@Mr_Muscle I told you I’ve read many on the site. I even agree with many of the points raised but giving it a zero is still stupid and childish and not objective. I’m not gonna buy it that’s how I show that I don’t think it’s up the scratch but I’m not gonna drop a zero review or even a three as I’ve not played it and Even if I did I’m sure it would be nowhere near a 3.

@Mr_Muscle I’ve seen the site and there are just as many zeroes as there are 3s(which is also a stupid score as it indicates the game barely works). Sorry I just don’t agree that slapping silly scores on stuff is correct, especially if you want to be taken seriously and not just salty fanboy who’s kicking his snorlax out of the the pram. You have people giving it a zero saying they have never played it for god sake. How can you rate a game you’ve never played???? Just don’t buy the thing. If enough people feel the same then they will do something.

@Mr_Muscle if they are dropping zeros out of ten for it then why should I? A zero would indicate that it doesn’t work and isn’t functional. It’s idiotic to give a game like this a zero. Give it a 5 or 6 and write a proper review and I’ll read it but sorry but a zero is stupid.

I used to use Metacritic when is first came about as it was genuinely helpful on getting real people’s opinions on the games and often gave a glimpse at problems not highlighted in media reviews but now the site is basically useless. Once again childish idiots who can’t accept anything that’s not completely how they want it, or are so biased that they give anything by a certain company a 10 have ruined it.

Think the Lite was introduced to cater to people wanting a cheaper option. Hopefully at some point we get a ‘switch hits’ line of games that offers some of nintendos best sellers at a discount price as ive held off on stuff like kirby and yoshi purely from a value stand point.

@Rect_Pola three quarter of the games on that thing have never been available on a Nintendo platform so they wouldn’t be on NSO anyway.

Wouldn’t be a Nintendo console with a flood of poor mario kart clones. Why would anyone choose to buy this over mario Kart, sonic team racing or CTR? You’d have to have a massive love for Kart games

@CharlieGirl that may be a danger but it’s a blatant attempt by Nintendo to control the used games market. Once you bought a game you should be free to sell It on without interference from Nintendo. It is after all your property.

@Kidfunkadelic83 thanks for letting me know mate. Hopefully if they do ever release the trilogy on switch they give you a choice of classic control or motion implemented.

@graysoncharles did they put them into 1 and 2 on the trilogy collection on wii? I had the first two on GameCube and the third on Wii but never got the trilogy. I remember the motion controls working fine on the Wii but would have been just as happy without them.

@Savino agree. Think we have a loonnnnnngg wait ahead for this game. Would snap up a prime trilogy collection tomorrow if released.

Really glad to see Dragon quest 11s doing so well. It justifies the extra care and attention they gave to it and hopefully will mean more from Square in the future. Tom Clancy ghost microtransaction is trash though.

It’s a bit weird that I’m only thinking of getting the game because of the original being included rather than the new title.

@johnvboy you are right. This is just on mobile and is a different market. It’s not like EA, Activison, Ubisoft and take2 started out doing that garbage on mobile and brought it over to their triple AAA releases. No thank god, they left them on mobile......😒

Good result for Zelda. Didn’t expect it to hold top spot with fifa coming out(despite me not understanding why people buy it year after year). Think that’s pretty good sales for dragon quest on the switch as well. They really did a great job with that port with extra content so I really hope it does well.

I’m a huge Nintendo fan boy who’s owned every single piece of hardware they have ever released but I sadly want them to be taken to the cleaners on this one. My joycons ended up unusable due to the amount of drift on them within 18 months of owning the console. I’ve NEVER had problems with any other piece of hardware or controller like this. I think it’s terrible that it’s taken the threat of legal action for Nintendo to do the right thing by their customers and fix and design flaw for free. Worse still is the fact this hasn’t been rolled out worldwide to all customers, only in the continent where the law suit is up. They know there is a problem but they want to do as little as possible cuz heaven forbid they would have to spend some money to correct a mistake. It’s really poor customer service on Nintendo’s part.

Haven’t played this since it was originally released on ps2 back In the day. It was alright. Just remember it being a bit unimaginative and easy. I hope number 3s release isn’t linked to he sales for this one😬

@ElioTheWerewolf I have drift in my right stick. So it’s def possible. This is on joycons though not a switch lite

It’s possible they may have toggled the sensitivity of the sensors which may make it less likely the sticks will pick up signals off the debris that seems to rub off the pads but only time will tell. Won’t be buying a lite until I know it will last. Having those faulty suckers stuck to the console could be fatal.

Let’s be honest, there was no way this was gonna be bad or even average. Nintendo always deliver on these games. Can’t wait for Luigi mansion 3 now. Great titles this year for sure.

Nintendo is so desperately trying to find the next new phenomenon that will get mums and grannies to buy their stuff like they did with the Wii and brain age. Labo was attempt 1, this is attempt number 2. Fair play I guess but I’m guessing it would gather dust after a couple of days and have hardly any game support, although I’m happy to be proved wrong.

Great result for platinum games and well deserved. Great title. That’s gotta be disappointing sales for control though.

That is a really strong chart for Nintendo in the uk. Numbers probably aren’t astronomical but it shows the staying power of their franchises.

@StinkyHat I wouldn’t say that. It’s been an excellent coaster now for many years. I’ve certainly gotten plenty of use out of it and it always protects my table from unsightly spills.

I also think the score is a bit low for a feature that really wasn’t that great in the original. This is an excellent remaster of a classic game. I’d totally recommend it, although I’d probably wait for a sale as I do think it’s a little overpriced for what it is.

Reggie was just massively likeable. I do kinda miss his presence. Hope he’s enjoying his retirement.

Such a shame that when these announcements come now I feel total apathy. It’s gotta be the most totally meh thing Nintendo has done in years.
