Serenity Forge's 2014 PC title Lifeless Planet is making the journey across to the Switch eShop next month. Lifeless Planet: Premiere Edition has been discovered within the 'coming soon' section of Nintendo's US digital store and will arrive on 6th September for the price of $14.99.
Described as a puzzle platform game with adventure elements, Lifeless Planet is about an astronaut who discovers an abandoned Soviet town located on another planet while seeking life. Under belief the entire mission is a hoax, a young woman then saves him from a strange, deadly and unknown phenomenon.
Take a look at the game's original trailer and tell us if you would be interested in playing this when it arrives on the Switch.

I'm definitely interested!
Discovered this randomly on the coming soon section of the eshop this morning and added it to my wishlist. Seems kinda cool!
Love the idea behind it but going from past reviews, it seems to get boring rather quickly.
It's a mildly interesting premise but the fact that I don't remember hearing about it, despite having been out on other platforms for several years, makes me question its quality.
It's an interesting little game I played on my laptop a few years ago.
You have to manage O2 levels while also maintaining enough for jetpacking(later in game). The only thing "off" about it was the hokey character models later on, but I recommend it for anyone who likes a more chill platforming experience.
This sounds like a game I'll enjoy.
This kind of reminds me of Human Fall Flat for some reason...
... the truth that the astronaut traveled forward in time to a dead earth? I'm just calling it now, folks.
Looks really interesting
On paper this really is my sort of game but that trailer doesn't wow me. This is the sort of game that really needs to wow me graphically.
@aznable I would be very disappointed if that was the ending.
It's an open-world game that was dull as dirt, poorly supported, and squandered most of its potential. I didn't even know it left early access. Honestly, my initial reaction was, "wow, so even vaporware can get on the Switch eShop now?"

"YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! D$%n you! G$%amn you all to hell!"
Interesting how he rolls the rock with his mind...
@SomeWriter13 Hehe. Quite.
"...your wife turned up missing one day..."
I love a terribly good oxymoron.
Already finished it on the PC. Somewhat intriguing the first time around but just a walking simulator nonetheless. The story isn't that special.
This reminded me of Body Harvest from the N64 a bit and now I want to play Body Harvest
This game has been on my radar for some time already on Steam, but again, this is a case where a Switch port of a game will be pricier than all other platorms its available on. Regular price in Canada for the Switch version will be $25, while it's $22 on Steam. Not a huge amount of a difference, but still, again, the feeling that I'm getting a bad deal by purchasing it for the Switch... I think pre-orders are on sale at $19 right now (Canada), which is an ok deal, but without knowing how it performs on Switch (waiting for review), I'm not sure I'd bypass my general rule of never preordering anything.
I think the $14 price mentionned in the article is a pre-order promo. Regular price will be higher than this.
So in this game you’ll just walk around and.. do nothing really?
Interesting premise, but I could've swore I heard of a similar concept in a Netflix movie...
i've been keeping an eye on this with steam but never took the plunge. this type of game isn't much a PC game to me so i may grab this on switch if it performs well handheld.
now where is the swapper??
Terrible trailer. Not for the gameplay shown, but for possibly spoiling what could be most of the twist. Discovering that there are structures already built, then streets, then houses and so on, is for me a big part of the experience these kinds of games want you to go through.
