@michellelynn0976 yeah exactly this. I was going to make a comparison to the FIFA Legacy Editions that have been coming out, which is essentially less than DLC.

Listen, I just enjoy the games and apply a little bit of videogame logic to the proceedings without really thinking about it.
Red barrels explode, enemies heads are their weak points, RPG’s are turn-based and have damage indicated by a number and Kirby ‘eats’ things.

Not feeling this, struggling to see either inspiration tbh. The soundtrack is probably the most Satoshi Kon thing about this game.

Excellent game, only playing through it for the first time. A chill but mind-expanding experience with the best OST I’ve heard in a while.

@MatoFilipovic you’re not wrong, but no one wants to hear about their interest in NFT’s. Because if there’s one company who would be dumb and/or stubborn enough to actually incorporate into their games, it’s Square Enix…
But also the Pokemon Company 100% too.

The Pokemon Company are behind on their business decisions (NFT’s are a dead concept) and their game development (Scarlet/Violet were technologically 2 gaming generations too late).
If they didn’t have such a strong IP they would honestly be bust.

I enjoyed this game a lot (apart from the story, which was total crap), but the lack of any meaningful post-game or New Game+ really hurts it in my opinion.
I’ll be jumping back in to do these Paralogues and that’s about it. Three Houses was much better in this regard, with the multiple storylines and ability to carry progress forward.

It looks like a fairly bare-bones remake/rerelease of a ten year old game. I think we all know what we’re expecting.

@Scarko aw my bad, couldn’t tell it was sarcasm because arguably it hasn’t actually turned out bad for Newcastle. Current highest league position for as long as I can remember.

Criticisms of the graphics is pretty stupid when all you can say is that they don’t feel right. It’s a remaster sure, but the game should be evaluated in what it is now and now what it was back in 2002.

So is this getting a PAL physical release? I know the Play Asia one has English language, but I’d rather not import again.

Nintendo getting sued by children for their inferior product and then winning their legal battle with them just seems like typical Nintendo behaviour tbh.

I have to agree with most others here. Have zero sympathy for people who attempt to ‘invest’ and profit from video games.

@nessisonett “single-handed” is a naive exaggeration, but I do take your point.

18% have games in development for Switch, but 12% have games in development for VR headsets which, in my opinion, I’m not interested in playing in any capacity and still consider it to be quite a niche hobby.
Definitely thought Switch would be higher given its large user base.

Red Deer Games are becoming the shovelware kings on Switch man. When they jump about genres so much you know it must be rubbish.

Here, Kirby as the 14th best selling game of the year is an insane achievement.
Most enjoyable game in the series in my opinion, so it’s good to seeing it selling well too.

So whit? Is this really a reason to boycott 2 of the most highly anticipated games for Switch this year?

@Sequel this isn’t Nintendo’s fault here, it’s the publisher for releasing what the lead developer considered to be an unfinished product. Publishers can slap whatever they want on the eShop, there’s soooo much garbage on there.
