Ugh, more gushing for a new game on a system I don't yet own is pretty discouraging.

But anyways, I'll always have a soft spot for Sunshine as my favorite 3D entry. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (the original) is my favorite non-traditional Mario. With 2D its always up in the air but I enjoyed Super Mario World the most; both in All-Stars and as Mario Advance 2 on GBA.

I always thought Mario would wear a Victorian style swimsuit. But hey I'm not one to judge his desire to show his beefy pecs.

@Biff_ARMStrong You're probably one of those people who's never actually played any 3D Sonic game and just goes off the popular trend of calling the series "dead."

Sega is bringing care and quality back to the franchise, and people are still bringing up Sonic '06; a 10+ year old game. smh

Why can't they just put it on VC, along with the original? I doubt its the major selling point for most buyers.

Nintendo really hit all the right buttons for me this time around. 2 new Metroids in the works, in addition to a remake of one of my absolute favorite games Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.

What an amazing first day! The best Nintendo's done in years. 2 new Metroid games, a remake of Superstar Saga, (one of my fav games of all time) in addition to Mario Odyssey and Sonic Forces! So many games that I'll be clamoring for now! Thank you Nintendo, you really brightened my day!

That animation is beautiful! Really hoping its used in the actual game! Sonic's going to have a big return to form this year.

Oh man that would be amazing! Superstar Saga is one of my childhood favorites that I still play through on a yearly basis. I would love to see it remade in some form!

Its a very sleek design and a lot more portable compared to my New 3DS XL. I don't have much reason to get one but who knows...

It pays to wait. There's not much worth playing right away.

Come Christmas time when Mario Odyssey hopefully launches; (and who knows what else after E3) guarantee the kinks will be ironed out.

Wow, lots of fun looking indies! I've been going through a bit of a gaming dry spell lately. Not a whole lot of new stuff has been wowing me much on Wii U besides replaying some of my favorite GBA games. I have some 3DS eShop games I want to try out but I'm worried I might not like 'em.

Anyways, I'm really trying to hold back on getting a Switch until at least Mario Odyssey; but stuff like Mr. Shifty ,Shakedown Hawaii, Blaster Master Zero, and Runner 3 are really tempting me to get one sooner.

Never change Nintendo.

I love using my Mii whenever possible. I like having a fun caricature of myself racing or fighting alongside some of my favorite videogame characters!

I'm really on board with all the stuff Switch is packing like the incredibly versatile Joy-Cons, HD rumble, and optional portability, etc.

But game-wise all that really got me legitimately interested was Mario Odyssey... its almost a misstep to not have it come out sooner, but I guess that's why all their attention has been focused Zelda being the big seller for the launch period.

While I never got MK8 either, I might just wait until Mario Odyssey comes out before "making the Switch."

The Batman Arkham and Star Wars ones looked very good running on Wii hardware. The Arkham play style looks like it was adjusted for Wii fairly well. The use of pointer controls looked easy to wield. I enjoyed both Force Unleashed Wii ports so I'm sure RFS would've done these franchises good.

Its a shame they never came to be... Wii was a fantastic console!

This would be very cool if true. I still have/regularly play my original Gamecube games though. I was able to track down Luigi's Mansion a few months back after trading it in a decade or so ago. While it wasn't as fun as I remembered, it was still a blast to play again!

Its catchy, easy to explain, and just plain works! This is a total 180 to the whole "Wii U being a Wii add-on" confusion.

@VoodooTrumpet Agreed. I'm STILL finding games that I want try out (or play again due to regretful trade-ins) on Gamecube after all this time. Such a vast library to explore!

Wii U really didn't have much for me to get into after the first 2 years. I only have 6 retail games that I thoroughly enjoyed, and I'm sure most of them will be ported to Switch.

I'm really hoping for some sort of Metroid and/or F-Zero tease; anything at all! I'm already looking forward to the next 3D Sonic and Mario titles, so Metroid and/or F-Zero would completely fill out my "hype train ticket."

I'd really like to see the Batman Arkham games come to the Switch. Especially after the recent re-mastered versions just came out.

It'd be cool to include all 4 on one cartridge if that was possible!

What an ingenious and slick machine Nintendo has unveiled!

After this past year of being underwhelmed overall by the Wii U's offerings, this really grabs my attention with its neat little Joy-Cons and the idea of playing console games on the go!

I'm definitely eager to learn more and hope March doesn't take too long!

I'm beyond hyped. The time has finally come!

I'm seriously considering that new 2DS bundle now, as I've felt a bit ripped-off upgrading to the N3DS XL for nearly 3 times as much with no real extras to speak of.

I never got MK7 so that would be a fantastic bonus!

Funny vid, Luigi got lucky there lol. Regarding the bundle I'm really tempted to trade in my New 3DS XL for this instead; because I don't really use the 3D feature anymore, I don't care for the SNES-exclusive eShop games, and I never got MK7 either.

I got the Bit.Trip Complete a couple years ago and got Runner 2 not too long after it came out. I enjoyed most of the original ones on Complete; and while I really liked the art style, humor and Charles Martinet's VA in Runner 2, something about the rhythm seemed off compared to the first one.

Its cool to hear a three-quel is in the works and I look forward to learning more!

Wow where do I start? Some of my favorite games are on the ol' Cube: the always entertaining Smash Bros Melee, the unique twist on platforming that was Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid freaking Prime, and the tough-but-fun F-Zero GX.

Others favorites include various Sonic games like Adventure 2 Battle and Heroes, Star Fox Assault, Star Wars Rogue Squadron's II & III, and even movie-licensed games like Batman Begins and Spider-Man 1 & 2 were good.

Good times...

I'll get it when its released for the US. I can't believe we've only gotten one other Metroid theme up to this point.

Epic Mickey was a fantastic idea in its conceptual stages with its darker atmosphere and creative way of bringing Oswald back to the public eye. But the final product was a bit more watered-down in terms of spookiness, and chalk-full of boring fetch quests on the side that only a completionist would really care about finishing.

The second one seemed a bit rushed and the co-op was often times frustrating. Power of Illusion is okay, though I haven't finished it yet.

I'm a pretty big Donald fan, but I personally never got into the whole Ducktales universe. I probably would've given it a try though.

Part of me feels a bit bummed that we're finally getting a pretty nice New 3DS bundle a few months after I upgraded to a New 3DS XL. Ah well, the face plates aren't that big a deal anymore imo.

I might get Tomodatchi Life now with it being cheaper; I didn't feel it was worth the $40 price point for the very oddball title it is.

Happy birthday Ms. Aran! Metroid has been one of, if not my absolute favorite game franchise ever since I started with Fusion all those years ago.

Prime 3 was always my personal favorite, as I felt it had a more proper cinematic feel without making it a literal interactive movie. (cough Other M cough)

Its sad Nintendo never wants to acknowledge a series' anniversary if its not Mario, Zelda, or Pokémon. (aka the cash-cows) I'm hopeful for Metroid's future and am fairly certain an NX reveal will be coming.

I've wanted to read these comics for a long time as I thought they looked quite fun.

I think the Super Metroid and Star Fox comics getting reprinted would be awesome as well!

Amazing statues. Expensive, but amazing. Really makes me wish it was for an actual Prime game though.

I'm still a bit on the fence about FF; the demo was a nice gesture, but it got boring pretty fast.

I've cooled down a LOT since last E3 over the game's reveal. This very generous gift further swayed me into giving it a chance.

I don't know what to say... it looks VERY promising after all this Boom junk. The fact it'll come to NX has me super excited!

The Resistance tagline already has me thinking up ideas about the story. Something like a time traveling, Sonic CD-type setup with the Classic and Modern eras; perhaps Eggman has taken over the eras? Oh the possibilities!

I'm loving it so far! Blast Ball is seriously a LOT more fun than it originally looked. The controls are great and the customization is a nice bonus!
