Very true. I don't care how much you want that SEGA game on Day 1. Don't. Just don't. It will be on sale in a month. Wait 2-3 and it will even be to an insulting degree. Looking at you Sonic X Shadow for 11.29. I don't think there is a company that is more 'F.U for supporting this on release' than Sega.

Never played it, but want to. Aside from hearing it is very very good, the fact it was shaped from cut content and ideas from Secret of Mana intrigues me. Hope it does indeed involve some sort of re-release or remake, and it is not just a music cd, some stickers, and a premium collector statue etc...

@Haruki_NLI Personally, I would use it should I play with someone. I don't have Discord. I used to, but deleted it for mental health reasons. Ditto to Facebook. I found it bad for it. I know that is just me though.

No, Mana is not for everyone and that is ok! We could be here all day if there was no cut off! What a lot of good games! RPG fans are spoilt for choice with Switch at any rate.

And what do you collect? Are there 150 baseballs...each doing something slightly different? Are they just laying there on the ground and...attack you...but if you defeat them with another baseball you can keep them?

At this point, you are really just asking for a new game. This is not a light re-skin and call it a day kind of thing!

Donkey Kong GB on NSO! World 3 now. I love it. Top tier Gameboy game. Never played it before, but loved Mario Vs. Donkey Kong on Switch, so this is great. I am amazed at how unclunky Mario feels. The animation between worlds showing a new mechanic is good too, very clever. Happy weekend and gaming people.

@MontyCircus Excellent point. If this was calculated by the past decade, or even 5 years, I think that the bigger picture would be very different as to where Nintendo really stand in the industry.

@JohnnyMind Ah, thanks. Probably too much to hope for on NSO? Japan MAYBE, but I doubt they would go to the length or translating! Not really a fan of playing things on the PC.
Yes, a proper new one like the GB game would be so good! Some battles were tenser than the mainline ones with every move making a real difference between win or lose.

How does it work for 3rd partys and payment? Does anyone know? Does Nintendo pay them a repeat yearly fixed fee or something? Or could it get lowered if they know not that many are playing it? Just curious how it might work really. There must be some games getting a lot more play than others on NSO.

Even with Switch 2 on the horizon, plenty people still want a Switch (including all variants on that). Love to see it.

Everytime they bring this up I say the same thing. All I want from them is ToeJam and Earl 3 from the OG xbox. It is one of those seen as the weakest, but I still enjoyed playing it a lot. Love to do it again. Though, the rights for that one are with Sega, who normally love re-re-re-releasing games!

One of my favourite Mario games and an excellent sound track indeed. The first EVER video game I played at 4 years old. I replay it often on NSO. Love it. Don't care that it is not conventional Mario. I knew of this before Mario Bros 1! It is still a really really fun game!

The EU version somehow doesn't seem like the same game, which is weird, given that the same central image is there.

I could see them carrying on with the DS Remaster way. It has done gangbusters for them thus far really. Would I like it as NSO though? Yes, otherwise I will probably end up playing about 5-10 percent of said remasters. On NSO, would obviously play far far more things I may never take a chance on.

They will add another console(s) to NSO (2) though, I think that is a given. DS feels more likely than Gamecube to me, but I could see both happening.

Well, not really. But I shall be playing more of the excellent WARIO LAND 4. It is so good! Nintendo are just the best at level design, they really are. I adored Wario Land (Mario Land 3?) on the classic GB and never had this one, so it is a real treat.

@N00BiSH Same. So many games that I would never think to buy or try! Much prefer it this way. I pay ten pounds a year as part of a family group. That would get me maybe one and a bit of the Snes games if they were available to buy seperate?
