Re: Editorial: From Metroid: Other M to Star Fox Zero, the Awkward Experimentation With Beloved Franchises

NintendoFan64

"Perhaps the best approach for fans is to accept these uncertainties and strap in for the ride. Nintendo is never going to stop reaching for new ideas."...Okay. It is okay to experiment every now and then and try new things. I am okay with that. But that doesn't mean that fans have to eat up everything that is presented to them. If you do not like the changes that are being made, that is fine. You are allowed to express your opinion. you do not have to be this mindless sheep who follows Nintendo's every command. It is okay to experiment, but not every new idea is a good one, and in cases where Nintendo might screw up, it is our job as the consumers, the people who are supposed to be giving Nintendo our money, to let them know that they screwed up.

Re: Feature: Five Key Reveals and Releases That Will Define Nintendo's 2016

@DESS-M-8 …Why did you reply to this? It’s been 3 months. Do you really think I care about this three months later? Do you think that I go to sleep at night telling myself “Hehehe…I’m so right, and everyone else is an idiot!”, and that I need to be put in my place? I don’t. In fact, I forgot about this completely, because it’s been 3 God **** months. Who the Hell cares at this point!? I don’t, and why should you? Is winning this argument really that important to you? We are arguing over a console launch date, and the possibility of a Zelda game being on it! Is this really something getting so worked up over? In fact, why is anyone getting this hung up over this!? I don’t know about you, but I absolutely despise the NX’s hype train, because of how everyone is acting. There are rumors everywhere, and I can guarantee you that most of them are BS. People take analysts’ predictions as facts. People take Nintendo’s words and twist them to form “evidence” for their claims. “Nintendo said it’s a new Zelda game for the Wii U? They’re obviously only saying that because the NX hasn’t been given a real name yet, so they can’t say it’s for that, even thought it’s not a Wii U game, but an NX game!” People keep arguing and insulting eachother over these rumors, acting like spoiled brats! I have been called crazy for not believing the rumors. Oh, yeah! Instead of listening to some random guy on the internet, I’m going to simply wait until Nintendo says something. Clearly I’M the crazy one! Heck, look at your first reply to me. You’ve said that Nintendo stated the NX would come out at the end of this year, and that Zelda NX was happening. I said that Nintendo never once said it would come out this year, and asked why everyone thinks Zelda U would be an NX game. Your response was, and I quote: “OPEN THIS MESSAGE ON25TH DECEMBER 2016. I’m right. You’re wrong. Deal.” WOW. You didn’t even try to make an actual argument. Do you have any idea how immature that sounded? I, just…I’m done. I’m tired of this. I don’t care anymore. If you’re right, you’re right. If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. Nobody cares. I’m done. Do you hear me? I. Am. Done.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Please...it wasn't that bad! Aside from Federation Force...and Amiibo Festival...and Ultra Smash...and no Wii U Zelda...and Nintendo revealing the Smash 4 dlc and Earthbound Beginnings before the show instead of waiting to use them in it...and the skylanders section that went on for too long...and the Wooly World section that was completely pointless...and the "Let's Super Mario" section (I know it was for a good cause, but that section was pretty cringey)...and the fact that the last game they showed was one we've already known about...and the fact that they didn't even mention stuff like the nindies@home event-y'know what? Let's just take comfort that with the NX, this year's E3 will (hopefully) be better...

Re: Review: Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS)

NintendoFan64

@Decapre That's a good question.
@Moon Why does this series even exist? No, really. When people said that they would want a Mario and Sonic crossover game, "sports game centered around the olympics" isn't quite what we had in mind. I mean...why would you decide to make this over a platformer? It just makes no sense...

Re: Nintendo Shuts Down Browser-Based '3D' Legend of Zelda Demo

NintendoFan64

While it was a nice homage, Nintendo DID have every right to take this down. It's a recreation of Zelda you can use on your browser for free, and aside from being 3D, it's pretty much the same (aside from it being incomplete). It's nice to see that the makers are taking this well, and I wish them luck on what comes next for them.

Re: Video: Check Out What Crash Bandicoot Would Look Like as a Smash Character

NintendoFan64

Well, considering that we've gotten Snake and Cloud despite them being more Playstation than Nintendo, sure! Why not?
@Zoda_Fett I thought that he would've become dlc thanks to the ballot. Now that it's over...I'm not too sure if Shovel Knight will get in. And if he did get int, people would probably complain because he's an indie character and not someone more iconic like Bomberman or Rayman (granted, I do think that both deserve a chance to get in, and to be completely honest I think that Rayman is next in line as a guest character thanks to his trophies). Really, the only way I can see it happening now is if A. Super Shovel Knight/Shovel Knight 2 happens, B. his game is really popular in Japan, or C. he ranked very, very high on the ballot (I'm betting/hoping that Nintendo decides to put some of the runner-ups into Smash 5). However, there are a couple of things that I think are in his favor, like the fact that he was the only 3rd-party character outside of Smash to get his own amiibo, and his game was published in Japan by none other than the big N themselves.

Re: The Guy Who Designed Sonic The Hedgehog Supervised On Mario & Sonic At The Rio Olympics

NintendoFan64

@SirQuincealot I didn't say I know for a fact that it's bad. I'm just going off of what others have said and assuming that's the reason it gets hate. The truth of the matter is that there is no conspiracy going on here where people automatically dislike something just because it has even the TINIEST bit of relation to Sonic. In fact, I don't even think many people even knew that Oshima had anything to do with Arzest. People just didn't like it... because they just didn't like it. Also, funny how you're giving @Tsurii flack for calling it a bad game, and that what a bad game is is completely subjective, because when you get down to it, what a good game is is also completely subjective. So why is it that you can say that it's good, yet others can't say it's bad, when both cases are subjective? Also, don't go around saying that people disliking the game only dislike it because of some vendetta against everything Sonic, or that Yoshi's Island was bad, but people just ignore that because they played it as children, because quite frankly it's ridiculous, and it comes off as a ploy to simply disregard people's opinions that differ from yours.
