Nice of Nintendo to announce this when I ordered this exact package as separate pieces when pre-orders opened a while back. Hopefully they will upgrade such orders to the Limited edition otherwise it smacks of punishing those who were excited about the game early.

I'm guessing the equivalent of $119.99 US based on $60 for the game, $40 for the controller, $20 for the adaptor.

Looks good but this is a game I want digitally. Generally I prefer singleplayer games physical and multiplayer digital.

Honestly none of the assets are bespoke so this is a 10-30min job to put this together. It feels less ‘special’ and more ‘bundle’ to me.

Meh. I'd rather just buy that poster separate. I've already go a pro controller, and i've been playing 4 with a wiiu pro controller. i stopped using gamecube controllers a long time ago.

Yea, I never understood why certain regions don't get stuff that CLEARLY has broad appeal. We don't know for sure, but IF the U.S. doesn't get this - why not?!!?

@Indielink more than likely will do but this just opens up the possibility of cancelling one for another and not getting either! I've been stung by such issues before so I'm weary. It's just frustrating that Nintendo couldn't get their act together to sort this out before opening pre-orders.

Real unique goodies are missing, I am talking concept art book, soundtrack, even a nice full color manual is seen as special today. But indeed that box looks good except for the larger than life USK logo. Why isn't PEGI enough for Europe?

This isn't really a limited edition at all, and I have been purposely waiting to preorder Smash for a special edition of sorts to pop up.

Hopefully NA gets something with actual special bonuses rather than a bundle.

I'll get it just for the box not the controllers....that to me is a non-starter since it has no options built into like the Pro Controller. But I'll take a stab for it though if the price isn't outrageous.

@Arpie No, it doesn't. You order the new one and then cancel the old And ofc you don't order it on Amazon, as they are and always have been extremely notorious for cancelling confirmed orders. Instead, you use one of the trustworthy smaller retailers.

@Blizzia I've had problems with pretty much every online store with regards to pre-orders at one time or another. Currently my Smash order sits with Nintendo themselves.
