Fortnite has seen quite a few crossover events over the past few months, and now the game is getting a visit from one of the most iconic baddies in movie history.
You can now purchase an Imperial Stormtrooper skin in the game, a crossover that is presumably intended to build hype for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the upcoming Rise of Skywalker movie, which hits cinemas in December.
We'd hope that buying this skin won't reduce your accuracy – stormtroopers are famously poor shots, at least in the films.

@willi3su I still stand by the fan theory that Boba Fett killed Luke's aunt and uncle.
He was on Tatooine at the time, he has a flame thrower, and imperial blasters don't exactly turn people into charred skeletons.

But what makes even less sense is why a top tier professional bounty hunter would be roaming the outskirts and randomly murder two old people he doesn't know or care about. Plus Fett was employed by Jabba at the time. Jabba has no beef with the Lars.

Wow, I never expected to see Star Wars in Fortnite - even after the Avengers crossover.
They always miss.

Ok, this would be the ONE thing I would buy for Fortnite. I would take almost any opportunity to show my love for Star Wars in video games outside of a Star Wars game. It also doesn't help that I think that Stormtroopers are cool.
@willi3su It's more than likely a joke based on the films themselves. They rarely ever land any clean hits. The only exception is the First Order in the newer trilogy. Under Captain Phasma's rule, they suddenly become better!

But if you actually look at original trilogy scenes where stormtroopers are facing enemy groups that aren't main characters and you can actually tally the body count, the stormtroopers are more accurate by a large margin.

@Tharsman You have to pay real money for in game 'V-Bucks' and then go to the item shop in the lobby. You can there buy the skin. Theres no luck to it but you have to pay money. I'm not too sure how much 'V-Bucks' is but its around 1000 for £8. The skin costs 1500 'V-Bucks'
I can barely aim in fortnite so this skin is perfect for me!
