3D Land is kind of underrated in my opinion, when compared to other Mario games. Same goes for 3D World actually. I'd buy a Switch port in a heartbeat.

Today after work I am going to start The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Other than that, I'll be dipping into Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Golf: Super Rush online multiplayer.

She's persevering despite the setbacks and increased challenge. At 3 years old. She's going to be fine.

@Alpha008 it really doesn't. They'll just be trading as and listed on stock exchanges as Everplay. You'll still see Team17 on anything they publish or develop.

If you're concerned about what this means for the iconic 'Team17' name, then worry not. Everplay states that the branding for the developer, video games label, and publisher will remain, allowing it to continue operating as it does today.

This is a real shame, but it's better to cancel the game than to carry on without the passion that was so evident in Celeste. Good luck to Maddy and the rest in whatever's next for them.

@AmplifyMJ see, I'm the opposite. I've played through Celeste twice and adore it. Hollow Knight, however, I've tried twice to get into and just can't.

I started Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury last weekend, due to a hankering for level-based Mario. Since then I've done everything in 3D World except finish every level with every character, because bugger off I'm not doing that. I've also got 69 (nice) of the Cat Shines in Bowser's Fury. I'd never played it before and it's pretty damn good; I'll definitely be going for all 100 shines! I'd like the next mainline Mario game to really flesh out the idea of open world Mario.

Also still playing New Pokémon Snap, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Helldivers 2.

@VoidofLight ported time and time again? It's been ported once prior to this 🤣 twice if you count a version that only released in China.

Still playing The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and New Pokémon Snap. After 100%-ing Super Mario Bros. Wonder, I had a hankering for some more level-based Mario, so picked up Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, which is definitely scratching that itch.

My brother got me New Pokémon Snap and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for my birthday, so I've been playing those. Good thing he bought me Switch games really, as I've not been well (man flu, so I may as well be dying) the past few days, so I haven't felt like sitting at the desk. Incidentally, I haven't played Helldivers 2 in 4 days; I don't know if the shaking is from the illness or from withdrawal.

Now we're talking!

I went through and redownloaded a load of games from the first time I had a Switch and never finished. I've been playing BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Oh and Helldivers 2 because I have a problem.

Good on the devs of Thank Goodness You're Here! for having their debut game even considered for best game. If I were them, I'd be extremely proud of that, even if it doesn't make it to the final list of nominees.

I did it. I got 100% in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I'm not sure any other game will ever fill the void I currently feel in my soul.

My journey to 100% completion in Super Mario Bros. Wonder is nearing its end. I have all the wonder seeds, purple coins, standees and flag poles; I just need the last badge and I'm done.

I jumped into Pokémon Unite for the first time this week. I've played eight matches, won seven of them and been the highest scoring player (across both teams) in six of them, so one of three things is happening:

1. there are CPU "players" in matches
2. everyone is rubbish at this game
3. I am s**t hot at this game

As a guy with some pretty severe vision issues, this is a common thing with Switch games. I’ve long accepted there are just some games I cannot read in handheld mode. Even just menu options can be hard sometimes. I wish devs would consider this more.

Same here. The one that always springs to mind for me is Fire Emblem: Three Houses. So much of the text was not only small but on a stylised background that made it hard to read on a TV for me and impossible to read in handheld mode.

@Max_the_German Nintendo is easily one of the worst developers when it comes to accessibility.

@SwitchVogel thanks! I only ask because even when Dragon Age XI first came out, it didn't have the orchestral soundtrack; it was added in the Definitive Edition release. Something to do with the composer - not Squeenix - actually owning the rights to the music if I remember correctly.

If the DK Rap kissed me and gave me a million quid, it still wouldn't be good.

I have to respectfully disagree with Kaze and the Wild Masks being "an absolute pleasure from start to finish". It's the one of the least enjoyable platformers I've ever played.

I'm a big fan of the HD-2D aesthetic. I really enjoyed Octopath Traveler and its sequel. Haven't played Triangle Strategy (yet).
