Should have delayed the launch but as always getting those Christmas sales to satisfy the shareholders was more important than a functional game. Battlefield 2042 is also a complete mess.

Had this game on the megadrive when I was a kid. Was my first Japanese import. Will always be biased towards it. Def picking this up.

Obviously the cover is terrible but I wouldn’t change it now as it’s become legendary in its own right. It’s so bad it’s good. The fact they ended up putting bad box art mega man in street fighter x tekken as a playable character makes it even better.

Mario kart 8/deluxe is up to 8th now on the best selling video games of all time list with over 45,000,000 million sales. Will probably beat that Pokémon game in 7th soon at this rate.

Steam deck. Switch OLED isnt different enough to warrant me spending that amount on it. The steam deck however opens up a ton of content to me.

I’ll def pick this one up. Probably the only zelda I missed out on playing so this release solves that. Can’t wait to be honest.

Honestly considering some of Russia’s past history with this kind of thing its amazing they didn’t try to ban it. Glad it’s at least available but it’s a shame it’s not accepted as the norm.

Personally I thought this kinda looked like just more of the same. I need to see more innovation to buy into a third for me.

I think it’s a great idea to have these games made available especially as it would be impossible otherwise. If the switch is your only option is the switch then it’s a good thing.Personally I’d just buy a copy for another system. Also if it’s a streaming copy I believe it should be cheaper.

The worst thing to happen to video games sports were exclusive licences. There’s no competition anymore so customers are left with phoned in efforts from EA and 2K. It’s been basically the same game for years and people still lap it up. The new madden is a joke and it’s still number one in the sales chart in the US. EA are a shell of the company they once were. They used to produce really great games. Such a shame

@nessisonett hit the nail on the head. The ports themselves are perfectly fine(except the pricing maybe) but it’s the lack of new games that’s the problem. Personally I feel they should be developing more new franchises or older dead ones.

Honestly will only go near this and other wii u ports if they go into some kind of discounted ‘players choice’ series at some point down the line. Will not buy at those prices.

The guy used his fame to pull women. Morally it’s poor but it’s not illegal. People really need to be careful about what they label as abuse as it’s insulting to victims. Most of the testimonials seem to only be sorry that he stopped getting in touch and having interest. Guys a creep but doesn’t deserve to lose his life and career over it.

@WoomyNNYes they use the Wii u ports to fill in holes where they don’t have any new games coming out. Makes sense to just stretch them out.

I’ll just turn on my wii u and play that one. Save myself 60 quid. Would love to see nintendo develop a few new franchises.

Ive been pretty happy with the stream of games Nintendo has been putting out. Significantly more and I wouldn’t have the time or money for a lot of them. Having said that, this year sucks.

@SalvorHardin also lets be honest, with most of these larger companies the main cost of development is in the first title they make for a next gen console. They then use the same shell for the next 5 years +. Fifa, madden, assassins creed, far cry. It’s the same shell jigged around and used again.

@TG16_IS_BAE good point about castlevania 3 but then again you weren’t the one paying for it back then and didn’t really know or care for the value of money. I also had an NES and the cost of the games meant I only got a new game for Christmas or my birthday so if they raise the price they can’t be that shocked if people decrease the amount of games they buy per year. I guess that could be one of the costs of that.

I pretty much never pay full price for things now let alone another 10 or 20 on top of things. I always wait a year before buying most my games. I always have stuff to play so I’m never really in a rush. The exception are Nintendo first party games(if I’m interested in the title) but even that I’ll shop around and get at least a tenner off.

I went in with zero expectations and it was still disappointing. It’s like it never happened

I wonder when Nintendo will do a player select range for the switch. There are a number of games that could get a new lease of life with a cut price range.

Last of us 2 seems to be having quite large week on week sales. Think in the uk it was down 85%. It had a great start but I wonder if it will sell like the original. Mario Kart passing 3m is great and Ring fit adventure is an incredible success for nintendo.

@Zenszulu these games use the same game engine year after year and add basically nothing. They could quite easily have a yearly dlc patch that costs a fraction of a new game but they know they can continue rinsing people.

@impurekind agree with this. In its current state it’s a baffling release and price point. Classic SEGA in many ways. They are the kings of the ‘wtf’ release.
