I might need to check one of these demos. There's been a lot of hype around dual-stick controls, which I hate in action games. What I want is something like Metroid Prime GameCube controls.

While Arceus wasn't a technical powerhouse, it did have really good art direction, taking inspiration from classic Japanese painting. I kind of wish they had done something similar here (maybe try to look impressionist?).

It's actually 3 special booster packs today, 1 for each of the Genetic Apex variants.

I did get a rare pack once, during a 10-pack opening. Unfortunately, opening packs tends to glitch out on my phone (everything else works fine), and I had to close and open the app. I didn't lose the cards, I just didn't get to see the opening of the pack.

When I reopened the app, all I had to do was sort my master card list by most recent and scroll through everything I got from that 10-pack opening.

Imagine waking up to You Will Know Our Names from Xenoblade Chronicles.

I tried to get in, but my work obligations held me up until 5 minutes after. I was too late.

I see no mention of an NDA. Not sure if that's interesting, or just something yet to come.

@Desrever I disagree. What hackers and scammers care about most is a soft target.

They missed the opportunity to use Feraligatr and Krookodile.

Mario. He does pretty well in any genre he gets into. Heck, Nintendo even experimented with this in 3D Land.

I prefer exploration/puzzle solving over combat in general. The "mandatory" style is more like a puzzle, and is therefore more fun to me.

Ugly Sonic was great in the Rescue Rangers movie.

Redeads in Ocarina were terrifying, freezing you in place and then squeezing the life out of you, heartbeat by slow, agonizing heartbeat.

As a Gargoyles fan, I do try to spend money in ways that lets Disney know I want more. That will include buying this, eventually.

I am cautiously excited for the Disney+ reboot, and I am loving the comics that started almost a year ago.

I thought of searching for WiiU and 3DS reveals, until I remembered that was back in the days of live E3 presentations.

Can't really say I grew up with it (I was born in the Orwellian year of 1984, and was in 8th or 9th grade when the initial wave of Pokemania hit the States), but I can still identify with the sentiment of "Damn, that makes me feel old."

The new graphics look good in stills (and I like how they're more show-accurate), but they do not look good in motion.

I do like how the trailer uses Keith David performing the opening narration from season 2. It sounds to me like a new recording rather than archived audio. I hope he's in the game proper, even if it's only that narration.

I will buy, primarily because I want Disney to know that I want more Gargoyles.

I can't wait for Entei to be turned into something ridiculous, maybe a trilobite. I'm all for more silliness.

@Bret Star Fox 2 got released later because they had it already done back in the day, but never released it. (Same for Earthbound Beginnings)

I believe if Pokemon TCG 2 were to come out nowadays, it would be more of a Fire Emblem NES treatment, where they actually do the translation recently. So don't hold your breath.

@Tyranexx A few years ago, they announced something, but nobody really knew exactly what it was. They were pretty vague.

Don't recall ever having heard of Kung Fu Tea. I figured the nearest location would be something like 3 states away, but there's actually 2 in my city, just in places that I don't often have reason to go. I will consider looking into this.

I was considering using a duplication glitch to finish off my armor upgrades, but hadn't yet (still working on other things). I was always more interested in exploration and puzzle solving than combat, so I need more monster parts. Also star fragments.

Guess I'll wait and see whether the previous one works or keep working on it until the next one is found.

Isn't this why Perfect Dark didn't have the planned Game Boy Camera connectivity? That was over 20 years ago.

Are Wortsworth's readings middle English? I thought they were more like early modern English, like Chaucer (kind of a transition between middle and modern).

It was a lot like what I remember of reading Chaucer, where you can get most of it if you read phonetically, and then figure out the more archaic vocabulary from context.

Admittedly, when playing I skipped over most of that because it's a skill that I'm not accustomed to using when playing a video game. Maybe I should try again.
