Eh, SSE was a terrible over-budgeted fan fiction anyways. I still enjoy watching the cutscenes from time to time, but the overall story was just terrible. Of course all the Kirby characters had the biggest roles in the story; because Sakurai secretly wants Kirby to be Nintendo's new mascot
I'm dying for a new F-Zero; an HD remake would be good enough for me. Please do it Nintendo! I need more than another Mario Kart for my racing needs. MKW wasn't enough on its own. Heck, GX is the only GC racing game I have.
I wholeheartedly agree with this article. Everyone experiences playing games, whether retro or modern, in their own ways.
Having VC on Wii was and is a great way to experience games you remember from your youth, or ones you've never heard of but want to try for youself.
I had fond memories of playing Mario 64 and SSB at friends' houses, but I never owned an N64 myself. So buying them on VC was a great nostalgia trip as well as a way of finally owning them myself.
I hope this game is good. I hold Superstar Saga in such high regards that when I got BIS, I really didn't enjoy it all that much; never bothered with PIT, either.
Hopefully Dream Team can regain my love for the M&L series.
@cyrus_zuo I can relate with being on the fence. Real pinball is always more fun to play, but you wouldn't have moving characters on the tables.
I got Zen Pinball on 3DS awhile back and I was bored of it within days. Star Wars is the prime reason I'd get this, also the promise of more tables being made (Ep. I please?) makes it more tempting. So I guess its more of a "wait and see" situation for me.
I already have this on my Zero Mission cart. Its definately not aged as gracfully as SMB, but its a great piece of Metroid history fans should check out if they haven't already.
IMO, the best way to play, is with the debug code:
NARPAS_SW0RD
000000_000000
I'm sure 3D World will be great, but when you look at Mario's main console games, you can see it dip down after Galaxy.
Galaxy 2 was an average sequel, 3D Land was overall bland, NSMB2 was a forgettable retrend, and NSMBU was basically NSMBW with an HD upgrade.
I really hope Nintendo tries to go back to the era of SM64 and Sunshine, when every new Mario entry was a fresh experience, with only minor similarities with past games.
I thoroughly enjoy this game even to this very day.
The review was a bit hostile towards anything that wasn't a mission set solely in a ship. Truth be told its nice to have a variety of missions, especially when you're on foot. Because in RS II, I never felt like I was with any human beings; just ships with voice chatter every so often. Its also fun playing missions straight out of the movies too, on foot and all. They give fans a rush of nostalgia with short clips from the films set throughout those missions that gives it the extra does of memorable moments from the OT.
Geez just confirm or deny it already! The only reason I want EA to make games on Wii U, is because they have all the rights to making Star Wars titles.
@Le_Wario26 I saw it opening weekend, then a second time a little later, even saw the 3D Re-release, and also own it on VHS, DVD, and a VHS Collector's Edition. Not a bad SW film.
I'll never fully understand what's literally the biggest bandwagon for hatred on one character, that's not even close to being as bad as people make him out to be.
It almost seems like a bad idea now to have both a Smash Bros. community on Miiverse, as well as Sakurai himself posting new pictures of the games every day.
Hundreds of comments are just people whining about characters they want him to put in, no matter how ridiculous it may be. (Patrick from SpongeBob; really?)
This was a very dull E3 for Nintendo, nothing got me super-excited, not even Smash Bros. I know I'll be buying it, as well as Mario 3D World and Kart 8, but I still wish they revealed a new Metroid, Star Fox, or F-Zero.
The first was a pretty good, if a bit of a standard 3D platformer. An actual story this time around would be nice, as well as playable Rudolpho.
If they decide on releasing it on Wii U it would definitely be one pretty-looking game. The first one's visuals outdid many, if not most of Wii's retail titles.
Man I'm so pumped! Can't wait to see Mario U, Smash Bros 4, Sonic Lost World, Mario Kart, and hopefully Metroid, F-Zero, and/or Star Fox! Only another day until Wii U's life truly begins!
Very, very cool! I still think the SMB movie gets too much hate; it was a darker, stylized reimagining of the series; its not like the games ceased to exist after the film.
Its interesting seeing Wart, Shy Guys, etc. as they might've been portrayed in a sequel film.
Good to hear! At least there won't be another painful waiting time like post-Generations for Sega to announce the 2014 game; since we know that's when it'll come out.
I downloaded the first one due to positive word of mouth and I found it quite boring after a while. 15 levels with the exact same objective isn't very impressive. WayForward should make more story-focused games besides Shantae.
I'm really interested as to what the 3D Mario title will be like. But my other ones are Sonic Lost World, Retro's secret game, Smash Bros. 4, and Mario Kart.
I'm really hoping for a surprise reveal of a new Metroid and/or Star Fox too.
F-Zero will probably be awhile, if Mr. Miyamoto's comment from a few months back was any indication.
@ompgsag @SparkOfSpirit What's wrong with you guys? I'd love another Prime, even if it wasn't called "Prime" per-say; since the trilogy was neatly wrapped up in Corruption.
Anyways if its a new IP, that's cool. Retro defiantly has the talent to create an original universe with memorable characters, great gameplay, a captivating story, etc.

Re: Sonic Lost World Has a Casino Stage, And it Looks Kind of Fun
@Retro_on_theGo Took the words right out of my mouth. Classic Eggman rules!
Re: Video: Sonic Busts Out Some Colours Moves in This New Lost World Trailer
Looks great! But its coming out on October 22nd!?
That's 3 days before Arkham Origins... man I better get my wallet ready for a double wammy!
Re: Nintendo Reveals The 2013 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
Kinda random to have a Majora's Mask CD; its supposed to be the Year of Luigi and he's neglected to a poster? We couldn't at least get a Luigi hat?
I've never played MM. So I'll probably go with the posters.
Re: Capcom To Reveal More Info On Mega Man's 25th Anniversary At Comic-Con 2013
Best case scenario: they'll publicly apologize for everything bad they've done regarding the Blue Bomber, and finish Legends 3, Maverick Hunter, etc.
Now that would be quite the turnaround for his anniversary.
Re: Zen Studios Would Love To Make An Indiana Jones Themed Pinball Game
I'd like to see DLC for a Jar Jar table .
Re: Review: Metroid (Wii U eShop / NES)
This game is one tough cookie after being spoiled by maps and "beacon recieved" moments from later Metroid games.
I caution anyone new to the series who wants to jump in where it all started.

The Force is strong with Star Wars Pinball.

@mr570 Thanks! It just came to me.
Re: Review: Star Wars Pinball (Wii U eShop)
These are the pinball tables I'm looking for.
Re: Review: Vampire: Master of Darkness (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
This sparked my interest when I saw it pop up in the sShop, I might download it sometime.
Re: Hideki Kamiya Believes The Wonderful 101 Won't Need DLC
I plan on getting this a little later in the year; Arkham Origins is my highest priority.
W101 looks like a very quirky, hectic, fresh title that Wii U really needs right now.

I'd personally give Rebel Strike a 8.0.
Re: Deathstroke DLC Confirmed For Batman: Arkham Origins On Wii U
That's great news! Now what about the supposed PS3-exclusive content featuring the Adam West and Azreal-themed suits?
I'd at least want the Adam West suit. So awesome.
Re: EA: Frostbite 3 On Wii U "Not Impossible"
Geez just confirm or deny it already! The only reason I want EA to make games on Wii U, is because they have all the rights to making Star Wars titles.
Re: Star Wars Pinball Bringing the Force to Wii U on 11th July
I might get this... partly because I want a new Star Wars game to play. But pinball is only interesting for so long before it becomes mediocre.
One SW game that I've been wanting to see a release for the longest time, is the awesomely-epic SW Trilogy Arcade!
That would've been a PERFECT game to port on Wii!
Re: Happy 22nd Birthday, Sonic!
You've come a looong way, haven't you Sonic? Have a few slices, you deserve it!
Colors personally got me back into the series after the awkward time period between '06 and Unleashed; as of now its my fav. 3D Sonic title.
As for 2D: the greatness that is Sonic CD!
Re: Review: Sonic Blast (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
A fair review. I personally thinks its an interesting oddball game in the series.
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (North America)
Of course the one time I leave to go on vacation they finally put Sonic Blast on the eShop!
Add in the fact that my 3DS hates any Wi-Fi signal other than my home's and that makes it even more annoying!
I will get Sonic Blast!... Eventually...
Re: Super Mario 3D World Producer Teases New Annoucement
New Super F-Zero 3D World U?
Re: Not All Super Smash Bros. Characters Will Make The Leap To Wii U And 3DS
I hope Wolf, Toon Link, and Dedede are cut. Two of which are glorified clones, while the other is simply there because Sakurai wanted him in Smash 64.
I'm so sure there's a huge number of people out there who's best fighter is Dedede, or even wanted him in the first place for that matter.

Re: Steel Diver Will Be Nintendo's First Free-To-Play Game
I've been thinking about buying this for the longest time. It looks like a solid, fun title that was overlooked at the 3DS's launch.
But hey, free is always nice too!
Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 Survey

Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
I love this game so much. No one really talks about it, or holds it in high regard as opposed to the Genesis titles.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th June (North America)
No Sonic Blast... but Sonic GG was my second most-wanted of the GG batch. Love the uniqueness to it, compared to the original Genesis game.
Re: Sonic Team's Iizuka Recognises Sonic Lost World, Mario Galaxy Comparisons
I'm a little disappointed that the release date has been pushed back to "Holiday 2013" when it was originally coming out in the Fall.
But hey, that can only mean they want to polish and tweak it so it'll be the absolute best it can be, right?
Re: Poll: Which Wii U E3 Game Has Impressed You the Most?
3D World looks interesting, Kart 8 looks fun, and Smash Bros. 4 so far looks like a home run; except for a few character choices.
But where's my Metroid, Star Fox and F-Zero!?
Re: Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its First Wii U Title
I'm deeply upset. I was hoping Retro would make a new Metroid, to help get rid of the series' sour taste since Other M.
Re: Nintendo Reveal Why Its 3D Mario Title Isn't Super Mario Galaxy 3
Its funny how irrelevant this will make the New SMB series be. This is what it should've been like from the start!
But I still don't get one thing; why cats?
Re: Talking Point: Looking Ahead to Nintendo's E3
Man I'm so pumped! Can't wait to see Mario U, Smash Bros 4, Sonic Lost World, Mario Kart, and hopefully Metroid, F-Zero, and/or Star Fox! Only another day until Wii U's life truly begins!

Can't wait for Lost World!
Re: It's Still Not Known If Batman: Arkham Origins DLC Is Coming To Wii U
I'll be disappointed, but that won't stop me from buying the game altogether. Origins will be amazing; with or without an additional playable skin.
Re: Talking Point: E3 2013 Is All About The Games
Without hesitating, I can defiantly say that Nintendo's going to rule this year's E3!
Re: Mighty Switch Force! 2 Blazing Into The North American 3DS eShop Next Week
I downloaded the first one due to positive word of mouth and I found it quite boring after a while. 15 levels with the exact same objective isn't very impressive. WayForward should make more story-focused games besides Shantae.
Re: Get Excited, Nintendo's E3 Site Is Out In The Wild
@Sony_70 You don't tease a guy like that, man!
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2013 - Summer Edition
I'm really interested as to what the 3D Mario title will be like. But my other ones are Sonic Lost World, Retro's secret game, Smash Bros. 4, and Mario Kart.
I'm really hoping for a surprise reveal of a new Metroid and/or Star Fox too.
F-Zero will probably be awhile, if Mr. Miyamoto's comment from a few months back was any indication.
