Well isn't that noble of BB, these are the exact same prices LRG charged customers on their website. Are you telling me LRG gave BB some discount... Why didn't the loyal customers receive that same discount LRG, why...?
Very nice, down to earth guy! He already started collecting as a kid, even Japanese and he has some nice contacts in the business. I even heard him speak about having a shop of his own for a while. I love it how he appreciates everything, small or big, he goes crazy, happy as a kid. Priceless.
I am still proud though about my own collection, mainly cartridge based but Completes in Box. Roughly 800 games For Joel that is maybe one corner cabinet max.
@LightyKD I was also looking forward to some good old classic Moto Racer 4. But it does not even support online multiplayer... GRIP seems the way to go though, but far from realistic of course. Also waiting for a long time for 90s Super GP (Nicalis) but release date is said to be very soon, but only since some years now... I guess "very soon" is very subjective.
I do not have enough reference or experience, but is 40 people considered a small team in this business? Especially when you sometimes see games that were developed by 1 single person.
@Shambo LRG pays import duties for you. So it will be only Game + Shipping costs. Since I was made aware of that, I am in all the way
I love these games, but if I had to chose only one, I would stick to the first one, even when part II looks a bit better. The setting of part I is what does it for me.
Still I share the same frustration as others pointed out as well. Early adopting digital only releases seems to lead to punishment. Red Barrels even made it clear they were not considering a physical release at all. Now it will be double dipping again... Sonic Mania... Outlast 1&2... Golf Story... Thimbleweed... Rocket League (even another physical release)...
Developers should make it possible to sell back digital games as soon as you also have them physical.
Proud to own an original minty Mega Drive CIB in my retro collection. Unbelievable depth and I don't necessarily mean the extreme amount of parallex scrolling layers which was incredible at the time
Can I buy it from South African eshop (as they belong to Nintendo of Europe as well), profit from the currency exchange and afterwards switch back to Netherlands and still having valid Switch online subscription?
Give us:
Gun Nac
Over Horizon
Jackie Chan
Shatterhand
Castlevania 3

Little Samson
Metal Storm
Narc
Turtles 2 and 3
Blue Shadow
Little Nemo
Mighty Final Fight
Mr Gimmick
Batman
Return of the Joker
Journey to Silius
Battletoads vs Double Dragon
I could only catch the collectathon edition in the first batch, not realizing I would get another chance with the second batch. I had to sell 1 kidney for it in the afternoon.
Pretty dumb because I forgot about the second batch, which they seem to do all the time, right?
Well, in the evening (Europe) I managed then to get the relatively affordable C.E. and now I am thinking whether I should try to cancel the Collectathon version or make someone else happy with it but also whether I will regret that in the future.
And In the meantime I am realizing that it is all a very selfish act.
The Collector's edition was already sold out in 1 minute! OMG.
I wanted to say that I was lucky being able to still finish my order on the YOOKA-LAYLEE COLLECTATHON BUNDLE For 179.99 + 28 shipping. My wallet at least is not
I would rather see Mad Dog McCree or Who shot Johnny Rock when we speak about FMV classics. Good times The Mad Dog collection for Wii was well executed.
Loving it, and yes for me the experience is the same. A game is not necessarily better in a higher resolution. Maybe I am one of few that can appreciate a certain blur. Wolfenstein 2 is impressive on Switch, as was Doom. Yes 60 fps would be brilliant, but I am getting to old/slow anyway for this [removed]
@Kolzig now I am starting to understand what the issue is. Thanks for the heads up that it is a Greek developer. That means it will probably never be released.
Real unique goodies are missing, I am talking concept art book, soundtrack, even a nice full color manual is seen as special today. But indeed that box looks good except for the larger than life USK logo. Why isn't PEGI enough for Europe?
While I am not a fan of randomly generated levels, I followed this game since its first trailer. Somehow the trailer shows very impressive stuff constantly (what a surprise) but when I see the gameplay videos these days on YouTube I am a bit bored. And somehow I am annoyed with the way the character walks (walking sprite). Anyone else noticing this as well? Anyway I will probably order the signature edition.
1) Bought it digital to see if it was for me
2) Bought it physical as "collector's edition" because it turned out to be for me and prefered physical...
3) Ultimate edition? Now triple dipping? Slap in the face! Where is the Jurassic Park/World DLC? Will that be included in next year's Definitive edition?
What can I say, this is what you get for early adapting? I thought early adaptors where the driving force behind your product...
Make sure YouTube is also set to 720p60fps or 1080p60fps. It looks much more fluent to me than what we now have with the physical version, very noticable around 1:23
The first 27 seconds are of the 30fps version before the patch. I think this is reflecting what we are playing.

Still have a sealed physical ps4 copy lying around somewhere, maybe get it for switch instead and sell the ps4 one.

EA is a joke. Looking forward to GCU2, had some fun with GCU.

Preordered it, coupon THENPC gives you 5% off... 300 pieces is brilliant, great that they allow only 1 per person.
Now hoping for a great game

No problem, you can keep your COD. We have Splatoon 2, Doom, Wolf 2 and Doom Eternal already and Metroid Prime 4 + more incoming.
His laughing probably was a self pity as COD would not stand a chance against these games.

Hope it will find its way to cartridge
Re: Limited Run Games' Yooka-Laylee Collector's Edition Available To Pre-Order On 7th September
Digital 39,99
Physical 49,99
Physical CE 74,99
From this perspective you get a lot in addition for +25 quid
Comparing it to PS4 or XBONE is too confronting unfortunately and I quickly want to forget about that...
Nevertheless, take my money...

@Rockstar
That means you can sell another 20 million copies of GTA V, bringing you to 120 million!
Re: Nintendo Has Sold 19.67 Million Switch Consoles To Date
So does that mean an average switch owner owns 4.3 games? Oops my library already counts over 70 physical games. Does that mean I am a nerd?
