@PoorGeno I can see what you mean regarding the marketing. they did milk a small relationship in the game like it was big deal and I did see it as sort insincere. I didn't mean to insinuate that you were a bigot. the game itself I wouldn't call propaganda, but I see how the rather misleading advertisement can be defined as such. I'm sorry if I cam off as combative.

@PoorGeno I think the story was a disappointment, but it's not propaganda just because bigots are afraid of LGBTQ characters. People act like the first game didn't already mention Ellie's orientation or have a diverse cast of characters. It's just a subpar sequel, not a big deal.

We can never have nice things on the internet. I feel like every DLC character gets complaints. I didn't play Arms, but some people are not even giving her a chance.

I know people are saying Nintendo, but of the 1st parties, Microsoft could probably use these studios the most and have the deep pockets to allow them to flourish. Mortal Kombat could crossover with Killer Instinct while Rocksteady could continue licensing Batman and other DC properties like Sony with Spiderman. TT and 5th Cell would also give the the Xbox the E rated exclusives they have historically struggled with.

Not surprised they are only kid sizes. Its not like Game Freak recognizes there are adult fans either.

I actually agree. I think Nintendo should revive the Virtual Console branding as service where you can not only buy classic games, but access a much larger selection across many platforms.

@Audiogore0733 Ninja is related to Fortnite because that is how he became famous. We are talking about how ridiculous and overdramatic Fortnite streamers are.

I almost want to track this down for my collection. This game could become a rather valuable turd someday.

I felt like the shrines got repetitive after the first dozen or so. The dungeons of the past games were some of the best parts and would have been welcome in BOTW. The game was great, but it felt like it almost used some of the changes as a gimmick which won't work once the inevitably become Staples since they said the series will take from BOTW moving forward.

This was a great move from Nintendo.

@unoclay No, I understand and that's wonderful. I understand the reasons for going vegan and it is becoming a more accessible lifestyle for many people. I just think PETA and some other groups can be hypocrites when they themselves have killed animals. I do think industrial farming is disgusting I used to volunteer for an animal rescue so I understand the moral reasoning behind veganism.

@mesome713 That is simply false. Meat has most certainly been in many people's diets far longer than the past century. In fact it's the opposite. People had less grains and fibers in their diets because bread was not as easily and quickly manufactured as today and costed more in some societies.

@unoclay Except animals are food. Carnivores and omnivores exist and humans have naturally been omnivorous throughout recorded history. I very much don't want to harm animals, but we can't ignore facts either.

@mesome713 PETA runs a kill shelter that has been caught stealing people's pets. They absolutely are evil.

@LetsGoSwitch Only overfishing. Some invasive species however need to fished because they are destroying the ecosystem.

Yet they euthanize the animals at their shelter in Fairfax, Virginia and have been caught stealing people's pets to kill them as well. So much for animal welfare.

@Kalmaro Captain Marvel was already kind of a weak character even without her betrayal, but then again Marvel studios made even more obscure properties work.

@Kalmaro Now that you mention it. I also remember when she accused people who didn't like the last adaption of "A Wrinkle in Time" being upset that the lead actress was a child of color.

@Kalmaro I'm numb to celebrities saying dumb stuff honestly. Since everything they say is public, you can find the dirtiest gold from any of them if you look hard enough. I just don't think the comments on this site will change her mind or soften her approach to certain issues regardless as unfortunate as it is.

As others mentioned. Due to the nature of the supply chain and the common practice of falsifying information in many Chinese industries, these companies may not have known of these camps being involved in production. It is still their responsibility and they knew what kind of country China was. I expect Nintendo to actually do something about this. The costs of shipping and the rising wages in some provinces was already pushing some companies out of China. I hope this incites change.

@Maschinenmensch His illness was a more severe case. We aren't talking about something like mild depression. He was severely sick to the point he lost control. He took his own life. If anything is unnecessary it would be your insults.

They have pretty much taken this franchise out back like Old Yeller.

You still have to pay for decent room and Pokémon that can't be transferred to Sword and Shield will still be stuck? I'm glad we have a free tier, this is ridiculous. At least make it easier to not get Pokémon stuck in Home.

@Entrr_username Ironically many people, not all, but many who complain about Fire Emblem really haven't played any of the games for a significant amount of time.

@Jayofmaya No, I'm more of a Smash fan who enjoys playing the game with a variety of characters rather than obsessing over how many get in from each franchise. The Legend of Zelda is probably my favorite, but I'm not upset that half the characters from that franchise are just Link. I get excited any time a new character is revealed. I wasn't screaming with shock or excitement this time and I was almost holding out that it would be Edelgard instead, but I enjoyed Three Houses and glad to have music from that game. It also arguably deserves to be in Smash more than almost any other Fire Emblem entry due to its impact. It's odd to me that more content for Ultimate gets attacked on this site, but the rushing and corner-cutting of the latest Pokemon games is defended by many of the same people.

This fan base is killing me.

The same people saying Samurai dropped the ball are the same people who called anybody who called out Game Freak for cutting corners, "entitled." I wonder who the entitled ones truly are.....
