Re: Dead Cells Is Getting A High-End, Physical Prisoner's Edition Release On Switch

I do not trust these guys anymore. The signature edition was initially limited to something like 3000 pieces. After the game turned out to be a success, they got greedy, simply removed the limitation and simply started to produce as much copies as they could sell. It was my first and last signature edition as I refuse to support a company that deceives people, especially their early customers. So do not expect this 10.000 copies number to mean anything, nor the 500.

I started to look a little different at code-in-a-box games. It starts with simply accepting that there is only a digital release. If I decide I want to play it, I do not depend on the Monopoly of the eShop. At webshops they often sink way below the eShop price (Youngblood anyone?) relatively quickly, so saves me more money for physical games. On top you have the added benefit of a spare game case and in case you like boxart you got yourself one of those as well

I could not wait any longer for physical release so I bought it digital in Oct to support the great development team and Feral Interactive for porting this so superbly! Now considering the same with Alien. Great that multiplayer is coming now, hopefully it runs smooth as well, will give it a try later today!
As a next step it would be great to release some modern car pack DLC as the car models are also going back to something like 2008...

Re: SteamWorld Quest Gets Physical On Switch, Pre-Orders Go Live Next Week

@LegendOfStewart it will be available long enough, I have never seen differently with Super Rare. Even after the preorder period probably still something like 30% left.

LRG's CEs though are usually the only ones that sell out in minutes, but I am sometimes wondering if scalping is just part of American capitalism. In Europe this happens far less.
