@YoshiF2 Maiden of Black Water rerelease wasn’t published by Nintendo, so I’m only guessing it’ll be the same with this?

@Zenszulu see my comment above. No one needs to pay extravagant eBay prices if you just preorder it before 13th November… It’s that simple.

Lots of whinging here.
1. The input lag is only 5 frames. In my opinion it’s barely noticeable and does not hinder the game in any way.
2. All editions are open pre-order. You have until 13th November to place an order for any of the versions.
3. It’s really not THAT long a wait for the game to be released. Generally 6 - 9 months. Maybe longer for the proper collectors edition.

I’m sure the Xenoblade 3 Collectors Edition would be here if:
1. It contained the software
2. There were actually more than 100 or so copies of it

What the actual f***. How were we supposed to know it was going back up for order? Last I heard they had removed the listing completely from the site so it wasn’t even possible to check for stock.
I can’t refresh it every minute of every day in the off chance that it’s there… This is an absolute mess.

I’ve been refreshing my emails on and off since 20th September when their initial email said they would open orders “very soon”.
They then send this one out 2 minutes after I entered a meeting for work which lasted an hour. So of course I missed it. Absolutely shocking man, such bad service.

After the utter failure of the Wii U, they’ve turned their fortune around exponentially. Would be a terrible business decision to drop this concept for the next system, whatever that may be!

@AndyVGR look at him at any kind of convention. You can tell he absolutely loves what he does and he completely embodies the characters he plays.
I don’t think there’s any chance he was offered. Hollywood probably just want to attach a big name to get some more people to come see it.

My favourite memory is when Nintendo shafted him in favour of Chris Pratt. (Seriously gutted he didn’t get to do the voice, he’s the only Mario we’ve ever know and does it so well)

@Anti-Matter I know nothing about this game, but I’d bet a large sum that it’s nothing but shovelware aimed at wee lassies who don’t know the difference between a good game and a poor game. I doubt a review would be very kind to it.

I just think it’s a bit of an oxymoron to write that you can easily recommend it to anyone, but non-fans of the series will lose out on some extra brilliance. You’ve already given the game glowing praise so surely it’s quality speaks for itself and non-fans will still have a good time.

As others have said, some of these ‘cons’ have almost felt like a tick-box exercise or looking for faults where there are none.

The last 2 cons are extremely stupid.

Never read this article at the time because I had a base model Switch and it didn’t affect me. But can confirm, this issue is still present on the new Splatoon OLED. And it’s p***ing me right off.

“Endless” is most definitely an exaggeration. Maybe we should talk about Skyrim, which, again, is getting rereleased.

Sucks for them, but Aeternoblade is one game I’ve never cared for. Both of them look distinctly average and they just seem to fart them out on every system possible.

Absolutely called it. It’s the easiest game for them to port cause of the 360 version so why not! Will be picking up day one.

@BTB20 okay, sure, that’s one obscure example in their 40+ year history of making games. There’s so many more that have never had any kind of rerelease and you know it.

I like that they’re pulling some obscure titles from their back catalog (something perhaps Nintendo can learn from…) but I’ve yet to pick up one of these collections that really interests me.

Yeah I could have told you this series was dead before this interview. Zip-Lash was dire.
