@Bluerangervegeta A vocal minority? Samurai said he won the Smash Ballot by a landslide. I also wouldn't call him a generic swordfighter when he magic and fights with a giant key.
He seems like he is being cheeky, but honestly I am not sure how anyone is going to get a good coherent script out of Super Mario without getting a little campy.
Netflix is already getting expensive so good and also, how come every article leads to comments ranting about "wokeness" and "political correctness?" I thought we were discussing games.
I'm hoping NIS pulls through, financially or at least is bought by a company that respects their properties like when Atlus was bought by Sega while still remaining creatively independent.
I feel like people are overlooking the fact that this device is running on Linux so it relies on proton to play much of the games on Steam, many of which still have compatibility issues. Also, the jump in quality from the base model to the next one up also means spending over $100 more dollars for any real storage. This is less of a Switch competitor and more of a competitor to handheld PCs like GDP Win. If it's anything like past Valve hardware, it will ride a wave of hype and then fizzle out, leaving a bigger impact of on Steam's back end rather than a large user base like how the Steam Controller became Steam Input.
@blindsquarel They should at least find a compromise, I do find the shrines to quality over quality and do miss the dungeons and atmosphere of classic 3d Zelda as well as music.
@Jcdbengals I got a Galaxy S10 Plus at launch and have used it thoroughly with no noticeable burn-in. I even watch videos and play games with static images such as on-screen controls.
Of course it's not coming. Not in the way we expected at least. The OLED is coming out at the end of the year and March will be the fifth anniversary. At some point, they will probably announce the Switch's successor by 2023. The Switch is doing well, but at some point developers will push a new platform that will most likely look like the "Switch Pro" in the rumors. In fact that device may be real, but isn't a stop gap like presumed by the rumor mill. It could be a prototype of the next system and is probably not final.
@Pod Nintendo could release Game and Watch games for existing smart watches. It might be more profitable even though the novelty of a Nintendo smart watch would be cool.
@Ttim3r You forgot Ness is American and possibly white and the Mario Bros along with Wario are Italian so they are white too. Also Hyrule is based on Europe, granted the Gerudo are supposed to take Middle Eastern influence.
I notice the UI has the N64 system next to the title of the game on the minihame screen. This seems like a possible nod to future dlc or updates with GameCube minigames or boards. Atleast I hope so. The current offering is too sparse.
@Mr-Fuggles777 IDK even know it would be worth the price of PS+ or Xbox Live or even close until they improve the quality and add social features like Party Chat.
If only Game Freak would hire more developers there team is incredibly small for a company worth so much. It would probably help solve a lot of the criticism recent entries have faced as well.
@Ulysses Presumably because it's the currency of choice for commerce and because their is a huge number of users in the US and other countries besides just the UK.
I wish that Pokémon remakes could do something like this. Kanto was only that small because of the hardware. A region based on the Kanto region of Japan should be so much livlier to really do it justice.
@Paraka Alpha Dream was an independent company. I was surprised that Nintendo didn't buy them like Hal Laboratories, but it's not quite the same as Toys For Bob.
@Caryslan If Sony actually cared about their performance in Japan, they would make almost none of the moves they have been making in general. Tim Ryan doesn't care about Japan, because the United States is nearly thrice the size and Europe is an entire continent. He sees dollar signs and that's all. If hey did by Square Enix, it would mostly be for their name and then they would only pump out Tomb Raider and some shell of what Final Fantasy used to be. There certainly wouldn't be Dragon Quest anymore.
@NEStalgia With some rumors mentioning exclusives and the "Super Switch" name, we could be seeing a replacement since the Switch will be 5 years old next March.
They might as well wait just a tad longer and make a Switch 2 that is backwards compatible, because the current Switch is gonna hold back non-exclusive a and the New 3DS didn't sell that many exclusives since it wasn't an entirely new console.

@AugustusOxy The most requested fighter for n the ballot wasn't relevant? Lol
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Final Fighter Is... Kingdom Hearts' Sora!
@TrixieSparkle Honestly, I find projectile heavy characters to be spammed by campers way more than swordfighters.

Re: Poll: Do You Use The Black Or White Theme On Your Nintendo Switch?
The white looks a little washed on my TV and the black looks gay. I switch between the too when I get sick of looking at them. We need more options.

Entertainment Software Agency, the group that runs E3. They tried a similar warning this year.

The thinking of geriatric Japanese businessmen never fails to baffle me. Nintendo is as out of touch as the ESA.
