Can’t wait to bomb some Dodongos.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Mario Vs Donkey Kong games. It’s missing some of that creative magic we’ve come to expect from the main games.
This really had to be at least a 9 for me to pick it up, so no chance of that happening now.

Really confused by… all of his words to be honest. He left in 2020 after what sounds like he basically sold his “baby” and handed over creative control to others. I bet he wasn’t complaining when he got a fat pay check at the time.
And yeah, the game has nearly been out for 5 and a half years. Probably definitely absolutely time for something new.

@IceEarthGuard we all have our own opinions, Jarrett. Considering she hasn’t worked on a Pokemon project since she was Ash, and was easily her most recognisable role, she’s clearly still clinging onto that in 2024. It’s not rude, she has not been relevant in Pokemon for almost 20 years lollllll.

She literally addressed her own dilemma by stating that it’s par for the course when it comes to being an actor. It’s the nature of the industry. I’m sorry but, move on to new projects and stop trying to remain relevant in this space.

@sleepinglion really? That’s your attitude towards the game because someone has found one of the most niche and random exploits imaginable? Glitches and tricks are found in games all the time. How were the QA team supposed to know that this, of all things, was even possible?

Limited Run currently have Bill and Ted in their physical year end sale, so this will no doubt be a ploy to get rid of excess stock that they have of a game which no one really wanted, because it’s trash.

Rated 7 out of 10 from this very site, but is a a GotY contender..? Doubt.

Okay I think that’s enough of The Game Awards for one year. General consensus is that they’re one big hype builder, not really about celebrating gaming, Geoff Keighley is a tool, etc.

@MS7000 hardly disdain for older titles, or else there wouldn’t have been remakes of Link’s Awakening and Skyward Sword after Breath of the Wild. And, using your own words, they have embraced both styles of game.

They’ll probably put out a separate release when the full DLC is available too. If there’s one company who completely epitomises quantity over quality, it’s Game Freak.

I’m just glad to finally see Origins released in PAL territories. Already own the first one on Gamecube (which I’ve admittedly never played), but I couldn’t miss this collection.

I played this at my brothers tonight on his PS5. Really curious to see how Switch handles the entire game tbh. The seamless transition from character select menu to actual fight is particularly impressive.

If anyone else follows Charles on Instagram, one of the first things you’ll notice is his sincerity and genuine passion for Nintendo and the characters he’s portrayed. It would be so easy for someone to stand in front of a camera and deliver a template, corporate bs message, but Charles’ enthusiasm is legitimate and will be sorely missed.
Wishing him the best in everything that he does.

Was always hoping for a physical of this (very much expected iam8bit to have had one for PS4 by now), maybe we’ll get one for Switch. £33 was too much for a download only game for me.
