My yearly sub was up last month and I’m not gonna renew. The features just aren’t good enough for me to see it as a genuine option for online play. Honestly nintendos offering seems really subpar to me.

This kind of thing shouldnt be allowed to make it to the eshop. The reason the switch has so many amazon indie games is due to the developers abandoning steam due to their efforts being buried under streams of asset flips. If Nintendo isn’t careful we could be buried in this garbage soon.

I bought the PS4 version for now as I wanted to easily play it with my brother and be able to talk to him. I’ll eventually get a copy on the switch as well as I fully expect Sega to do what they did with sonic mania and do physical copies of this eventually.

@nessisonett having taken the time to go and look at the comments expressed on discord myself(and not the cut down try to make people look as bad as possible versions) I would say that there isn’t anything there that is in any way transphobic. I’d say there are views that some people may disagree on but nothing that I would say is against trans people existing or anything like that. People have a habit these days of labelling you as phobic or racist if your don’t 100% percent agree on difficult subjects and how they should be approached. Like when the creator of Burt and Earnie said he created the characters and they weren’t gay he was labelled homophobic. It’s honestly ridiculous. Feel free to not agree with their comments(I don’t line up with all of them myself) but I think it’s unfair to say they are transphobic. Increasingly in life I find that the very people who champion themselves on tolerance and acceptance are some of the least tolerant and accepting people you’ll ever meet on planet Earth and often think you don’t belong on it. Ironic

Could they patch in a lower price point?

I think it needed a little longer in the oven and feels a bit rushed. Don’t like how the dragoon keeps moving up and down. It’s harder to figure out where u are with regards to your hit box. It’s not terrible it just needed a bit more time.

It was really good with regards to games from other publishers but I still want to know what Nintendo has lined up for the year(if anything).

To be beating doom eternal in the first week is incredible.

Not surprised in the slightest. With companies paying bottom dollar to ground level employee and paying huge bonuses to executives and share holders why wouldn’t they also use slave labour? Honestly depresses me how greedy these companies can be. Why not have some profit and pay people a living wage or any wage in this case.

@RickD yeah totally agree. I want to pick up that mega man zero collection but other than that there’s not much announced yet. I’m sure a direct will come at some point but even then it’s been very slow in this first quarter. Doesn’t help that I’ve got no interest in animal crossing either😂

Ring fit adventure is exactly the reason why I love Nintendo so much. Nintendo are never afraid to just try new things out that other companies would never in a million years try. Yes some of them flop, Labo heres looking at you, but some are really fun and push games in new directions.

I love Sega but it has to be one of the worst run companies that is still in business. They make the most baffling business decisions and have been doing so for decades. Before it was in their terrible hardware add on decisions but now it’s in its games. Why not port persona 5 to the switch?? Surely that’s a no brainer? Why allow so many of your classic IPs to rot in a vault and continue to make mediocre at best sonic games and then wonder why the sales are poor? Why release the same small batch of old games like space harrier etc when you are sitting on a treasure trove of arcade classics that people have never been able to own and you bite your hand off for? Seriously it’s bizarre.

How have they not done anything for mario party on the switch. The thing has sold over 9 million copies but no new stuff. I’m surprised

@Keldorek I get people who want to play it through as it was originally, I really do but why bemoan an option for other people who don’t that you don’t have to use. It literally makes no sense to me. It’s like, who cares? Why does it impact your life?

@sikthvash yeah that’s the way I see it. It’s just an extra option there that can be used or not. It’s your choice at the end of the day. Why would it being included be a negative, no one is forcing people to rewind.

I think after LABOs failure to catch fire nintendo chose to be a lot more conservative with any expectations for a product unlike most things on the market. Now they are playing catch up on demand as it turns out people are very much interested in new and fun ways to get fit.

Got all three this gen. last gen I skipped on the PS3 and had the 360 and Nintendo machine as my line up. I always get nintendos system no matter what and then exclusives dictate what the other machine will be.

You didn’t actually answer if the series is full of boobs. Really need to know the answer to this. Whether I watch the show hinges on it.

Great to see Luigis mansion still selling well. It’s a quality game and deserves its time in the sun. Also hopefully this will mean more in the future.

I’m surprised by those Pokémon sales. It’s been wall to wall criticism wherever I’ve looked about Pokemon and thought that would filter into the sales of it. Guessing most of those people bought it or has Pokémon go grown the franchise out?
