DK Returns HD, I am going for 100%, and it is gonna be a loooooong road.

Returns is a single player game. I know there is a 2 player option, but let's be real here, it is a single player game.

I am 100% okay with Microsoft doing nothing with Banjo franchise.
What I'm not okay with is letting it collect dust and not selling it away.
There has been some resurgence of 3D platformers and collectatons.
Then again, the Banjo fans are now grown ups, with no time to play as much as before. There are no younger fans because there was no new game in the franchise since 2008.
The new entry would have to be a masterpiece, game of the year contender, to have a chance of making good sales.

God forbid people invest time and money on the original ideas. Instead, let's make a movie based around an IP we don't own and try later how a big bad corporation shuts us down.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for fan made stuff, but once money is involved, that's where it gets tricky.
And yes, I know if they made something original it wouldn't get as much publicity. It is not fair, but that's how it is. Nothing is popular until it become popular.
On top of all that, Nintendo is making their own Zelda movie.
I will be surprised if they let this one slide.

I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 600. If it is 400, I am buying it in a hearbeat.

If we get 24 racers, I would prefer if it as an option. 8, 12, 24, it shouldn't be that hard to implement, right?

Imagine a Super Mario game that Shigeru Miyamoto had nothing to do with, and in the credits you see "Based on characters created by employee."
I mean, it is not like they have to credit every specific person, just add the name of the studio in the credits.

It brings back the memories of Donkey Kong 94 for Gameboy and DK Jr. from Super Mario Kart on SNES, and I see that as an absolute plus.
But it is the design of other characters as well that really trigger my nostalgia button.
Mario looks very much like his design in Mario Kart 64.

Ah, Nintendo shouldn't really care. It is all about the software anyway. That is what sells the console, not a console itself.

You have to wonder how the developers explain to themselves that this is not a rip-off, or how do they convince themselves to work on a copy of a well known franchise instead of creating something original.

If this is indeed what Switch 2 will be, then Nintendo hasn't learned a single thing from their mistake when they released Wii U.

Of course he is coming back for a fourth one.
The third one proved that a Sonic movie without Jim Carrey is kinda pointless.
They really hit the nail on the head with casting him as Eggman, and I bet you the next one won't be nearly as well received if he won't be in it.

Robobot is a great Kirby title, however, I would prefer Epic Yarn.

@LimitedPower They wouldn't get to part 2, let alone part 3 to even try a different design on Shadow.
It is stunning how much boost the first movie got by simply being faithful to the original design of the character.

So it is just another LEGO game. Didn't they change the formula significantly with the latest LEGO Star Wars? Why go back to the old formula?

I got the game recently and it wasn't my cup of tea. The Castlevania coating doesn't really entice me to give it another shot.

I think they will just rerelease Smash Bros Ultimate for Switch successor, with couple more characters. I mean, what is there to add that can significantly change the formula?
He is working on a new IP, and my bet is on something in a relax/puzzle genre that people will appreciate but ultimately won't play because it won't be based on an existing IP.

Got this day one. Loved the original, beat it 100%, and judging by first few levels I went through, this is definitely couple of steps up from the first one.
For those who like platforming genre, this is a must.

My sweet spot is between 7 and 8 hours.

Now do the same analysis with Shovel Knight.
I mean, of course they took a lot of inspiration from games that work well.
It is not about the parts, it is about the whole.

Not surprised. All their games I played I liked. Tried the demo, and it was very charming.

They can't really be surprised by this. I am not saying the game is bad, I haven't played it, but considering what they released before, this new one was major departure from the franchise, which is not a bad thing, but expectations should be checked.

I bet there will be additional challenges or levels after you beat the main game.
Kirby's games are super easy... unless you go for 100%.
Super Mario games are on the easy side.... but good luck getting 100%.
I bet same will apply here, but even if it doesn't, I have no problem with the game being easy.

King of Swing is criminally underrated. It is in my top 10 GBA games, easy.

They can delay it to 2026.

A friend of mine returned my GBA SP recently, and he gave me Fire Red as well.

The level of excitement for Brawl was off the charts and hasn't been replicated since, and it delivered

Good. I don't care what he did and if he did it, I am against adding likeness of youtubers (or famous people in general) in video games. It kills the immersion completely for me.
