@JohnnyMind Thanks man Yes, can confirm doing all these will slow down the drainage. Out of the box settings with a Switch 2 are a killer. You will get about 2 hours at best, from day 1. Check these and you can make a big difference!
@Qwiff The music in Crafted world was such a killer. Don't know why it went so wrong in that department. I keep playing Yoshi's Story to this day, even yesterday on my Switch 2, because I love it so much. Hope for a new Yoshi one day, if not a Wooly World port. Have fun
@croz Ah, that is a shame. Not tried out everything yet. I did find Yoshi's Story (n64) looking BETTER though. Might be just crazy though. Yes, hopefully there will be patches in time for this... I still have my Switch obviously, but have sent over all data now.
@Kwyjibo_Kitsune "Some Switch games aren't being upscaled well enough in handheld mode causing noticeable softness"
Ah. That explains it. I was trying to figure it out. I was playing TJ and Earl: BITG on it and was sure it somehow seemed ever so slightly worse looking. I was not sure if it was just the bigger screen or something, but that is...really kinda disappointing. I would have expected it look at least the same.
Battery is sadly terrible and will take me time to adjust to a heavier handheld. I think I prefered the feel of my Switch
One of the reasons I adopted early was my Switch Battery life was not great after 7 years, naturally...but that one is honestly still stronger than the Switch 2 at this point. I am worried about that as this is the strongest it will be. I think you can get 2 hours tops out of it. I am not sure there is a solution to that easily?
The internet on it is really good though. I also found the graphics slightly better playing the N64 classics somehow.
Not yet played a proper Switch 2 game or a Switch 1 game with a big upgrade like Pokemon, so that might be what I need to feel like this is worth it.
I got it!!! Well, bought it rather. I can't believe it. Logged onto Argos this morning and was surprised to see I could buy one and pick up today from my local store (5 mins away). Haha. Also, paid just 68 pounds thanks to Nectar points.
@jfp It was excellent! I really enjoyed it. Think they did everything right with it. I think Cobra Kai and this are some of the best examples of doing legacy sequels. I would also rate Ash Vs. Evil Dead in that picture too, for the TV show at least.
@Summer235 You are in for a treat. One of those games you wish you could experience again for the first time I find. Said it before, but Mario RPGs (Includes Mario + Luigi & Paper Mario) are my favourite kind of Mario game.
Off to see Karate Kid: Legends shortly! Also a library visit, but will also play a little bit more of KIRBY STAR STACKER (NSO). I am in the final stretch having unlocked 'Insane Mode'. About 20 more levels to go! I love it. It fast became one of my favourite puzzle games.
But I want to be a good boy and not cheat! Unpopular opinion, but I liked rewind NOT being an option in the N64 games. I know I do not have to use it, but if it is there...it is hard not to. The option to make save states was enough for me.
That said....maybe I can finally beat Mario 64 now! Some of the platform hopping in the latter part of the game is too finnicky for me! Haha.
I will be playing KIRBY STAR STACKER and maybe SURVIVAL KIDS too via NSO. I started Kirby yesterday intending to play about 5 mins, but found myself playing it a lot longer than I thought.
Beat all of Normal round clear yesterday (8 stages) and decided to then tackle Super Hard Round Clear. I don't know why there and not do Hard mode first!
I figured I would see if I even could. It is frantic, but done 3 levels of it so far, so managing it. I love it.
I may play Survival Kids too, but think I will want to beat all of Kirby SS first!
@Suketoudara Indeed. That is the best of the best of them! I would take any of them though, so barren has it been. The unreleased in the west Snes games would be a real gem treat.
As some people have pointed out, the inclusion of a Konami game is interesting indeed. Could it lead to a Goemon title getting a release? Even the Gameboy one would be a good curo to put on. It continues to mystify why they almost go out of the way to not mention it or use it beyond branding on Pachi Slot machines.
Ooh nice. The pokemon inspired visuals draw me in. One that I always had a small interest in as a child, but never bought it. Thank you Nintendo! Look forward to giving it a try. More Kirby is always good too!
Would have so bought for Power Stone 1+2 alone! Wouldn't have touched the other games and still been happy with it. Alas, the fact it is not the Dreamcast version is a major turn off for me. I loved the shop and adventure mode. Without it, it doesn't hold enough interest. Need a bit more than fighting exhibition matches. Hope people who love these genres regardless have a blast though.
@KaiserGX "Idk... I just roll my eyes now when they mention the Mario movie not having anything to it and just being references and easter eggs.. like hard for me to take anyone seriously with that take at this point... like move on from it already."
Lol. I was actually looking forward to it and I am very very shy and introverted. I don't have any friends. A few choice people on here I wouldn't mind playing with and talking too, but seems most people don't want to use this feature I have no interest in getting the camera, but just the VO chat.
Oh, wells.
Viewtiful Joe and Goemon. 2 of the greatest video game mysteries. Rich history and popular, but dormant for so long in an era where collections, remasters, and re-makes never cease. Heck, both were popular enough for animes back in the day!
Happy that Princess Peach and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong have crossed that barrier!
I loved both. I hope we get more 'mid-tier', for want of a better word, games like this. Ones that are not overwhelming adventures and don't require quite as much investment or resources, but still have Nintendo magic.
Still hoping for 'Princess Peach Showtime: Encore!' one day.
I believed them when they said there would be enough Switch 2s for everyone at launch! Possibly selling more/faster than they predicted! No such luck so far!
I mean....yeah.
Amazon and Google probably do this and a whole lot worse.
In this day and age, I don't actually see it is shocking. You can use your phone instead on loud speaker, but you think that isn't also recorded? I would prefer it if they didn't, but it is pretty standard stuff
Well, I only own and play Nintendo systems, so don't need to worry on that part. I am still hoping Nintendo do a new voucher deal scheme for Switch 2 games. It feels like a no-brainer.
I am still unsure if they know the general perception of this character is as a punchline. It feels like they must do, surely?
I honestly think the revival of Bubsy mistakenly happened because of Jontron's video on it all those years ago.
They confused attention with affection.

Nintendo Switch 2: Welcome Tour at number 3.
Blimey, so much for some people saying that zero people will buy that!

Re: Nintendo Switch 2 System Transfer: How To Move All Games, Saves, Profiles From Switch 1
What about data on the SD card on the original Switch? I am about to transfer, but worried it will be locked if left on it?

Is it Komplete without that Sub Zero N64 game?
I remember that being hated in the day! Probably still is!
Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?
Well, I would, but as soon as they come back in stock and I can click fast enough. So, probably not for another 3-4 months is what I expect.
Re: Feature: "It Was Always About Surviving Together" - Why Konami Chose This Forgotten IP For Switch 2's Launch
@Ichiban I honestly find the GBC version 8-bit graphics more visually appealing.

3 player co-op is the best kind of co-op.
He said, with bias.

Stop taunting me. It is out of stock!
Lol.
No real rush, but would like one hopefully in time for Kirby in August.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes (Dreamcast)
The Dreamcast games had beautiful box art.
I miss that.
Voted NA on this occasion!
