There is still hope for new Comix Zone

I liked it , didn't love it.
Reason for that is probably because I played Mario & Luigi series before ever getting to play Super Mario RPG.
Everything RPG introduced, M&L perfected.

Isn't this the case with any job?

@JR150 I never uderstood that logic. Not saying it is wrong, but I don't understand it.
If there is potential that something will get leaked, then why create anything at all?
Sooner or later, pre-release or post-release, things get online.

There are some great ideas in the game, but implementation was poorly done.
It is servicable kart racer, but when compared to Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing, it feels worse than it actually is.

DK Mountain, but that Bowser Castle is close second.

It is too bad for WarioWare. I love the franchise and I hope Nintendo won't come to conclusion that they should pass on another sequel. Just, maybe, ditch the motion controls next time. I miss the days of GBA simplicity, and I bet that would work better on Switch.

I don't understand the argument that it is a bad thing the game is Apple exclusive.
That is like saying it is bad for Super Mario game to be exclusive to Switch.

Out of all of these, I heard only about Gravity Circuit. Played it, loved it.
Every game here looks great.

I still play on Wii U, especially with friends. Nintendo Land and Game & Wario, those two alone are worth it. Fantastic party console.

Into the Breach. I just can't get enough of that game.

There was a ton of things that were spoiled for me from Mario Odyssey that I won't mention here in case someone hasn't played it yet. I'll just say there were jaw dropping moments that I wish I discovered myself.

Yeah, this was introduced way back in Donkey Kong 94, the game this one spun off from.
They should have remade that one.

I am surprised to see so many comments deciding to skip on the game because it got a 7. 7 is great score.
Me personally I would give it a 9.
I loved Streets of Red and this one plays similarly.
The rouge-like elements that are mentioned, I wouldn't even call that rouge-like. 4 stages, and each one gets longer, but you get to choose the order.
All in all, I loved the game, and hope to see a Battletoad down the line as a DLC.

Next generation of consoles will be digital only. PC is already digital only, PS5 is halfway there with digital edition of the console.
It makes no sense not to go fully digital.

European cover tells me the game is about series of puzzles. The North American cover tells me it is about series of puzzles AND a story.
Asthetics aside, North American and Japanese cover sell the idea of the game much better.

@Anti-Matter And this is why movie is so successful, repeat viewings. I plan to see it in cinemas multiple time as well.

Many reviews are criticizing shallow story and amount of easter eggs, and mentioning spectacle over anything meaningful.
Yet, when Avatar 2 came out, I've heard the exact same thing, story is so-so but the visuals are fantastic, and that one is getting more positive reviews.
John Wick 4 is nothing but action with some bits of story thrown in, and it is described as "turn your brain out and enjoy", again, with positive response from critics.
My opinion is, the reason behind mixed reviews for Mario is expectations that were through the roof, and it didn't meet those. Doesn't make it a bad movie.
As everything, we will have to judge for ourselves.
Gonna see it tomorrow and I can't wait.

It is always a bad sign when reactions are praising everything else except the actual story.
My expectations are a bit lowered now.
Sure, easter eggs are fun, but you can't build a good movie on easter eggs.
Still, hope for the best.

@Randinator123 The problem is not the pace, it is thr choice of games they decide to release. I mean... Side Pocket? Seriously? I have no problem waiting for a new game, but why bottom of the barrel?
Gameboy is still new so that one will have better new releases, but when it comes to NES and SNES, what's the point.

Looks too similar to the Advance Wars. A simple change of visuals would do wonders for title such as this. As is, it will be always compared to Advance Wars, unlike Wargroove, whith similar gameplay but very different visual flare.

Guess it is time to complain about things that we can easily avoid and nobody is forcing to invest in.

There is no such thing as a perfect game, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is as close as it gets to that unreachable status.
You got to wonder is there even a point of making a sequel, or should they focus on updating this one through the Switch's life span, only to release Ultimate version on the next console, and they keep updating that one.
Same thing with Smash Bros Ultimate.

Nintendo succesfully milked out an article or two from that ridiculous announcment.
They know exactly what they are doing.

Or you can just play the original.

It would be like saying they won't release Link's Awakening Gameboy version because there already is a remake on Switch.

Bout time. It's been 8+ months since I bought a Switch game. Here is hoping we get a new Wario platformer (let me dream!!).

Fans do what Nintendon't. It's been years since last Rhythm Heaven, so it is great to see the genre going strong, even though it is not directly from Nintendo.

I still remember reason the year of Luigi happened, when they forgot to include him in Mario Party 10 cover xD

It's been 5 years since Mario Odyssey. Anyone thinking we will get a tie in game to the movie?

Having good experience with his previous games, I have high hopes for this one, despite the art direction.

@Classic603 It is not about the spoiler as such, it is about spoiling something the moment it came out.

To everyone who care for spoilers, avoid Youtube. Went to put some music on and first recommended video had a spoiler in the title for the christmas special.
Spoilers like these are easily avoided when people don't put them in the titles of articles like this one, or when thumbnail doesn't make it obvious.
Sure, it is a small detail, but why is there the need to spoil something the moment it came out? Must be for the clicks. And yes, I clicked on the article, so the joke is, indeed, fully on me.
