You've been apart of my life for as long as I remember. You've had a lot of great games and some not-so-great, but you always pull through!

Here's to the next 25 years!

I always preferred Eggman. He looks like one and puts "Egg" in the name of hundreds of machines, bases, and ships; so it makes more sense that way. He's a evil doctor who's obsessed with Eggs!

People who say that nonsense about his name being silly; may I direct your attention to a guy called "The Joker."

Robotnik is cool in its own right too; but it just reminds me of the Sonic SatAM and AoStH incarnations of the Doc. Both of which I don't really care for.

Please legitimately release the anniversary title on a Nintendo console this time Sega, and not a lazy afterthought. (Generations 3DS)

I haven't fully enjoyed a Sonic game since Colors, (Generations 3DS was meh, Lost World was very meh) but I'm hoping for the best. I've been a longtime fan, and always want to see the blue hedgehog succeed.

That's great it'll have amiibo support. I'm still pretty excited for FF because I'm a hopeless fan of the series lol. It really could've benefitted from being included E3 though...

I'm sorry to say, but this E3 was mostly disappointing for me. I'm not into Zelda or Pokémon, so the Waluigi amiibo reveal was my highlight lol.

I'm really surprised they didn't mention or show any Federation Force; it comes out in 2 months so why not? I've been craving a new Metroid title for too long; hopefully I'll enjoy FF for what it is.

Waluigi finally reigns as an amiibo! One of the few surprises I was hoping would happen.

I still honestly don't get why Shantae is a supposedly great series. I feel like most play them for the way-too-obvious fanservice. :/

Part of me believes they'll reveal something about the NX; like a blank game cartridge or even a teaser logo. I feel like Reggie's comments about the NX last year weren't officially confirmed beforehand. Nintendo is always about surprises!

I bought this and tried liking it, but none of the control schemes were very good imo. Since I couldn't play multiplayer I got bored with it pretty fast.

One of the few Metroid games I don't care for.

Reeeally hoping Nintendo has a few surprises in store; just something besides Zelda. I still can't believe they'd be that assuming about the series' popularity with Nintendo fans. Not everyone is into the series.

Also hoping they remember Metroid's 30th anniversary is this August. Zelda's gotten plenty of attention for its anniversaries...

It really seems like Nintendo themselves has forgotten most things that came from these games, besides Daisy and Wario. Its a shame, cause their uniqueness is a nice breakoff from the traditional Mario formula.

@3MonthBeef Yeah I really don't follow much either. I know of Megaman Zero and Megaman ZX, but the middle reddish ones look so similar.

But bottom line: Megaman isn't soley the NES incarnation to people, and others shouldn't be so quick to judge an entire unaired TV series based on (most likely) unfinished production artwork.

Though I personally don't care much myself, I just want to give it a fair chance.

@3MonthBeef That's often true about what incarnation one was exposed to first. Me personally I played some of the X games first, and got into Legends a bit later. Its been one of my favorite games for a long time now.

I just prefer the adventure and exploration elements of the Legends series, to very tired NES style that honestly comes across as lazy after the first 3; let alone up to 10.

With the TV show design itself, I'm pretty sure this isn't a fully-accurate image of what he'll look like in the show. It seems like concept art more than anything.

At least he's blue; unlike 4 of those other MM incarnations above. That should count for something right?

I'm not much of a Megaman fan, so this doesn't affect me much.(I really only enjoyed the Legends games) But why are people acting like this is the first time he's gotten a new look?

I'm so sure every other MM sub-series design is universally loved.

I really want to see Waluigi and Bowser Jr. in the Mario line.

With all that DLC spanning the previous 6 movies in some form(playable Jar Jar ftw!) and all the cartoon series, they could've just made one mega Lego Star Wars game. Maybe "Lego SW Legends", or "Lego SW Generations?"

Modern gaming is becoming less of a hobby and more of an investment as we go on with this day one DLC crap...

Can't wait! I feel as though Sega will either give into fan demand and release a "true" Adventure 3, or try something completely different that's hopefully just as awesome.

It definitely can't be worse than all that Sonic Boom junk. What a waste of a new Sonic show/side-series...

Me personally, I don't see the appeal of collecting things just because they're related to Nintendo. (or anything else for that matter)

I'd only collect the things I truly love and/or have fond memories of. There's just no way people who have walls and walls of --say NES games, can honestly say they like every single one of them.

Here's hoping Sega finally reveals the 25th anniversary game at E3. Until then I'll go replay Sonic Heroes on GC; still a fun game!

It doesn't sound as bad as Sony's Emoji movie currently in development. No seriously look it up.

How many updates does it take to make a game slightly better? I swear there were more than 10 updates for the 3DS version before now.

I personally got sick of the 3DS version, and the Wii U version I barely play anymore. Smash has become too crazy compared to where it began.

While I never played NSMB, I did get NSMB Wii the week it came out; had a lot of fun for months! Didn't really enjoy NSMB2, never played NSMBU, but found Super Luigi U to be an interesting game; being a harder version of Mario U but with minor tweaks.

Hopefully the "New" series will be in hibernation for awhile; at least until it gets a major shake-up. It went from novel to lazy pretty fast.

A Metroid movie, pretty please! Its just tailor-made for the big screen! Imagining the amazing Prime trilogy visuals, and all the great music spanning the series' history being cranked up to eleven for a movie... I'm geeking myself out!

Then why are you only showcasing 1 game at E3 this year?

NX is without a doubt replacing Wii U. They're lying through their teeth at this point.

@allav866 Yeah, definitely! His scenes were always my favorite parts. A fun villain can make a movie more watchable if you ask me.

Very exciting news to hear! I feel like they'd go with Mario and/or Zelda first. Hopefully not too far off after that, they'll give Metroid a proper cinematic treatment. (Other M's "movie mode" is how not to do it) F-Zero and Star Fox would definitely be amazing too!

Oh wow, I remember this movie! It wasn't terrible; definitely an interesting watch. As for the game its unfortunate it never came out, it looks pretty okay.

I got the 4in. Bowser Jr. recently and hope to nab Waluigi soon. I'm glad Jakks is still going strong with WoN. I'd love to see them make more Metroid characters; like the bounty hunters from Corruption and Hunters, or even some Space Pirates and GF soldiers; also a deluxe Ridley would be amazing!

"Wii would like to play" was always my favorite.

Slogan or not it was short, catchy, and memorable.

I feel bad for the 300 employees. But Infinity itself was executed poorly.

Hey Nintendo, remember that another beloved franchise of yours is having its 30th anniversary in August! That's no small achievement! Please at least acknowledge it.

Anyone else miss when characters in Lego games didn't talk? It made the games more charming imo.

I'd just love to one day be buying a ticket for a live-action Metroid movie... it'd be so surreal!

A very unexpected but welcome surprise! Hopefully it'll be cheesy fun at the very least.

I became a fan of the Shinobi series not too long ago when I bought GG Shinobi after it first came out on the eShop. After that I got the 3DS Shinobi, Shadow Dancer, and 3D Shinobi III. Very fun and difficult series that needs more attention!

Meh. Wake me when Waluigi and Bowser Jr. are released in the Mario amiibo line. That's the main reason I haven't bought Bowser Jr.'s SSB amiibo yet; I want to have a uniformity with the Mario cast.

I'm really looking forward to Federation Force, its been too long since we've been put into the Metroid universe. I'd really like to see one more "real" Mario platformer (no NSMB-types please) done for the system too.

I would hope there'd be many games in development; especially New 3DS XL-exclusive ones. Give me a 2.5D Metroid and I'll be happy, Big N. The 3DS isn't that old and it would be ridiculous to believe it to be entering its final years.

Uh, Nintendo? You do realize not EVERYONE is into Zelda right? What do you expect those uninterested to do during your presentation?

It'll make more sense to launch next year instead of rush it out by Christmas 2016. I can imagine all the confusion it would cause for regular consumers seeing 3 Nintendo systems on shelves during the holidays. I won't lie though, I'm a bit let down regardless; as the Wii U really seems like its on its last leg.

So then: no NX reveal and Zelda U being the only playable game there? My E3 hype just dive-bombed.

I'm looking forward to playing a new Star Fox after so long. (Assault was the last new one I got; loved it)

I'm a bit nervous/excited to see how good the Gamepad integration will go for me as I've barely gotten any "true" use out it since Arkham City, Nintendo Land, and Game & Wario came out.

Its great to have the series truly come out of retirement! Welcome back Fox!

Me personally, I've gotten bored with amiibo, as they add little to nothing with most games now; also I'm more of an action figure guy when it comes to collectables as opposed to statues. The World Of Nintendo figures are more appealing to me in that regard. Hopefully they'll make a Captain Falcon figure down the line...

Loved it! The animation was gorgeous, the voice-acting was great, (although Slippy's voice is a tad TOO feminine if you ask me) and the action was stelller! I'd love to see more Star Fox shorts and even similar things done like this with other series like Metroid and F-Zero.

Star Fox has never been consistent since SF64, and I'm okay with that. Assault and Adventures are personal favorites of mine due to their uniqueness compared to the rest of the series. Zero still looks like it'll be great imo.

With Other M... I hated it with a fiery passion mainly due to Samus' characterization, and still don't think highly of it; but I found the gameplay itself pretty fun. In recent years I've come to wonder how different the reception might've been if the game took place much earlier in the timeline, possibly before even Zero Mission. Samus would be a more inexperienced bounty hunter and her trials through the game (confronting Ridley for the first time since she was a child and such) would help mold her into the character we all know and love. With a few tweaks to the story to show that, I think Other M would've been a better received game overall.

I'd much prefer seeing physical rewards. Club Nintendo is still sorely missed by this guy.

So it'll be like FNAF minus its fandom? I'm in.

I'm giving it a fair chance. Here's hoping its an appetizer for something bigger on the horizon.
