyStar Agreed, on terms of showing off the actual game, the Japanese advert was easily the best. But I still like this real-world approach as it's eye-catching and people outside of Japan aren't neccessarily as connected to the idea of Super Mario. I hope this ad gets some new people interested in the Super Mario series as a whole.
It's okay, but... seriously, the level that guy made was complete trash. The guy who played must be mad. If this influences players, we're gonna be seeing a lot of spammy levels.
Trying to decide whether it's worth trying to play Pokken or not. Also, that level was pretty cool, somehow didn't notice this until this weekly video.
I gotta go singing for that one. Even though that microphone on the pic looks really cheesy @ricklongo I kinda agree. The thing I'm most excited about is the fact that Europe has had 0 Splatfests which act as ads for companies, whethers America and Japan have had those now.
